Here’s an open thread to get us through Monday! I’ve been a bit preoccupied, but the boss says he’s busy and needs posts, so here’s one!

Also: A fellow right wing friend is in need over at Zips.

    From Huck Funn:

Our WZ buddy, Math Fellow has been in touch with me about his heart problems. He’s now so weak that he can barely stand. He has a pre-op appointment with his cardiologist tomorrow and will schedule open heart surgery for heart valve replacement sometime this week. The doctor has told him that without surgery he has just weeks to live. He is 67 and his only income is SS. He said he only had $58 after paying his bills. We won’t see him on WZ any longer because he was unable pay for internet.

Here’s a link to the GoFundMe if anyone is so inclined.

Here’s to a great week, kids!!

On the upper right corner is Huck Funn’s ‘square’ as the originator and an email icon by his name. If you email him, he’ll get back to you with Math Fellow’s address so you can send a card.

Shouldn’t the Daily Mail be saying that the French riot police are using assault weapons? After all, that’s how they’d report it if a civilian used a semi-automatic weapon in an attack.

Beginning in 2016, according to one source, Ring provided its Ukraine-based research and development team virtually unfettered access to a folder on Amazon’s S3 cloud storage service that contained every video created by every Ring camera around the world.

      WHAT??!!

WARSAW—The popular mayor of a major Polish city died on Monday after being stabbed to death during a public address, sparking an uproar in a country torn by political tensions between the conservative government and the opposition.

Pawel Adamowicz, 53 years old, a prominent politician close to the opposition who was mayor of the Baltic port city of Gdansk, was speaking on stage during a televised charity event attended by hundreds of people on Sunday night when he was assaulted.

The attacker, a 27-year-old with a criminal record, stabbed Mr. Adamowicz with a large knife and then grabbed the microphone to shout slogans against the opposition political party. Mr. Adamowicz underwent an emergency surgery but died on Monday afternoon, authorities said. The suspect was immediately arrested and is in custody.

Did Antifa take credit for that yet like they did after nearly killing a German politician. These attacks are from the totalitarian left. There will be blood in the streets in Europe as this continues.
The EU cockroaches will not give up their mansions, planes, and yachts
without direct aggression. Perhaps the Europeans will stop their candlelight vigils and get proper physical skills with weapons and defense training.

Armstrong said that the last week in January will start showing financial panic. Not a crash, but it sounds like some market volatility will occur. Why do they always say “volatility” when the market goes down? Because the money masters want to keep us in the casino? NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE. Armstrong is a genius with a record to prove his accuracy.

[W]hile the Western European political class and its allies love to sneer at Donald Trump, millions of ordinary citizens across the continent wish dearly that they had a Trump of their own.

Only last week, for example, a caller to Nigel Farage’s radio show in Britain expressed the desire that Trump, and not Theresa May, had negotiated Britain’s exit deal with the EU. Farage shared her sentiments. Then there’s the up-and-coming Dutch political leader Lennard van Mil, known in his country as a “gayservative” (short for “gay conservative”), who can be seen in many photographs online wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap.

Trump’s allure is potent even in Scandinavia. In November 2016, on the day before the election in the U.S., the Norwegian alternative-news website Document.no ran a piece by Magne Reigstad headlined “Why We Need a Trump.” Reigstad spelled out the reasons. America isn’t the only Western country in which too much power accrues to self-seeking bureaucrats and lobbyists who don’t give a damn what ordinary citizens think or want or need. America’s not alone in being run by politicians who, preoccupied with short-term personal gains and political prospects at the expense of the long-term national interest, pursue disastrous policies that threaten to bring down Western civilization. And America isn’t the only country whose mainstream news media spread “fake news” about all the above, whitewashing dangerous alien cultures while showing insufficient concern for our own.

In newspeak that usually means muzz. I think a vast number of people have mental health issues. It may be a disturbance in the force. By that I mean the ‘collective unconscious’ that Jung wrote about. People, especially the young, have lost out on careers due to outsourcing. Same for older workers. Families, urged on by Marxists, have lost a sense of belonging. It’s common for people to live by themselves. Something I never saw way back in the day. Churches stand empty or much worse, they are increasingly taken over by mosques.

