The Circus Starts at 0945.

Let’s hope the GOP grew a spine and puts an end to this sort of behavior.

*UPDATE: SENATOR LINDSEY GRAHAM GREW A SPINE AND A SET TODAY!***

Well played, Sir! Well played!

The Dems are now standing justice on it’s head. Mr Coons one of the more annoying Dems is saying that Kavanaugh must prove his innocence. Like the rest of them he says that innocent until proven guilty does not apply because this is not a court. of law. What they ignore is that the principle comes from centuries of Western sense of justice.
Ok, I accuse Mr Coons of having sex with a dead goat. Let him prove that he didn’t.

Brian Fallon outed himself and all of the Dems. This is a strategy to protect the Court from Trumps “far right friends”
The whole thing is to make the Democrat Party election proof to advance their agenda via the Court.

I’m still not all that convinced that Swethog wasn’t a last-minute replacement for Avenutti when he knew that he’d been punked by 4Chan. He was evasive when asked when he was retained by her, and her declaration is dated September 25th. AFTER Kavanaugh’s calendars were released (on 9/24).

Now Kamala Harris, or as I call her, Senator Spread Your Legs, has another ANONYMOUS allegation letter from a Jane Doe in Orange Country that Kavanaugh took part in a gang rape of her in a car. Well, Trump’s accuser came from Southern California. Maybe she’s having a second go at it.

If it’s true that the Senate Judicial investigators have found and interviewed the two men who are willing to come forward to clear Kavanaugh with regard to Ford, this might prove interesting. Dems are bitching, of course, that they are being “surprised” with this information. Except, the SJC Republicans asked them if they wanted to be on the call – they said no.

Listening to Chris Wallace “it was so raw, so emotional”. Have these people not be around humans? It wasn’t raw, it wasn’t emotional, it was straightforward, and Mitchell has to get her ass on the move. Britt Hume’s “this is a disaster for the Republicans” is eating the cake before it goes into the oven.

This reality show is on almost every freaking channel. I cannot watch it. Thank you hearty few who are commenting on the OJ Simpson trial in progress, because it’s like walking into a plague zone of the mind.

Over 17 years ago my sister & her daughter were shopping at an over priced boutique called “Anthropologie”. There was a T shirt for sale that said “Boys are stupid. Throw rocks at them.” This current travesty is another example of ongoing mass brainwashing.

I think by this point you understand that the whole FBI thing is a ruse to delay the confirmation vote and find more fuel, so your question is really why doesn’t he give himself the points of looking good and agreeing to it.

He agreed to do whatever the committee wanted. He won’t put his name on THAT specific item because it’s a lie and he’s an honorable guy. Whether he goes down or not, there are some things they can take from him, and there are some things only he can give up. His integrity is one of them.

    @ doriangrey:

Not only that, the FBI has stated that they will not investigate this. This is now a matter under state law. The FBI’s role in this process is complete. Ford is being cagey in this regard herself. What she should have done, when Kavanaugh nomination was announced, was given the information she had to the FBI. I loved her answer when asked “Well…..I thought about giving it to the FBI or the White House….but, I really didn’t know how to do it”

It’s called a PHONE, Ms. Ph.D. You pick it up. You call the FBI office in San Jose and ask them how to submit it. You never wanted these claims really investigated.

35% of the population will hate him because he is a trump nominee. big deal.

this was a stunt to delay his placement on the court until after the mid-terms that the dems pray that they can win, but they won’t.

besides, he has already been investigated by the FBI 5 times for his various positions and had a very high clearance. I carried a clearance that hight, believe me, the DIA and FBI went over everything i did in school all the way down to interviewing the nun who taught elementary catechism and kindergarten to an extensive two hour long with my girlfriend and her parents and her brother and sister.

these guys do not fuck around, nor do they miss ANYTHING, ever. ive been through the process, he’s been through it several times. besides, its not the FBI’s job to investigate this at this point anyway.

