Minnesota Democratic staffer William Davis wrote a Facebook comment last week joking that Democrats should bring Republicans “to the guillotines.” Also, in the last seven days, two GOP candidates in Minnesota were attacked, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

Davis, a communications staffer in the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (DFL), wrote, “11.7 – bring them to the guillotines,” referring to Nov. 7, the day after the 2018 midterm elections. The DFL is affiliated with the Democratic Party.

It is your good fortune to be surrounded by Italians, especially the old school type. They are about family, food, opera and the good life.

It looks like 1/2 of Beto’ contributions come through Act Blue

“About half, or $31 million, of the $62 million that O’Rourke has raised to date has come through ActBlue, according to his latest filing. The tally suggests that the Democrat collected nearly $14 million by way of the platform in the third quarter alone.
Republicans, on the other hand, don’t really have an ActBlue equivalent.”

Good morning. I should be sleeping , instead I am up, reading the paper on line.
This piece is revealing, but you have to read down the column to get it.
As far as the Koshoggi thing, the Saudis are who I thought they are. Their fingerprints are all ove 9-11.
But things are being glossed over Koshoggi, he became a BFF with Bin Laden and ” collapsed in tears ”
when he heard the news of his death. If a journalist became a BFF of Hitler back in the day the Media
would not portray him as some kind of crusading ( no pun intended) hero.

  40. 42 | October 19, 2018 9:10 am

    Happy Birthday, Yenta!
    And MANY MANY more.

So Avenutti, because he hates being out of the headlines, announced he is taking Michael Cohen’s deposition the day after his sentencing – this is in his client’s case to throw out her NDA. (Because if he can’t get it thrown out, she’s now on the hook for damages as outlined in the NDA for violation of same – and they are ALWAYS there). In the notice, he has asked for all tape recordings between Trump and Cohen.

This is effing MALPRACTICE. Cohen may have turned over the tapes in an investigation. HOWEVER, this is not the same as a civil case wherein Cohen acted as Trump’s attorney regarding the transaction at issue. In fact, if Trump’s lawyers are savvy, and I’m willing to bet they are (I haven’t looked up the LA Superior docket on this, but it might be worth a look), they will file for an injunction barring Cohen from being deposed on the basis of attorney-client privilege. They might also advise the court of Avenutti’s behavior outside the courtroom and the guy gets a gag order.

My own feeling is this gets tossed on a summary judgment motion.

Oooops, just checked the LASC docket. It was removed to Federal Court. Which I can access with NO problem.

  41. 43 | October 19, 2018 9:25 am

Holy crap! This case is ALSO in front of Judge Otero!
He is not going to like this parading a deposition notice to the public.

A motion to dismiss this case was filed on 10/8 – the hearing will be 10 days before the scheduled deposition. Objection to deposition will be served advising that no deposition should take place until order on motion to dismiss is handed down.

And I can’t wait to see Otero’s reaction to Avenutti demanding the attorney-client communications. He does NOT appreciate grandstanding. It could have been worse for Avenutti though – he could have pulled Judge Manny Real – everyone I KNOW is scared of him.

Bongino is very methodical as an analyst with his Secret Service and NYPD background. He just brought out his book “Spygate;” With the FINCEN leaker(s) he realizes that he needs to write a sequel to include fresh revelations.

Armstrong notes Obama practices against real journalism:

Michael Hastings was the journalist exposing the surveillance state. Hastings wrote about the investigation of reporters by the U.S. Department of Justice back in 2013. He said that the restrictions on the freedom of the press by the Obama administration were a “war” on journalism. He wrote his last story before he died in what may have been a cyber attack. Someone was able to control his car remotely and drove it into a tree at top speed. His last story was entitled: “Why Democrats Love to Spy On Americans”, published by BuzzFeed on June 7, 2013. Any journalist who goes for the truth about the Deep State seems to end up dead. Hastings wrote that “the entire caste of current Democratic leaders as a gang of civil liberty opportunists.”

Trump has many aspects of showmanship. He’s been staging acts at casinos for years. His TV series was entirely theatre. He understands psychology as a negotiator/deal maker. You think that he is NOT using all of his skills? Because it had to have taken a lot of quiet advanced planning to sit down at the table with Kim given the mess that ozero left everywhere.