Self Righteousness has been taken over by political affiliation while
organized religion has lost it. What’s left is the worst of both worlds.

      Sounds like the FBI:

Robert Mueller – From the Inside…

There’s a vastly different opinion amid some who review the action of Rod Rosenstein and Robert Mueller. CTH has noted a common corrupt theme amid the DOJ and FBI that crosses both the Obama and Trump administrations: A priority to preserve the institution; regardless of how corrupt the institution is; and regardless of how much collateral damage those system administrators will create in their effort toward that preservation goal.

Within the larger discussion, sometimes comments hit the proverbial nail. I think this one does exactly that:

“Not ALL FBI Agents are moral pariahs. 60% are good American patriots who joined the Agency in good faith expecting to serve their Country and put bad people behind bars.

The other 40% are Peter Strozk and Lisa Page. ALL of FBI HQ is populated by the Strozk/Page types. Recruitment of this type of Agent started under Mueller and continued under Comey. Mueller drove out all of the old school “Brick Agents” shortly after he became Director.

Mueller implemented an “up or out” policy where all SSAs were required to move to DC and do Headquarters time or lose their GS 14 pay grade. This policy change by Mueller purposely targeted the most senior Agents in the FBI who had finally earned the right to move their family to a medium sized office in fly over country, had teenage kids and were living a comfortable life.

Mueller knew these Agents would not uproot their families and move to DC. Hundreds of these senior Agents immediately retired. Literally thousands of years of investigative experience left the FBI overnight.

This is exactly what Mueller wanted. These were the men and women who would have called Mueller out when he started transforming the FBI from a criminal investigative organization into a domestic intelligence organization (it is illegal to collect intelligence on American citizens).

Mueller immediately began filling the ranks with Strozk/Page types. The FBI does extensive psychological screening of applicants. Stroke and Page are self interested, well-educated cowards whose only motivation is their own promotion and paycheck. In other words they are people who will be blindly loyal to the Agency and will obey any order no matter how un-Constitutional or unlawful. This is the psychological profile that Mueller and Comey actively recruited and hired.

On the flip-side, combat veterans, patriots, have been denied employment by the FBI at all costs (they all mysteriously fail the polygraph and background check).

The morale of the good Agents is at rock bottom. Everyone is retiring as soon as they are eligible. Younger Agents are leaving as soon as they can find another line of work. They are ashamed of the badge.

It is time to abolish the FBI. Make the 56 FBI field offices the Investigative Branch of DHS. Fire everyone in the FBI and make them re-apply for their job under new standards. President Trump can remodel FBIHQ into a hotel. Or better yet, burn it to the ground and salt the earth. Hang everyone on the 7th floor for treason.”

And I will note that WAY too many people have characterized him as honorable, from the TWS flunky Steve Hayward to Andy McCarthy when he was first appointed. So let’s cut the crap.

As for Steve King – when the NYT piece came out, his ‘defense’ of “I made a freshman mistake” doesn’t cut it. He had 3 strikes against him when the piece came out and failed to understand that there was a laser sight on his forehead. OR didn’t think what he was credited with saying was all that serious. A damning indictment in its own right.

If it was a lie – and I’m willing to believe it is – he should have made a stink like you wouldn’t believe. Instead, he made a joke.

The joke’s on him. People need to get a clue. They can’t go after the Louis Farrakahns of the world and his supporters (Rashida Tlaib) if their side harbors people who have this perception out there.

In a 56 minute interview, we discussed the changing use of language in political discourse. We discussed the worn out label “racist” and my observation that other slanderous labels have been increasingly assigned to Conservatives by the Left, who injected into our current political dialog such terms as Nazi, Fascist, “ White Nationalist, White Supremacist,— Western Civilization, how did THAT language become offensive? Why did I sit in classes teaching me about the merits of our history and our civilization?”…just to watch Western Civilization become a derogatory term in political discourse today. Clearly, I was only referencing Western Civilization classes. No one ever sat in a class listening to the merits of white nationalism and white supremacy.

