but seriously, this saccone guy is a dud. the GOP needs to stop running these guys. there is no reason why potus had to come here to rally for him.

Good morning. Saw Trump rally last night. He is entertaining and that is powerful.
I am sure that the media is in full outrage about his comments about them. But they drew first blood and they
are not used to people fighting back, and worse he does it with a mocking sense of humor.

The GOP at the level of the states is still sclerotic, trying to find the next Jeb!, instead of allowing the next disruptor. Virginia is a frigging mess, NY is worse.

Here is Salena Zito, THE best political reporter around

Saccone has been criticized, often without context, for his lack of prowess on the campaign trail, with whispers ranging from his lack of connectivity with voters to his inability to personally raise money.

On the connectivity they’ve largely missed how the elusive Saccone interacts with voters at town hall meetings, VFW’s, and other campaign events; he lacks Lamb’s youth and charm, but could make up for that in his dogged determination and depth of details on constituent services.

“Saccone could simply be buoyed by Trump’s visit and reminders of what he has accomplished since taking office and why he needs a Republican to hold the seat,” said Paul Sracic, political science professor at Youngstown State University.

Sracic said Trump did not need to spend the entire rally talking about Saccone, instead he needs to remind voters why he needs them by talking about his accomplishments.

W seems clueless. Right after 9/11 Vincente Fox pitched a hissy fit that Trump was walking back their open borders

Big Mike: “Trump single-handedly converted DACA and the DREAMERs from a Democrat issue they could use to beat him about the head and shoulders into one that is getting Democrat candidates picketed and attacked in the Hispanic community.”

The lefty Chappaquiddick crew is reduced to the following campaign themes for 2018:

    1) Stormy Daniels
    2) Impeachment
    3) Give back your tax cuts you stupid deplorables
    4) Give up all your guns you stupid deplorables
    5) Leave our violent illegal alien criminals alone!
    6) Shut up whitey

Can’t speak to Detroit, but this really doesn’t sound like N.O. Yeah, I know I’m the white chick, but when it comes to race relations, the place I know is pretty laid back

Zurawik appeared during Stelter’s second panel dedicated to whining about the President, and he bitterly declared that “we’re amusing ourselves to death.” According to him, “we lose our ability to function as rationally informed citizens every time we chuckle or smile at something he says!”

“What he did at that rally, April [Ryan] is so right. It’s evil and the stuff he said about Chuck Todd is dangerous, but too many people are smiling at it, and even some are applauding. Very dangerous,”

I have this feeling that their internal polling is showing that if there’s a blue wave in November, it’ll be a Tsunami drowning the Democrats.

Rush reported Friday that it looks like huge Republican leads in six of the currently held Democrat Senate seats. And that Trump’s approval rating in these states is higher than the national average.

Oh and MSM? No one gives two s**ts about Stormy Daniels. And saying this is an impeachable offense is ridiculous. Bill Clinton was not impeached because he sorta boinked an intern. He was impeached for PERJURY and the subbornation of PERJURY. Trump wasn’t President when Stormy the Attention Whore and he were palling around…..and even if he was, did I miss an oath being administered?

Oh, and one more thing…aren’t you Dems the ones that told us sex was a private affair and if Hillary didn’t have a problem, why did we? Near as I can tell, Melania isn’t throwing ashtrays and going on TV about a vast MSM conspiracy.

Good God, I hope she gets backed over by a beer truck doing 60.

Hillary is in India telling everybody how racist we are

‘I win the coasts, I win Illinois, Minnesota, places like that,’ she told her audience of Indian business leaders.

Then she came up with a new metric. ‘But what the map doesn’t show you is that I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s Gross Domestic Product,’ she said.

So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward. And his whole campaign – “Make America Great Again” was looking backwards,’ Clinton said.

She continued: ‘You know, you didn’t like black people getting rights. You don’t like women getting jobs, you don’t want to see that Indian American succeeding more than you are – whatever your problem is, I’m gonna solve it,’ she said, characterizing Trump.

‘So it was a symptom but it was also a cause because having someone run for president who voices those ideas, who rejects so much of the American story and our values was also the underlying cause as well,’ she said.

especially on the 2nd step, there appeared to be some substance on the stair that she stepped in and slipped on. Slipping going DOWN is a very different dynamic than falling going UP, so wouldn’t be certain there’s much equivalency there. If anything, I’m thinking there’s something wrong with her sight the prevented her from seeing where the step going down actually was. She’s 4 yrs older than am, and I can tell you, unless you practice exercises designed to keep it, your sense of balance deteriorates pretty quick starting in your late 50s. Just comparing her to myself and other women I know in our age group, she seems a bit older than the rest of us. But I admire her stamina, I haven’t got it.