OK, so I watched as much as I could of the hearing while at work today. Internet is primitive and kept dropping out. Phone is a Walmart $49 thing.

Saw the part when he started talking about his father and calendars when he emotionally lost it, and I lost the internet again.

When internet came back I googled his father thinking the memory of his deceased father caused his tears. His father is still alive, so what triggered Kavanaugh’s emotions?

At home now so internet is better. Watched Kavanaugh’s opening statement from youtube.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRmGxgxMhO4

He loses it at the 10 min mark when he talks about his mother, at about 12:40 min as he mentions his 10 year old daughter and the one that made me find his opening statement was at 21:00 min when he really lost it, talking about his father.

This ordeal has obviously severely traumatized him. Any thoughts or references to his family and he loses it.

I hadn’t thought of this one

As I watch Dr. Ford be interviewed by Prosecutor Rachel Mitchell about the polygraph, I notice how nervous Ford is and how little she knows about a polygraph. The woman is a psychologist and knows nothing about a polygraph? She says that a machine was placed near her with wires and acts very naive about what it does and what to expect.

What PhD psychologist knows nothing about a polygraph? The American Psychological Association has been writing about them for years and many psychologists do not believe in their use. Why is she so in the dark about them? Is this to make herself seem childlike and innocent? Or is she that naive and uninformed?

She isn’t even remotely ignorant about them. She affects being ignorant because as any competent psychologist will tell you, the reason the polygraphs are inadmissible as evidence is that anyone can be trained to fool a polygraph machine.

Christine Blasey-Ford is a CIA Psychological Operations Instructor. What that means, is she teaches CIA operatives to fool polygraphs as well as withstand and endure aggressive interrogations.

    @ doriangrey:

I know how polygraphs work. As in if you work with electronics and you need to measure the value of a resistor you can hold the probe to one lead of it with your finger but you must not touch the other lead or you are measuring YOUR resistance not the resistor.

    Point of this post?

Having someone take a polygraph test on the day of, or day after ( she can’t even remember that ) your grandmothers funeral is not the best idea.

I would think there would be too many other emotional and stress factors involved the results would be unpredictable

The “FBI question” is moot. Kavanaugh agreed to participate if an FBI investigation was called for by the confirmation committee, but rape charges are not in the jurisdiction of the FBI.

I suppose he could ask for one, and he could also ask to be waterboarded.

Now we will see just how corrupt the Senate is.

Christine Blasey-Ford apparently committed perjury multiple times yesterday.

Dianne Feinstein basically accused her of it when she rebutted Sen Cruz’ s allegation that either she or one of her staffers had leaked the Ford letter to the media. “Saying it must have been leaked by Blasey-Ford or one of her friends”.

Then there is the matter of Blasey-Fords 2 front doors, which was the justification she gave for seeing a family therapist asserting that it was a contentious issue between her and her husband that arose consequential to the remolding of their house in 2012.

Except that the permit for the 2 front doors was pulled in 2008, four years prior. That 2nd door was not because Brett Kavanaugh made her feel claustrophobic as she claimed, it was because it is the door to a rental apartment in her house.

For a very detailed and well documented case about the CIA Black Bank which is interesting reading, see this article from Impious Digest:

An intriguing in-depth new Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) report circulating in the Kremlin today states that a Stanford University Psychiatry Professor named Dr. Christine Blasey has become the latest centerpiece of a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) plot to harm President Trump with her last-minute allegation, just days prior to US Senate confirmation, that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh had attempted to sexually assault her over 30 years ago when they were teenage school children—while being kept from the American people about Dr. Blasey is that she currently oversees the CIA Undergraduate Internship Program Stanford University developed by the notorious CIA-connected Stanford University Psychiatric Professor Dr. Frederick T. Melges—who himself, in 1985, took into his care the homeless woman Lois Lang who assassinated CIA paymaster Nick Deak—and that afterwards saw the CIA’sblack operations monies being controlled by Ralph G. Blasey Jr.—who, not so mysteriously, just happens to be the father of Dr. Christine Blasey.

