UTEP at Tennessee – Sat, Sep 15, 12:00 PM ET – UTEP is a 31 point dog at Rocky Top. UTEP has an excellent mining and explosives school. Yeah, that wont help. The Vols beat this spread and take out their frustrations on the Miners.
Georgia Tech at Pittsburgh – Sat, Sep 15, 12:30 PM ET – My beloved Panthers are 4 point dogs at home against the Yellow Jackets….4000 seats remain unsold at $5 a piece. At least at old Pitt stadium there was a great crowd and if they started to get blown out you could walk down to Zelda’s Greenhouse and get smashed on .25 drafts. I think Pitt can eat this spread, this will be a great test of team fortitude after the ass beating last week.
#12 LSU at #7 Auburn – Sat, Sep 15, 3:30 PM ET – Vegas is giving LSU 10. nope. They beat that spread on the road.
#17 Boise State at #24 Oklahoma State – Sat, Sep 15, 3:30 PM ET – This might be the game of the week, The smurfs are getting 1 point on the road at OSU. Brett Rypien is a name you will need to watch, this kid will play on Sunday and Boise beats the spread on the road.
SFA at Incarnate Word – Sat, Sep 15, 7:00 PM ET – There is no line for this game, nor should there be. You can’t bet against God, the Sisters of Charity would be VERY DISPLEASED. You wanna piss off a nun? Go ahead, I dare you.
#4 Ohio State at #15 TCU – Sat, Sep 15, 8:00 PM ET – The Buckeyes have to look good and win this game or it will come back to haunt them. TCU must win this game or no playoffs for them. TCU has to win, OSU has to win big. The line is 13 on average in he big Vegas houses. This is Urban Meyer’s last week of suspension for some bullshit…OSU is pissed off and will beat this spread, in Texas.
#22 USC at Texas – Sat, Sep 15, 8:00 PM ET – OH MAN! these two hate each other and have only played against each other twice, both games were great. The 2006 Rose Bowl is a classic. USC has a freshman QB, JT Daniels, this kid is the real deal. He’s still getting his legs under him and now he gets a start at Austin, in front of those rabid fans. THis is the big time JT, this is why you signed on with USC. Vegas has USC as a 3 point favorite, They beat this spread on the road.
#23 Arizona State at San Diego State – Sat, Sep 15, 10:30 PM ET – Herm Edwards has the Sun Devils at 2-0 with an upset, called by yours truly, last week against MSU. The Sun Devils are for real. They are 5 point favorites at SDSU and beat that spread.

I was flying out of San Antonio Thursday and there were some Domers at the gate. We got talking one guy said., ” I love everything about Norte Dame except Coackh Kelly.
