See? I TOLD you they lie. Our forecast says right now it’s “33 but it feels like 23”. No. It’s 23 you wankers, there’s no 33. High is supposed to be 49 but it will feel like 33. Oh spare me. You’re just hiding the data to keep up the globular warming hoax.

In other news, it occurs to me that Mark Suckerberger’s chances of running for POTUS are slightly worse than mine. Also, he looks like a prototype of Data (Star Trek: Next Generation)

That interview was recorded in 2016 and she knew about Cambridge Analytica then? hunh.

    This part, tho, is risable.

Clinton continued: ā€œSo if they were getting advice from, letā€™s say, Cambridge Analytica or someone else about, ā€˜OK, here are the 12 voters in this town in Wisconsin ā€” thatā€™s whose Facebook pages you need to be on to send these messages,ā€™ that indeed would be very disturbing.ā€

United fucks up again. With the MILITARY, no less.

How stupid do you have to be to run a multi-billion dollar company?

Military families on Guam moving to the U.S. mainland may be forced to leave their pets behind, following United Airlinesā€™ decision to suspend its pet transportation program until no later than May 1, following multiple delivery mistakes and at least one pet death.

United is the only carrier flying directly between the island and the mainland U.S., according to families there, some of whom took to social media Wednesday to say they felt blindsided by Unitedā€™s announcement.

    Citi Statement

Announcing Our U.S. Commercial Firearms Policy

Under this new policy, we will require new retail sector clients or partners to adhere to these best practices: (1) they donā€™t sell firearms to someone who hasnā€™t passed a background check, (2) they restrict the sale of firearms for individuals under 21 years of age, and (3) they donā€™t sell bump stocks or high-capacity magazines. This policy will apply across the firm, including to small business, commercial and institutional clients, as well as credit card partners, whether co-brand or private label. It doesn’t impact the ability of consumers to use their Citi cards at merchants of their choice.

I hope that the military will allow competition on the Guam route. BUT not that old time operator Continental. They had so many really dangerous and operationally shonky issues. The whole of the Pacific operators used to give Continental operators ‘extra space by off-setting tracks and adding a couple of hundred feet to altitudes to give us more chance of not having a mid air collision with some Continental ‘cowboys’ flying at the wrong altitudes to save fuel. Those bastards were lethal.

One night a dispatch engineer in Auckland refused to sigh off a Continental aircraft because he discovered that the floor of a rear toilet had been replaced by a piece of plywood and the structural members were corroded by the blue toilet flush that was leaking everywhere and for a loooong time in the aircraft’s rear structure. Continental got a tame Senator to pressure the FAA to allow the aircraft to return to the US without getting an engineering clearance but with a full load of passengers aboard as well !

    That is criminal !

Chris Liddel is the new Deputy Chief . I’m not sure of his credentials as he appears to be a typical establishment type. An old by of Mt. Albert Grammar School here in Auckland. One of six kids brought up by a widowed mother. I know his brother very well. He’s a major and 2IC of an infantry Battalion in NZ. Good guy and a great family that pulled themselves up with their own boot-straps. what the actual fuck?

Guccifer 2.0, the ā€œlone hackerā€ who took credit for providing WikiLeaks with stolen emails from the Democratic National Committee, was in fact an officer of Russiaā€™s military intelligence directorate (GRU), The Daily Beast has learned. Itā€™s an attribution that resulted from a fleeting but critical slip-up in GRU tradecraft.

That forensic determination has substantial implications for the criminal probe into potential collusion between President Donald Trump and Russia. The Daily Beast has learned that the special counsel in that investigation, Robert Mueller, has taken over the probe into Guccifer and brought the FBI agents who worked to track the persona onto his team.

Breaking: Terrorist Attack At Travis Air Force Base

A car loaded with propane tanks ran through the main gate at Travis Air Force Base in northern California on Wednesday night. Military personnel ran up to the burning car that exploded in flame after breaching the security gates.

In video posted on an Air Force forum on Facebook, firefighters are seen attempting to put out the flames.

Law enforcement sources say the car carried propane tanks and the driver deliberately ignited the fire. He died inside the car, which drove off the road into a ditch. There are no reports of shots fired during the incident. The driver has been identified by law enforcement but not been named.

The card holders are the ones at the end of the transaction line however.

If business wants to dabble in politics then they will find pretty quickly that they are only servicing 50 % of the population which in turnover terms means they go out of business or are forced to retrench and downsize which opens the market for more agile non-political competitors to enter the marketplace.

Smells like suicide on Citibank’s behalf. Maybe they should have been left to die in the ditch back in 2008 by the taxpayers.

I have an interview tomorrow at Royal Caribbeanā€™s call center. It pays a bit more than Iā€™m making now. On Monday I have the big interview at the power company for their call center, which pays a lot more. The RC job could start as early as 4/9, no idea on the other one.

Debating if I get offered the job with RC, and it starts 4/2, if itā€™s fair to them to suddenly back out if the power company job comes through.

Possible interview today at the current company, too.

I’ve been responsible for staffing teams and believe me, it happens. If possible, I’d come up with a counter-offer to keep the person if they were that good, if not, life goes on. Everybody understands the first responsibility is to family and the career that supports it. ‘Fair’ is a luxury. Good luck, no guilt.

RINOS are what the GOPe produce and protect. So the answer is no.

I think the more interesting/important fight will be on the Hill among the Jim Jordan/Dave Bratt crew and the Ryan/McConnell imbedded crooks.

Just a loose thought rattling around: this military funding thing. I know it’s been neglected for too long but I’m wondering if there’s some urgency we’re not aware of that Mattis, et.al., are. And that put the fear of the Almighty into Trump to get this ball rolling now because we’re going to need this military sooner than we’d like.
