Don’t worry about it, its basically a “Well duh”. We have known for some time now that the human bran employs Quantum processing, those of us who have studied quantum mechanics have known for decades that there are 11 dimensions to the universe. So the fact that the human brain uses 11 dimensions to process and store information is, well, like I said, a “Well Duh” moment.

Oh… and if you are still breathing, you’re not incompetent in all 11 dimensions.

BREAKING: Gunman Asks If GOP, Then Shoots 5, Including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, Aides…UPDATE: Rand Paul Said Had Scalise Security Detail Not Been There, Would Have Been Massacre…

Five people including the House Majority Whip Steve Scalise were shot at a GOP baseball practice on Wednesday morning.

Scalise was shot in the hip by the gunman who fired between 50 and 100 rounds from his rifle before being brought down by one of the security agents on scene.

Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis said the shooter asked the group of they were Republican or Democrat before opening fire.

Two members of Scalise’s security detail were also shot and an unnamed congressional staffer was shot in the leg.

The shooting took place at around 6.30am at a practice field in Alexandria, Virginia. The politicians were practicing for a charity match which is due to take place on Thursday at Nationals Park.

Paul told Fox News he was in the outfield, behind a fence, when the gunman started firing up to 60 shots at lawmakers, hitting Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., two officers and an aide.

Paul saw Scalise “go down” at second base.

“We can see him but can’t get to him,” Paul said. “My gut feeling was I have to decide to stay or run. At that point, I think he’s advancing toward us.”

Paul said if not for the security detail who accompanies Scalise everywhere, there would have been “no stopping” the shooter, who was situated somewhere behind third base.

“I do believe without the Capitol Hill police, it would have been a massacre,” Paul said. “We had no defense, no defense at all. We are lucky Scalise was there. This was his security detail. Without them, it would have been a massacre. There was no stopping this guy. We were like sitting ducks. It was a wide open field, it’s a killing field.”

Ohio Rep. Brad Wenstrup, an Iraq War veteran and a surgeon, was with Scalise.

“I felt like I was back in Iraq but without my weapon,” Wenstrup said.

      Doesn’t sound like a disgruntled ex-staffer to me…

It’s a good guess the shooter had no idea who specifically was on the field as he didn’t anticipate the security detail. Also, assuming the witnesses are even close in their estimate of the number of rounds fired, this guy came in fully loaded and took his time. He wanted a massacre

      have to run, vet appt.

      waves HI back, eagle!

I’ve been drepressed with panic attacks and nightmares. Why? I wanted to figure out what philosophy is behind this “open border/open society” by Soros and what kind of kraken is this network.

To cut a long story short: the philosophy is based on Henri Bergson who you’ll remember got a Nobel prize for literature and had been a very prominent philosopher/intellectual in the first thre decades of the 20th century but has since rightly been forgotten.

The new utopia based on Bergson’s philosphy: no democratic principles anymore b’cause one can’t trade structures from the past to the future. There will be constant chaos/change but this is “healthy” and “innovative”. All of humanity lives in complete asceticism and in a kind of “mystic activism or activistic mysticism” without any luxury and prosperty even in sexuality to save the earth.

Now I understand where these attacks come from on our living style: Marxism promised prosperty for all “open societism” promises poverty and asceticism and mysticism for all.

Suspect in shooting at congressional baseball practice identified by law enforcement officials as James T. Hodgkinson

The man who opened fire at a baseball field in Alexandria, Va., is James T. Hodgkinson of Belleville, Ill., according to law enforcement officials. Hodgkinson, 66, owns a home inspection business. His home inspection license expired in November 2016 and was not renewed, state records show.

Hodgkinson was charged in April 2006 with battery and aiding damage to a motor vehicle, according to online records in St. Clair County, Illinois. The charges were dismissed, records show.