Paul Sperry was the source I saw for that story last nite and he’s very very good. I’m cautious for these reasons:

    – she did mention they have Google interns living with them
    – because one permit was pulled under a particular category, doesn’t mean another wasn’t issued later for something else
    – it’s California, fer chrissakes, they’d nail her for a silverfish in the sink to cause delay
    – it is SO easily disprovable, it would be the one time she said anything for which there is evidence. The woman claims she can’t remember if the polygraph was administered on the day of her grandmother’s funeral or the next.

So, I’m holding my fire on this one.

  104. 105 | September 28, 2018 12:00 pm

    eaglesoars wrote:

    – because one permit was pulled under a particular category,

The permit pulled was for a rental property on residence. In California those are difficult to get. Yes, I have done a lot of construction work here. That’s not a permit you just casually apply for and then go… Oh… oppsie, I can’t qualify for that permit.

That is a permit that your contractor has to apply for, the homeowner cannot apply for it. The contractor will tell you right up front whether your residence can be brought up to code to qualify for that permit.

It is a difficult permit to obtain because of California’s Renter’s rights laws.

I will go so far as to speculate that her admission that she had Google Interns staying at her house is a clear admission that that permit not only was approved, but that she has a income rental property on residence.

    doriangrey wrote:

To clarify, to qualify for that permit, the intended rental property has to have completely separate utility services. I.e., it must have its own Gas, Electrical and Water/Sewage metering services. It also has to have specific separate marked parking and a separate designated Postal address. Plus… It has to be Handicap/Wheelchair accessible.

These can be impossible to add on to a very significant percentage of single family dwellings.

    eaglesoars wrote:

Typically less than 6 months, more like 3. 4 years later? Not with the city or county. Whatever reason they went to marital counseling, it had nothing to do with her being traumatized as a teenager.

What they had added on to their house was not a secondary emergency exit. It was an income property rental unit on residence. One of the requirements for such a door, is that it has to fit within one of two specific narrow parameters.

The key parameter, is it has to be separate from the main residence. That can be accomplished in two different ways. It can open into a common foyer or vestibule, otherwise it has to be completely separate such as a side entrance off a portico.

Since there are 2 “Front doors” that indicates that the second door is in fact a separate entrance off of a portico. A portico typically being the rather largish front porch with column supports and an overhanging roof.

So this second door either has a separating wall dividing it from the rest of the foyer and residence, or it leads directly to a separated stairway.

Casa Fernandez offers the some of the finest authentic Cuban-seed, handmade cigars on the market, and is one of the largest tobacco producers in Central America. Their tobacco is also used by some of the most highly acclaimed brands out there, and the company controls everything from growing to the entire production process to ensure its quality. Rated ‘92′ by Cigar Aficionado, Casa Fernandez Miami also earned a spot on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 List in 2011.

Hand rolled in the Casa Fernandez Factory in Miami, this 100% Nicaraguan puro utilizes a variety of authentic Cuban seeds, and high-quality tobacco leaf, from their unique farms and growing regions in Nicaragua. The blend is comprised of Medio Tiempo maduro, ligero, and viso from specific Aganorsa farms in the Jalapa Valley, Condega Valley, and Esteli. This super-premium blend is medium to full-bodied with ample notes of cedar, spice, and pepper on the finish.

Mine is wrapped in Connecticut shade grown leaf. this is absolutely terrific and I am thoroughly impressed. Terrific medium body cigar. This brand will be purchased again, this was my first one.

not necessarily. Flake’s yes was contigent on an FBI investigation before the floor vote. If McConnell doesn’t agree to that, wavering votes could crash and you better believe Schumer is going to be busy. Not to mention, if McConnell goes along with it, a week is long enough to come up with another accuser or problem, tax returns, illegal nanny, etc, who knows.

