I was told on THIS very blog that if Trump were elected the economy would collapse because he did not follow the ‘Pure Way Of The Light’ as foretold by the CONservatives (r) ™. He did not follow the Purity of The Way of The Light’ on Globalism and the sham that is “Free Trade’.  Some of us knew that the economic and trade policies inflicted on America were designed to destroy the Middle Class and make political and economic beggars out of the hoi poli on  Left AND the Right, make EVERYONE dependent on DC and ensure power to the self-appointed elitists/socialists on both sides of the aisle. This decapitation of the economy was Socialism, pure and simple…Socialism on a Global scale and many morons on the right fell for it so that they could remain ideologically ‘pure’ to what they thought Smith and Friedman were saying. Willful ignorance or purposeful misrepresentation, you decide.

Well, the rest of the country decided to say, “here, hold my beer and watch this”. They gave the middle finger to our self-appointed, ideologically pure elitists, and elected Trump. Much to the chagrin and name calling on both the Left and especially the ‘so called’ Right.

Well, LO and BEHOLD! One year in and we are well over 3+% growth and now this:

JOBS TRUMP EXPECTATIONS....
+228,000 NOVEMBER...

2.2 Million New Jobs Since Election...
Record low unemployment rate for manufacturing...
Hispanic unemployment rate drops to 4.7% - LOWEST in history of USA... MORE...

Believe me, NeverTrumpers, the accounting for your errors has not even begun.

And just to spike the football a bit:

Hundreds of ISIS fighters had just been chased out of a northern Syrian city and were fleeing through the desert in long convoys, presenting an easy target to U.S. A-10 “warthogs.”

But the orders to bomb the black-clad jihadists never came, and the terrorists melted into their caliphate — living to fight another day. The events came in August 2016, even as then-Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was vowing on the campaign trail to let generals in his administration crush the organization that, under President Obama, had grown from the “jayvee team” to the world’s most feared terrorist organization.

someone needs to tell the ghetto fabulous half black ex-president that he cant both blame bush for the bad economy and then take credit for Trump’s YUGE econ growth.

it doesnt work that way no matter how hard you play that race card.

What is killing Obama is that all of the dire economic predictions about a Trump Presidency, which he was prepared to expound on with much schadenfreude, have not come to pass. His own administration claimed that the so-called “recession” ended in July 2009 – because blessed Obama had healed the economy. He believed all he had to do was keep printing money and watch the stock market go up. Look at the way they manipulated the way unemployment numbers were calculated in order to show that we had jobs, jobs, jobs. Unfortunately, the non-manipulative factors pointed to a dreadful economy – workforce participation and especially the quarterly GDP. He had maybe 1 or 2 quarters where GDP got near 3 and was then revised downward quietly.

There is nothing in the Obama economy that accounts for this post-election resultant economic growth and while his ass-licking followers believe it (you should see them on Twitter – I feel my IQ goes down 10 points just reading their drivel) and Obama must be inwardly seething at the economic numbers, knowing full well that Trump’s policies are pushing them forward. So of course, his narcissic demand for attention and adulation forces him to jump up and claim credit for it.

I would ask him the same question that I ask his sycophants. “What particular economic policy accounts for this?”

Yep, the NYT link is full of the sycophants praising Obama. Thing is, why did this “recovery” take 8 years and a change in administration before 3% growth? You can’t credit the previous administration. It’s quite different than blaming a president that the economy has not recovered from the condition it was in only one year after taking office. The market improvement to the Trump election is highly correlated. Highly. It started almost immediately after the election.

Puerto Rico gives out $100 million in bonuses after pleading for $94 billion in hurricane relief

Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rossello Nevares last month asked federal taxpayers to shell out $94 billion to pay for the territory’s recovery from Hurricane Maria — then turned around and paid out about $100 million in Christmas bonuses to island government employees.

The governor’s aides say the bonuses are a longstanding tradition and part of the law, and were planned for in the budget approved last summer.
But that budget came well before Hurricanes Irma and Maria slammed into Puerto Rico, leaving much of the territory in ruin and leaving the government begging for federal assistance.

The island’s financial oversight board, created by Congress as part of a deal to bail the government out of a potential debt default last year, called the payments “imprudent” and said the hurricanes should have forced the governor to rethink his decisions.

And the payments could dent Mr. Rossello Nevares’ efforts to get Capitol Hill to pony up for the recovery, where the $94 billion price tag the island has set is already meeting with shock.

If I have to pick up bennies, I’m not going to be making much at all (they’re much more expensive).

Good evening everyone! Here’s an update….
Well, they did not get it all. I’ve been referred to see the oncologists at the Spectrum Health Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion in 10 days. There will be 2 doctors and a number of support staff who I get to sit down with to discuss the Bad-Ass Chemo treatment.
The first two questions out of my mouth will be: OK where is it, exactly! and What Stage is it? I want to see pix! And I’ll be taking my laptop with me, I want to take copious notes!
So, I ask for your continued prayers. Thanks.

In today’s edition of “I Read This Crap So You Don’t Have To”, we have Dave Weigel of the Washington Post. Dave was hired by WaPo some years ago as a ‘conservative blogger’ in a failed attempt to convince people they are an unbiased media outlet. He resigned from that position in 2010 after getting nailed for private msgs disparaging conservatives. But WaPo kept him on the payroll and he covers Trump. Don’t know if you saw Trump’s speech in Pensacola last nite, but it was a barn burner. Not according to Weigel, tho, who posted photos of a near-empty venue as indicative of the event. He did not tell anyone that the pics were pre-arrival. He got nailed, apologized, deleted the tweets, you know the drill. Another ‘honest mistake’ that is duly forgiven with the issue of a totally crap apology.

As people on WZ were saying, it’s funny that in all of these “mistakes”, “errors”, “mis-statements”, none of them are ever favorable to Trump, they are always disparaging. Once is an accident, twice a coincidence, three times is enemy action.

2-3 days after Syria. We’ll see. The survivors have to go somewhere.

I have more stuff to do, can’t stay, but just a heads up for the upcoming week in the revolution.

It seems that wiki/Trump email that tripped up CNN – because they let someone read it to them over the phone as Sept 4 instead of Sept 14 – was leaked to them by someone on the House Intel Comm. Because no one else had it – Trump Jr didn’t even know he had it, never read it, it was just in all the docs he turned over.

Prime suspects are Adam Schiff and Eric Salwell. Or their staff. Personally, I think it was staff. I think someone transcribed the email by hand – those docs are evidence and chain of custody stuff, etc. – and mis-wrote the date. If you see the actual email, there is NO mistaking the date, no way.

meh. The way things have been going, it will probably be forgotten in the wake of some new mini-scandal next week.