AH HA HA HA!! Not by me! I did my (high school) senior thesis on him, contrasting his bullshit w/Zen. Guggi, I was a philosophy major. Don’t bother getting depressed by this stuff. These are some very troubled people and altho intellectual theory from them may sound interesting, in real life they are utter failures and that counts for a great deal when evaluating their work. My mentor was married to a man from the Netherlands who taught philosophy at university and he knew a lot of these people back in Europe before the war and, thru him, so did she. I could tell you stories about Sartre and Simone that would curl your toes and only a few have recently made it into print. Both of them belonged in jail. And the bottom line on Socrates drinking the hemlock is that he was hopelessly in debt, his wife was a harridan, his kids were tossers and at least that way the state would pay for a respectful funeral. So much resolves to the utterly mundane. Don’t give it more value than it deserves. This progressive thought that seems to have become so insidious is just permission for thugs to be thugs – just like radical islam – and deserves no more respect than that. Call it what it is – a criminal enterprise. Its apologists are in fact collaborators and must be named as such. Evil is always simple because it has to be easy to be attractive. No big words or complex analysis are required. “Totalitarian” says it all.

Listening to Chris Plante, I gather the MSM is ignoring this guy’s support for Bernie, but is going after the white supremicist angle instead. Nice try.

IMO. I can feel the level of violence rising in the country because its becoming an avocation in the news/entertainment cycle. The progressives actually enjoy the violence while all the time speaking peace. No one calls them out on it seriously. They say “But But But Trump!” and think that makes violence ok. There is violence on the right also, but its still below the surface. If left unchecked we will see a type of fascism occur in the country. IMO.

Although I doubt that these young people realize what the underlying philosophy means (chaos, destruction of civilization, poverty and at the end totalitarism) it has become so dangerous because it is not a closed philosophy like Marxism but a network. To fight a network is much harder than to fight a defined enemy. It is like to fight the Lernaean Hydra.

Hubby just got back from a doc appt. They’re giving names in radio reports now, and if what he heard is correct, one of the victims is a friend. He is NOT an aide, he’s a lobbyist for Tyson’s Foods. He’s trying to confirm now.

      @ Deplorable Martian Overlord:

of all of us, you are the one that called this. Right after the election. You said the political rhetoric had become so ugly you feared fr Trump’s life. After a few weeks, I started to fear for all of us.

I follow Kurt Schlicter on twitter. He’s written some fun books about what it looks like f we really do have a blue-on-red shooting war. Lately he’s been saying “they want us dead”. Now, w/n the past 2 wks or so he’s been telling them “You aren’t going to like the new rules”

This has been a plan of the left for a long time. They have been turning up the hysteria during each Republican administration. (With gradual adjustments upwards when they are in charge, directing their vitriol to whomever is the face of the GOP at the time no matter how weak and spineless). It is standard brainwashing. Keep adjusting things until it seems normal, then turn it up more. The longer you do this you wind up with a core group of fanatic followers who will commit any atrocity in order to “protect themselves” from whatever perceived threat you aim them at. GWB was one of the weakest presidents in history, and yet if yo look at the way the left treated him you would believe he was satan himself. Now with Trump they have noticed the fear amongst their followers that Trump endangers their distorted way of life. So, of course they ratchet it up to unheard levels. At this point they honestly want him to die. The ones in charge are aware enough that Trump isn’t what they claim he is, but they are so invested in the destruction of this country that they are willing to turn a blind eye to their loyal followers committing murder. Hell, they know damn well the press will spin it so they will never be held accountable. What is this, two Bernie supporters turned assassins now? And yet the press labeled both with the blanket “white supremacist” label, knowing that their loyal followers will take the assumption these are racist right wingers.

I hope so. The left has been targeting the wrong group to be their killers. They wanted the occupy movement but you can’t get the privileged little whiny ones to actually act when it is opposition to their comfort. They are only brave when they are wearing their antifa masks (and then the ones that actually do commit violence seem to be related to dem politicians). It looks like the older Bernie supporters are the ones with the violent revolutionary streak. Oh, and BLM, but usually only when it comes to attacking their own neighborhoods (or the ones they get bussed to).

Resist movement, violence are tearing America apart

The first skirmishes of a second American civil war have begun.