Although, since he’s going to miss the beginning of the term anyway, there’s a part of me that almost would like to see an FBI investigation. Imagine Ford opening one of those two front doors of hers to see an San Jose Office agent standing there to conduct an interview of her, reminding her that lying to an FBI agent carries criminal penalties. She runs to the phone, calls Deborah Katz, pleading “no one told me that they were going to interview ME!!” Katz then tells her that her legal representation extended only to the end of the hearing and that she should call Bromwich, who tells her the same thing, and that she better find local counsel. FBI says clock is ticking, you have 24 hours.

Rinse and repeat for Ramirez and Swetnick.

Grassely called the vote, the democrats said… “Wait, what the hell did we just vote for?” Flake said, I only asked for a gentleman’s and Ladies agreement not an amendment. The democrats got rolled and Flake did it by misleading them into sitting for the quorum.

  125. 126 | September 28, 2018 3:01 pm

    @ eaglesoars:

I’m rather bemused. Democrats, Ford, Ramirez and Avenutti all calling for an “FBI Investigation” knowing full well that the FBI has already said not in their jurisdiction…..

Trump calls Kavanaugh on the down low – “Brett, let me ask you – would YOU have any problem if I indeed asked the FBI to investigate this – I want to do it to clear your name.” Kavanugh says no, he has no problem with an investigation, none at all. He’ll be happy to cooperate.

Trump announces that he has requested the FBI to investigate the claims of Ford, Ramirez and Swetnick, but because they did not come forward at the time the nomination was made, he has asked them to conclude their investigation by October 10th. They have said they will do so. He announces that he assumes that the accusers will be more than happy to cooperate with the FBI as soon as possible.

I imagine DiFi, Harris, Katz, Bromwich and Avenutti will be getting some desperate phone calls. “You told [us] the FBI had no jurisdiction and would never be investigating this!!!”

I should also add, had the democrats continued to refuse to be seated for the quorum, the 2 hour rule would have expired and the nomination would not have been voted out of committee and on to a full house vote.

The ball is now in McConnell’s hands, he does not have to ask for a 1 week delay or an additional FBI investigation, he can call a full vote at any time he so chooses. He could call the vote for conformation for tomorrow afternoon if he wants or even tonight if he wants.

Hey in happy news, the “Murphy Brown” premier last night was a dud. 15% of the lead in audience from “Mom” left when it came on.

7.4 million viewers and a 1.1 ratings share; contrast this with the “Roseanne” premier ealier this year, which had 18 million viewers and a 5.1 ratings share. Oh, and it had Hillary Clinton as a surprise guest.

Note to CBS: Everyone knows precisely why you resurrected this show – to have a weekly go at bashing Trump, Republicans, the TEA Party and the NRA under the guise of comedy. You still don’t get why “Roseanne” was hit – it wasn’t the fact it was a relaunch.

Fox is relaunching “Last Man Standing” tonight after ABC cancelled it because Tim Allen was a Trump supporter and it was pro right wing. My thinking is it’s going to be a big hit there too.

    DAMMIT!!!!

    https://www.golf.com/leaderboard/2018/pga/ryder-cup

Captain Jim Furyk and his U.S. team have a long night of strategizing ahead.

The Americans didn’t just get swept 4-0 in afternoon foursome matches for the first time at the Ryder Cup, they got walloped.

Sergio Garcia and Alex Noren beat Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau 5 and 4 as the Europeans took a 5-3 lead on the first day of the biennial competition. It was a huge turnaround for the Euros, who were 1-3 in the morning fourballs.

It was the first shutout in any session since 1989.

Garcia made Thomas Bjorn look brilliant for choosing him as a captain’s pick. Playing in his ninth Ryder Cup, Garcia improved to 10-3-3 in foursomes.

Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood were the only European pairing to play both matches — and win. In the afternoon, playing in the anchor match again, Molinari and Fleetwood took down Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth in a convincing 5 and 4 win.

Collins & Murk are siding w/Flake, I don’t car WHAT they say, no investigation will be limited to current issues, something else will pop up and the Dems will say WHY NOT, WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF??