The Iranians I knew were pre- or immediately post-revolution. A friend and his entire family were apparently murdered by the Khomeni regime. You may remember back in the swamp days I went to a CAIR-sponsored event for Khatami – Charles let me do a thread on it – so I met Khatami and got to speak with him for a few minutes. It is after all up to the people of Iran to create their own democratic republic based on rule of law. Democracy CANNOT be imposed from the outside and that fact is the reason for 70,000 and counting deaths of US servicemen over the past half century.

      Yup.

Don’t want youngsters in space where Van Allen Belt radiation plus cosmic rays can damage their DNA. Put the oldsters up because it doesn’t matter if they get a dose. They are programmed to die off genetically anyway before the damage can carry them off. In zero G who needs to be able to do 40 pushups in 1 minute?

Dilemma, If I see wrongs being done ( not physical but financial ) to others do I just shut the fuck up and not get involved or do I help them.

      The Expired Sticker Scam http://texastowingcompliance.com/expired-sticker-scam/

Is happening at my apartment complex. I have expired registration due to bloody car won’t pass emission test without me spending a lot of money and it is worth $600. Minor evap system leak, as in bad gas cap or lying on board computer.

Anyway two got towed today I found out. We all got orange stickers on Saturday for “Expired Registration” and as a bonus I got an “Abandoned Vehicle” notice.

I now park on the street….

Not many here speak fluent English, and “Hola” is the extent of my Spanish. However, and Calo ignore this, we all often have a few beers together in the parking lot.

Well yes I have expired plates and according to Texas law I can be legally towed, but

      (e) A contract provision providing for the removal from a parking facility of a vehicle that does not display an unexpired license plate or registration insignia or a valid inspection certificate is valid only if the provision requires the owner or operator of the vehicle to be given at least 10 days’ written notice that the vehicle will be towed from the facility at the vehicle owner’s or operator’s expense if it is not removed from the parking facility. The notice must be:

      (1) delivered in person to the owner or operator of the vehicle; or
      (2) sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the owner or operator.

Basically, if your vehicle is towed for an expired inspection and/or registration and the registered owner did not receive a certified letter from the apartment complex, your vehicle was illegally towed.

You most definitely want to file an online complaint against the towing service for violating Occupations Code 2308.253 (d)(1)(2). The orange sticker on your vehicle for expired license plates or inspection sticker is not the required notice. You should call the police to report your vehicle stolen, as probable cause did not exist to tow a vehicle for expired tags with merely an orange sticker! Confront your property manager by recording all conversations as they authorized an illegal tow and file criminal charges against the property manager as well. Direct them to this website so they can see their towing company is more concerned with making money than keeping them out of Jail. It is also recommended that motorists burned financially because of this ongoing towing scam, that you file an online complaint against the property manager and towing company with the Bad Business Bureau.

If you receive this required certified letter from the tow company instead of the apartment complex, without a doubt, your vehicle was illegally towed and are due compensation from the property management company and property owner. Please file the online complaint against the tow company for providing something of value to the parking facility in connection with the removal of the vehicle, which is strictly prohibited by State Law.

Now as to the bogus “Abandoned Vehicle” bullshit which can get me towed, well this “Abandoned Vehicle” went through 5 toll points today at $0.38 a time and will continue to go through a few tolls per day.

Tow my car because it is abandoned? See you in court!!!!!!!

      Holeee Crap, Batman

Has President Trump suckered Democrats and the Deep State into a trap that will enable a radical downsizing of the federal bureaucracy? In only five more days of the already “longest government shutdown in history” (25 days and counting, as of today), a heretofore obscure threshold will be reached, enabling permanent layoffs of bureaucrats furloughed 30 days or more.

      AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

“On the flip-side, combat veterans, patriots, have been denied employment by the FBI at all costs (they all mysteriously fail the polygraph and background check).”