No, this is not a metaphorical analogy to that bloody conflict that killed approximately 620,000 Americans. It is an objective statement of the reality in America.

Since the election of 2016, the left has gone crazy. Their version of the tea party is called Resistance, and the spearhead of that is a loosely formed terrorist group called Antifa. Antifa is short for Anti-Fascist. The irony of their name is not lost on those who actually know history, as their tactics are straight from the fascist playbook.

In the past few months, these groups have repeatedly disrupted peaceful pro-Trump rallies. They have called for and used violence against people who support the president or disagree with them and even against members of the media who will report things Antifa doesn’t want reported.

Just a few days ago, a woman associated with Antifa attacked a police horse, using a flagpole with nails extending from it. At the same incident in Pennsylvania, other Antifa terrorists had sharpened bamboo poles and baseball bats.

Conservatives and those perceived to be conservatives have been attacked. The weapons have included glitter-filled gel, urine bombs, chains, bicycle locks and baseball bats. As their violence becomes more intense, it is now only a question of when, not if, someone will be killed.

Violence is not limited to pro-Trump rallies. The same Antifa group has made college campuses virtually no-go zones for conservatives. Noted conservatives such as Ann Coulter, Milo Yiannopoulos and Ben Shapiro cannot go onto many college campuses to speak without having their events disrupted to the point where they cannot go on.

If this violence continues, the choices are not good. The left-wing academic establishment has quickly surrendered to these groups. They are allowed to riot on campus and even given relief from homework and exams so they can riot.

Is there a solution short of a real, violent civil war in America?

California and Hawaii have recently announced that they would sign agreements with other nations so they could join the Paris climate change accord. Liberal states have this amazing ability to find things in the U.S. Constitution that people haven’t been able to find for over 200 years, but they ignore the plain language of the document that organizes the United States of America.

At this point, is there any way that America can hold together as a single, united country?

When states are wanting to sign their own treaties with other nations and when one-half of the political spectrum in this nation wants to strip the other half of its rights and engage in violence against them, survival seems improbable.

After Donald Trump was elected as president, the hashtag #Calexit started trending on social media. Members of the radical left pushed the idea of California leaving the United States. That idea was tried once before with less-than-great results, but maybe it is time for a peaceful solution that would allow California to leave the Union.

There was a time when Americans, despite their differences, clearly identified as Americans above all else. That time has now passed.

No apologies: ICE chief says illegal immigrants should live in fear of deportation

llegal immigrants should be living in fear of being deported, the chief of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Tuesday, pushing back against a growing sentiment among Democrats on Capitol Hill and activists across the country who have complained about agents enforcing the laws on the books.

Thomas D. Homan, acting director at ICE, said anyone in the country without authorization can be arrested and those who have been ordered deported by judges must be removed if laws are to have meaning.

His comments marked a major shift for an agency that President Obama forbade from enforcing the law when it came to more than 9 million of the country’s estimated 11 million illegal immigrants. Unshackled from Mr. Obama’s strictures, agents have dramatically increased the number of arrests.

Advocacy groups are enraged and demand leniency for “traumatized” immigrants.

      Mr. Homan makes no apologies.

“If you’re in this country illegally and you committed a crime by being in this country, you should be uncomfortable, you should look over your shoulder. You need to be worried,” Mr. Homan testified to the House Appropriations Committee. “No population is off the table.”

Syracuse University Professor Urges Students To “Finish Off” Anti-Sharia Protesters…

A Syracuse University professor recently urged students and colleagues to help “finish…off” the “fascists” who were demonstrating against Sharia law.

According to NPR, the Syracuse rally was marked by tensions between the anti-Sharia protesters—many of whom reportedly dressed in military-style fatigues—and self-styled “anti-fascist” (a.k.a., “antifa”) counter-protesters wearing face masks and carrying flags.

No response that doesn’t send Pelosi and her coven fleeing to caves in fear of their worthless hides is worth the powder to blow it to hell. I’m thinking about starting a GoFundMe page for Ryan so he can buy a pair, a spine, or both.