And NO investigation will take just a week, it takes that long to write a subpoena and get it thru spell check.

After a month, they’ll want to go back to committee – how many days to the election? 40 something?

Yertle had better have something up his sleeve that looks like a guillotine.

    Here’s SJC statement:

The operative word being “credible” so Michael Avenutti hardest hit, probably. Looks like Grassley called the Democrats’ bluff again. I think my scenario of may very well be right. When Flake started Flaking, Grassley called Trump, Trump called Kavanaugh and then called Grassley back – “make the request; I’ll authorize it.”

Now the Dems are stuck. They’re getting that investigation they wanted.

And somewhere in Palo Alto, Ford is shitting her effing pants. Because while Dirty Dianne was caught when she had to testify, she probably completely assured her that it would be okay to demand an FBI investigation; after all, they’d already said no and the Senate had no power to instigate one – that would have to come from Trump – so don’t worry; he’ll never do it.

Because you lie to the FBI Ford? You go to jail. And I’m pretty damn sure after what you put Brett Kavanaugh through, the DOJ is going to be very happy to prosecute your ass.

This is the dept that has been involved in a 3-yr attempted coup, if I’m not mistaken?

You guys, after years of hard evidence to the contrary, are still operating off the principles of how things are SUPPOSED to work. They don’t work like that anymore.

  137. 138 | September 28, 2018 5:08 pm

    @ eaglesoars:

True on that. But I think at the FBI it was that cabal of Comey/McCabe/Strzok/ Page and their cohorts. If what Rush, Levin et al. was hearing from the rank and file, they were really incensed at what these dirtbags were doing. This may prove true of the entrenched deep state at DOJ, but I think many of the career prosecutors still think they’re doing God’s work.

Of course, when it comes to the DOJ, we still need to get the Keebler Elf to stop baking shortbread in the tree trunk and do his job.

Haha. Let’s see how much Democrats backpedal in the next 24 hours.

Especially when the FBI show up at the WaPo and seize their email server to find out who leaked the Ford letter to them. Then shows up at Fords therapist’s office and seize her therapy notes and video tapes. Pulls the building permit for Ford’s 2nd front door and discovers that he had it built so that she could add a income property rental onto her house back in 2008. I imagine that Fords attorneys are not going to be very pleased when the FBI starts asking them why Frod was never informed of the Senate hearing committee’s offer to come to California and interview her. And then starts asking about Ford’s history of flying.

A lot of very embarrassing questions are about to be asked. Justice Kavanaugh is extremely popular with the rank and file FBI who are going to be investigating this.

  141. 142 | September 28, 2018 6:19 pm

    @ doriangrey:

Katz has already said…”Uh, yeah, we’ll cooperate. But it shouldn’t be limited in time.”

Lady, your client has no facts, no specifics, nothing. It took the FBI three days to look into the Anita Hill matter. They will have agents taking statements almost simultaneously from Kelsey, Smith, Judge, Kavanaugh and Ford. That’s all there is to your client’s claim. The investigation you and your client DEMANDED last Friday is going to happen.

In the meantime, Ms. Ramirez is going to be visited by an FBI agent. $10 says she folds like a cheap card table and names a few names.

And last but not least, we come to Swetnick. My fantasy, of course, is her telling the FBI “Actually, I don’t know anything about this. Avenetti got my name from Deborah Katz. He contacted me and asked me to swear out a statement for $75,000. He said that he’d been punked by some guys at 4Chan. He also said I didn’t have to worry – there’d never be any committee testimony or an FBI investigation – but he wanted to get Kavanaugh.”

  143. 144 | September 28, 2018 6:22 pm

    @ eaglesoars:

Hell what COULD they say? They were the ones demanding one as a condition for testifying last Friday. Of course, I’m sure they believed at the time it would never happen, just as I’m damned sure DiFi had told Ford there was no way she’d ever have to testify in front of the Committee.

In both cases, Grassley called her bluff.
