A Cigar Review and a Little Bit of Politics.

This last weekend I decided to try a new cigar. This cigar is a MUWAT (My Uzi Weighs A Ton) Kentucky Fire Cured Swamp Thang. This is put out by Drew Estate as part of their MUWAT line and their Kentucky Fire Cured Sub-line. This is one of the more unique cigars out there due to it’s combination of Kentucky Fire Cured tobacco and a dual wrapped wrapper featuring a brilliant green candela wrapper and a fire cured wrapper, the transition masked by the band. The candela imparts a sweeter smoke to the campfire like qualities of the fire cured wrapper. Unfortunately Drew Estate is keeping silent on the composition of the filler and binder. I can assume, through experience that the tobaccos used in this cigar are probably exclusively Nicaraguan. The cigars are manufactured in the Esteli region of Nicaragua in the Joya De Nicaragua factory, the oldest continually operating factory in Nicaragua.

Upon removing the cigar from the cello my first impression is of wood smoke. It has a very strong campfire like smell and a slight earthiness. The cigar lights well and cleanly, the burn remains clean and straight until the end of the smoke. Throughout the cigar there is a flavor of smoke, smoked meat (unusually), and a bit of sweetness, similar to a good barbecue rub that isn’t overpowering, just a light touch of sweet on the back of the tongue. I paired it with an unsweetened iced tea. Unlike some cigars I have tried, this one didn’t really change much during the smoke. It was not bad, but I would rather stick with the 180 Smoke weed vaporizers. It remained a good, medium to full body smoke, beginning to end. It was neither the weakest cigar I’ve tried nor the strongest. This is a cigar that won’t make you dizzy, but will leave you with a pleasant taste. I don’t think it would be my every day smoke, but for a once in a while cigar, it’s perfect. I also have a Swamp Rat resting in my humidor for a future smoke.

On to politics. Meghan McCain may have finally realize the reason she is on the View. It’s not so she can speak, it’s so they can claim to be “fair” because they have a “conservative”. After reading about her performance, this is all I could think of.

Here is the relevant article.
‘View’ Shuts Down Meghan McCain After She Brings Up Clinton Funded Dossier

Monday on ABC’s The View, things got heated when discussing the breaking news that morning about ex-Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort had been indicted by FBI special counsel Robert Mueller. After announcing the news, the audience cheered as the panel joked that they hoped President Trump would be next. As co-host Meghan McCain brought up Hillary Clinton’s funding of the Russian dossier, co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar angrily shut her down, insisting that Democrats and Clinton had nothing to do with any Russia collusion.

Whoopi chuckled while announcing the news that Paul Manafort had been indicted by the FBI this morning. The audience roared in approval as The View producers played a fake clip of President Trump being arrested by the FBI.

Clash of Clowns: Chris Christie vs. Meghan McCain

2 of the most despicable people in the GOP are Chris Christie and Meghan McCain. Both are beloved by Progressive becasue of how they treat those on the Right. Both are attention whores and believe they are the center of the universe. Therefore, the clash between the 2 does not shock me at all as egotists tend to turn on each other.

In a rare moment of sanity, Meghan McCain calls out Chris Christie for caring about himself and not his Party. She is right and a perfect example of that was what he did in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. With a week to go in the election and the polls showing Obama and Romney tied, Christie embraced Obama with a photo op and stuck the knife in Romney’s back. This ended any momentum Romney had and gave Obama the advantage he needed to win the election.

Chris Christie did not take too kindly to Meghan McCain’s very rare astute observation and goes ballistic on her in typical fake Guido style.

Tuesday, the younger McCain told CNN’s Piers Morgan that she was “over” Christie’s presumed 2016 candidacy. Current polls put Christie at the head of a crowded field of potential 2016 Republican contenders.

“I’m kind of done with Chris Christie right now,” McCain said.

She referred to Christie’s 2012 GOP convention speech that barely mentioned nominee Mitt Romney. “There’s some level of self-promotion that you have to do, but I would like the next leader of the Republican Party, the next nominee to maybe be a little more interested in helping the country than just their platform.”

For his part, Christie, who is currently running for reelection, was dismissive of McCain’s comments.

“Are we really going to be responding to Meghan McCain?” Christie said, referring to the entire episode as “sophomoric.”

Christie said that he would take a call or criticism from McCain’s father. But Meghan McCain holds no office and doesn’t live in New Jersey.

“Meghan McCain has no standing to be criticizing me,” Christie said.

“I’m not going to respond to somebody just because of their last name.”

I am no fan of Meghan McCain, but I agree with her criticism of  Chris Christie. He is out for himself and a backstabbing scumbag who helped re-elect Obama with his photo-ops. Chris Christie in his dismissive tone of her shows how much of a thin skinned low life he is.

John McCain should be standing up for his daughter against the Jersey Bully. But he is to busy going after Ted Cruz. Nice priorities you have there Senator.

Meghan McCain blames Hurricane Sandy on Global Warming

Many on the Left are blaming global warming for Hurricane Sandy. They act as if Hurricanes have never hit the Northeast. Yes it is rare, but it has nothing to do with Global Warming. Following in the footsteps of her senile and Islamic terrorist loving  father, Meghan McCain agrees with the Progressive narrative. She blames Sandy on Global Warming and chides Republicans for not agreeing with this lie.

Meghan is known more for her boobs than her brain. She’s really an idiot but then again apples don’t fall far from the tree! Expect her to run for her father’s Senate seat in 2016!

Christine O’Donell and the Celebrity politician

by Phantom Ace ( 6 Comments › )

Christine O’Donnell is the epitome of a political loser. She ran for Senator in Delaware and lost 3 times. Sarah Palin who was her mentor, wants nothing to do with her. O’Donnell’s book tour is flopping as well. Although this article is written by Meghan McCain, she actually is right about O’Donnell. Like Obama, she’s a celebrity politician.

News has been filtering out all week about the mess of a book tour Christine O’Donnell has been on. Her book Troublemaker: Let’s Do What It Takes to Make America Great Again reportedly has sold only 2,200 copies and only five people showed up at a book signing she held in Naples, Fla., with one person coming only to ask her to sign a book on demonology. While promoting her book, she generated a flurry of publicity by walking off Piers Morgan’s show on CNN, because she said she was being “sexually harassed” by Morgan when he started asking her about gay marriage.

[….]

O’Donnell is the result of an epidemic within politics today. She’s a politician that can gather international media attention by using cheap tricks and publicity stunts with little to no substance or experience to back it up. This is a woman who at one point was getting so much attention, that Saturday Night Live cold opened an episode with a parody of one of her campaign ads.

The idea of the celebrity politician is nothing new, and depending on one’s perspective, either President Obama or Sarah Palin are the country’s first celebrity politicians. But O’Donnell is our first “fad” politician, meaning she is a politician whose moment is fleeting but intense and memorable for all of the wrong reasons.

O’Donnell isn’t to be completely blamed for what happened to her. She was promoted and lauded for her association with Tea Party values yet not vetted in the way someone seriously considering running for Senate should be. The result is a not-ready-for-primetime candidate who proceeds to make rookie mistakes, all the while embarrassing their party and themselves and proving to everyone what most knew all along—they are unelectable. Style and media attention have come to outweigh issues and substance. The media feeds into it, and these politicians who aren’t prepared and seasoned enough make fools of themselves.

Christine O’Donnell is a loon and hopefully she goes away.