HuffPo Pulls Article Calling For ‘Ultimate Punishment’ Of Trump

The Huffington Post pulled a piece calling for the “execution” of President Donald Trump published Saturday by contributor Jason Fuller.

Fuller’s piece contained rhetoric and imagery that seems tasteless, particularly after Wednesday’s events. Fuller boldly declares in the title that “Trump must be prosecuted — if convicted in a court of law — executed.” Fuller doesn’t stop there, however, as he insists that “impeachment isn’t enough” to “drain the swamp,” and to do so means doling out the “ultimate punishment [execution]” in order to fully restore the moral compass of the U.S.

Fuller’s “ultimate punishment” is not only reserved for the president, but also for “everyone assisting in his agenda,” including Republican Reps. Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan and White House strategist Steve Bannon. Fuller claims that “all must face justice” by being tried, convicted and ultimately executed for treason.

oh god. I had a roommate who went for her masters in just that program. She was tedious before she started, half way thru she was positively insufferable. You couldn’t talk to the woman about a grocery list. And I was a philosophy major, so you KNOW that was some serious bullshit.

I posted that article last nite. IIRC, it was dated June 11. Too late. It’s in Google archive and all over twitter. Fuller’s editor(s) should be fired and he needs a serious interview by the FBI that takes days, no lawyer allowed, no phone calls, no natural light.

And of course, this dirtbag will keep his Twitter account. As did some pretty nasty characters cheering the assassination attempt on the GOP yesterday. But conservatives are still finding their accounts “shadow” banned and suspended if they utter one word deemed inapprpropriate by the brown shirts of Market Street.

Watching crowds gather on Harrison Street (Oakland) under my office window for the parade today. As of now, not a huge police presence. I’m probably an idiot for worrying, but I remember the evil that was Occupy Oakland.

Of course, this is from a “source” – probably the same source that said Comey was fired for asking for more money. Or that Deputy AG was about to resign. Breaking: CNN Jim Acosta Admits to Faking Sources

CNN’s Jim Acosta Tweeted fake news tonight and has not apologized for his hoaxing.

Acosta Tweeted, “WH official on hospital visit: “President Trump did not meet with Scalise and did not go into the room where Scalise is being treated.”

This was proven to be fake. Trump did visit Scalise. Numerous media outlets condemned Acosta for spreading his fake news.

Acosta then admitted he made up the source. He never spoke to any “White House official.” His source was another White House reporter who sent him an email via press pool. Acosta did not spend any time fact-checking this email before he lied about a fake source.

Snicker snicker, oh man you should have heard my mom rant about these so called journalist today. She utterly despised them. Now mind you, my mom was a genuine real reporter for the Seattle Times back in the late 1950’s. She had a Bachelors Degree in Journalism with a minor in Philosophy.

She had genuine real Journalistic Ethics.

      Who
      What
      Where
      When
      Why
      and sometimes if required How.

More importantly, every story had to be cross verified by at least three creditable sources or it could not be printed/published. Even more importantly, the journalists personal opinions or agenda was never ever allowed to be interjected into anything other than a publicly defined “Opinion Piece” aka a Opinion Column.

In her day, any Journalist that allowed either intentionally or inadvertently themselves to become part of the “Story” found themselves seeking new employment the next day.

She had plenty to say about these modern journalist, most un-reproducible in civilized polite society.

Professor Called For House Republicans To Be ‘Lined Up And Shot’

Just weeks before a gunman shot four people at a Republican congressional baseball practice, a college professor called for Republicans to be “lined up and shot.”

Dr. John Griffin, a professor of Media Arts and Animation at the Art Institute of Washington, decried Republican efforts to repeal Obamacare back on May 4 and posted on Facebook his suggestion to shoot Republican House members. In another post, Griffin used an expletive to refer to the GOP.

“Republicans are a f***ing joke and their voting block runs the gamit [sic] from monstrous to ignorant,” Griffin wrote.

      start checking your toaster

Advanced CIA firmware has been infecting Wi-Fi routers for years

Home routers from 10 manufacturers, including Linksys, DLink, and Belkin, can be turned into covert listening posts that allow the Central Intelligence Agency to monitor and manipulate incoming and outgoing traffic and infect connected devices. That’s according to secret documents posted Thursday by WikiLeaks.