That has been going on since the Clinton administration across all branches of federal employment. I once tried to apply to the federal marshalls after college and was told, after different approaches, to basically pound sand. I had an ace… retired marshall and SS agent who I asked to investigate WTF was going on and he said come back in a week. He was old and not the subtle type so I Quote his resposne “they aren’t hiring white boys right now, but if you were black woman they would hire you tomorrow.” Despite the degree, combat vet and spoke a foreign language? “I mentioned that and they suggested to go be a cop somewhere and try again in about 3 years.” I deeped-six any desire after that.

Recall the phrase “going postal?” That was due to younger less time in service minority and female postal workers being selectively promoted over the older white colleagues who took umbrage. The federal pension systems at the time was based on your last pay grade and promotion was based on “time-in-service.” Clintons wanted to pander and that 90s scooby-doo mystery went unsolved in the MSM.

LORDSBURG, N.M. — Ranchers and farmers near the U.S.-Mexico border have been finding prayer rugs on their properties in recent months, according to one rancher who asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation by cartels.

The mats are pieces of carpet that those of the Muslim faith kneel on as they worship.

“There’s a lot of people coming in not just from Mexico,” the rancher said. “People, the general public, just don’t get the terrorist threats of that. That’s what’s really scary. I have a safety razor shaver from 1932. Made by Gillette. I get my single blade razors from Israel (so I can blame the Jews if i cut myself…i haven’t yet). Use one a month for 8 cents.

Shave soap from Taylor’s of Bond street and a boar’s hair soap brush.

      Old school.

Very cost effective versus the 6 blade, GPS guided, etc crap. And close too.

Single blades?? You have more guts than I thought mate! And you make them last a whole month. Now that is just plain crazy talk!

Your choice of Taylor’s of Old Bond Street and your boar’s hair brush is brilliant. 10 points on that one

It evens out the 2 points of your ‘kamikaze’ blades giving you an average of 6 … just above the average.

      🙂

They need something to spend money on?

      Nope.

They are down in the weeds with their discovery of the Higgs boson but they also found that there is just a tad more to go to really get down to the ground state of reality. However maybe you are right and they just want a new toy to play with and to justify all these research dollars and Euros that ensure their lifestyle choices.

      @ PaladinPhil:

The Postal Service has been a disgrace. Slow, unreliable, and lead by bigots who think they are SJWs. Many years ago I was working with an adorable little boy whose mom brought him to see me. She had been in prison for months for theft. When she got out, guess who hired her? Yup. Post Office. She did adore that cute kid though.

The leadership had P.O. workers collecting money for ‘kids’ mental health’ when I bought stamps a few years back. I could not get a straight answer as to who these kids were. A friend in Alberta had the same experience. They were stealing for Palestine I’m SURE. They helped sponsor the ‘Mavi Mamara’ ship that rammed an Israeli blockade and got someone killed iirc. Wrote a letter to the Union head, but of course never heard back. Scum.

      @ yenta-fada:
The US Postal Service is a contradiction in terms. It’s certainly NOT a service.

It’s in need of a good outsourced provider, on a fixed term contract, to keep them honest. That’d get the service standards up.

      🙂

Stop criticizing the United States Postal Service!!!

The person that delivers my mail at work is an extremely dedicated person. Very Friendly.

Yesterday as I was driving into the industrial complex where I work she was driving out. We exchanged waves.

Today as I was leaving a business five minutes from my office to drop of some aluminum parts that needed anodizing a mail truck pulled up.

She waved, and I waved back.

Now what we do is not a “just hold your hand in the air” kind of wave. It is a very active lots of arm wiggling wave!

      The point is?

      We are colour blind.

Did anybody else hear Tucker’s interview with this research psychologist, Epstein? He researched Google during the 2016 election and said they changed between 800k – 4mil votes. I’m not sure I believe it, but I gather there’s a report to be published on Breitbart.

      😆

a deft hand and precision movements.

the old bond street stuff is top notch. i don’t shave every day because i don’t work every day, gotta give the face a rest. so i shave maybe 15-18 times a month.

the single blade used properly is the closest that i have come to my barber and his straight razor…now THAT is a shave.