We will see what transpires. I’m not psychic. Look at all of the heavyweight people he has fired or who have quietly resigned. With the deep state in his face by hook and by crook, this President is not acting alone.

Many women I know — though, of course, not only women — are walking around with a churning knot of terror in their stomachs. The confirmation of the cruel former frat boy Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court brought back the anguish and degradation so many of us felt after the 2016 election. Donald Trump grows more thuggish and mendacious by the day; ‘gaslighting,’ a term taken from a play about an abusive husband trying to drive his wife insane, has become a byword of our national life.”

What pathetic, tedious scolds these women are.

Nobody ever asked who she was communicating with using that, tho. Whoever it was would have also needed a ham radio

Indeed – notice how fervently the Democrats and the perps at FBI and Justice are pushing that “he was serious about the 25th Amendment” story. He had that nice AF-1 plane ride with Trump recently as well as a couple of Oval meetings in the last couple weeks.

I wonder if some of Mueller’s report hasn’t leaked surreptitiously to “trusted” parties and now the stage is being set for Rosenstein to take the fall for Mueller not getting the goods on Trump.

The stage was always set for Rosenstein to take the fall if the coup failed. That’s where the problem with Rosensteins AF-1 meeting derives from. James Baker turned States evidence, looks like Rosenstein may have as well.

Mueller is going to release his report saying “I found no evidence of any Trump-Russia collusion, just a number of Russian criminals who defrauded various political consultants during the 2016 election cycle”.

Everything else that happens will take place behind closed doors without the media reporting on it.

    GOOD WORK!

Judicial Watch Files Bar Complaint Against Christine Blasey Ford’s Lawyers

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a complaint to the Board of Professional Responsibility of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals of Debra S. Katz, Lisa J. Banks, and Michael R. Bromwich for violating the rules of professional responsibility in their representation of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee during the hearings on the nomination of the Honorable Brett Kavanaugh.

According to the Judicial Watch complaint, by not informing their client Dr. Ford that Sen. Chuck Grassley, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee offered in a letter to “fly female staff investigators to meet Dr. Ford… in California, or anywhere else, to obtain (her) testimony,” Katz, Banks, and Bromwich violated the following District of Columbia Rules of Professional Conduct:

Rule l.4(a) – A lawyer shall keep a client reasonably informed about the status of a matter and promptly comply with reasonable requests for information.

Rule 1.4(b) – A lawyer shall explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation.

    https://www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/press-releases/judicial-watch-files-bar-complaint-against-christine-blasey-fords-lawyers/

I don’t see how Judicial Watch has standing to file this, but I guess they know their business

From The Epoch Times on the confusion circus surrounding Rosenstein.

“If Rosenstein were an actual threat to Trump, he’d have been gone long before this. The actual facts are that this is the guy who engineered the tossing of both James Comey and McCabe out of the FBI.

As I explained in an earlier column, there are several good reasons why Rosenstein has to withhold key documents from congressional committees, not the least of which is that several members of these Senate and House committees are under investigation for criminal leaks, as well as other illegal activity.

If Rosenstein were causing real problems, both Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions would have taken action, and it’s very telling that they haven’t. Trump just gave Rosenstein another very public vote of confidence. In addition, Sessions gave Rosenstein on Oct. 15 the high-profile job of leading a task force to target transnational criminal organizations, including Hezbollah and MS-13.

Remember what Trump said at his first press conference as president, “The leaks are real, the news is fake!” Most of what we are seeing in the media is deliberate disinformation. This includes most of what you’re hearing about Rosenstein.

For whatever reason, Trump has decided on a slow rollout, using a lot of disinformation, to hide what’s really happening from both the Democrats and their media allies. That means a lot of the chaos and confusion, which often centers on Rosenstein, is deliberate.

I think, in a few more weeks, we’ll know why.”

yes, that’s why I’ve been trying to point out that Rosenstein’s request for just 4 people, 2 of whom are Jordan and Gowdy, is probably about mitigating leaks, not asking for ‘special treatment’.

first comes the nice way, then, if nothing changes, the director of the unit and the director of nursing for the hospital get fired…then the board gets axed. its easier just to allow the borg to assimilate you.