CherryBlossom, as the implant is code-named, can be especially effective against targets using some D-Link-made DIR-130 and Linksys-manufactured WRT300N models because they can be remotely infected even when they use a strong administrative password. An exploit code-named Tomato can extract their passwords as long as a default feature known as universal plug and play remains on. Routers that are protected by a default or easily-guessed administrative password are, of course, trivial to infect. In all, documents say CherryBlossom runs on 25 router models, although it’s likely modifications would allow the implant to run on at least 100 more.

Of course it has. I see where the Warriors are preening now that they won’t go to the White House if invited. Okay, stop inviting them. Maybe these dirtbags should remember that many of their fans voted for the guy they’re spitting on. In fact, I hope Trump doesn’t say anything. I hope he simply doesn’t extend the invitation. No one will notice until the Warriors start complaining that they didn’t get a chance to act like jerks.

      nice

Dozens of congressional staffers erupted into boos, jeers and even vulgar gesticulations Thursday when President Trump appeared in a video at the Congressional Baseball Game at Nationals Park.
      []
One man shouted an expletive at the video screen as Mr. Trump was telling the fans: “We are showing the world we will not be intimidated by threats.”
      []
When both teams went to second base — the symbolic spot where Rep. Steve Scalise was wounded in the attack at the Alexandria practice field — to kneel and pray, some mocked the prayer too. The fans appeared to be Democratic staffers, having booed the announcement of several members of the GOP lineup.

London’s Grenfell Tower Inferno A ‘Disaster Waiting To Happen’ As Green Energy Took Priority

An inferno which engulfed a tower block, killing at least 12 in what could become one of the biggest fire tragedies in British history, was a “disaster waiting to happen”, experts have said.

Fears were raised that green energy concerns were prioritised ahead of safety as it emerged that cladding used to make the building more sustainable could have accelerated the fire. […]

Government ministers were warned about the fire risk of cladding as far back as 1999, the Daily Telegraph can reveal.

It was installed on the council-owned Grenfell block in 2015 as part of a £10 million refurbishment by a company which was later liquidated after a firm they were working with refused to pay out in a dispute over their work.

Tens of thousands of buildings in the UK have been fitted with cladding, it is estimated, leading to calls for an immediate review of safety.

Experts said that the cladding – which is used to insulate the building – had acted like a “chimney” for the flames by allowing the fire to spread upwards through the gaps between the cladding and the building walls.

They’re GREAT to look at. But here’s my problem, and it’s strictly personal preference. If I am going to carry in a purse, the strap has to be cross-body. That is impossible to remove w/o a knife to cut the strap – good luck with that. Depending on the weight of your weapon, carrying from a thin shoulder strap can get uncomfortable, the bag can slip down as you move, you’re not hands-free if you have to hold it, etc. etc.

STATEMENT BY DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL ROD ROSENSTEIN ON ANONYMOUS ALLEGATIONS

WASHINGTON — Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein today issued the following statement:

“Americans should exercise caution before accepting as true any stories attributed to anonymous ‘officials,’ particularly when they do not identify the country — let alone the branch or agency of government — with which the alleged sources supposedly are affiliated. Americans should be skeptical about anonymous allegations. The Department of Justice has a long-established policy to neither confirm nor deny such allegations.

‘Hunt’ Republicans, says Union County Democrat in response to shooting

A longtime Democratic operative from Union County has responded to the Wednesday shooting of a congressman by calling for a “hunt” of Republicans.

James Devine posted several messages on Facebook and Twitter following the Alexandra, Virginia, shooting of U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise and several others by a gunman with a history of violence and of making online rantings against Republican officials and their policies.

“We are in a war with selfish, foolish & narcissistic rich people. Why is it a shock when things turn violent?” Devine posted on social media, ending the message with the hashtag: #HuntRepublicanCongressmen
