More Propaganda, NAFTA Style

by coldwarrior ( 52 Comments › )

The headline reads:

Trump’s New Nafta Faces Mounting Resistance in Democratic House

OK, sure. They hate the man with such a white hot burning anger that they wouldn’t dare give him a win, OK fine.

BUT…the article states this to back up the headline:

Democrats said they want to make it easier to enforce new rules designed to strengthen labor rights in Mexico, saying a lack of worker protections there is hurting wages and job prospects for U.S. workers. Trump administration officials said these concerns can be handled in follow-up legislation that would implement the U.S.-Mexico-Canada-Agreement, or USMCA.

UMMMMM….M’kay….This is the big, deal-busting sabot in the gears? Seriously? Trump has railed against the lack of regs and worker protection in Mexico (and China) since day one. Why would he not sign this?

The headline does not match the article, nor does it match reality.

So that apology the NYT ran yesterday about that vile cartoon they ran? The apology that said “we are committed to making sure this never happens again”?

    Yeah, they lied.

Well, I am not sanguine. Rush just talked about another group of people who think Trump will win (money mgrs polled by Barron’s).

Nobody seems to be worried about

    1. These states who are changing the electoral college rules
    2. States who are refusing to put Trump on the ballot unless he releases his taxes or something
    3. VOTE HARVESTING. ahem. California. Hello? That’s voter fraud straight up.

Mia’s doggy day care called. She apparently ate a bee. Fortunately, doggy day care is run by her vet clinic which is right there. Then the vet called. She’s ‘stable’. STABLE??

So, the dems are putting forward something that the President is in favor of and the press is already setting it up that he will oppose it. That means that whatever proposal they are putting forward has NOTHING to do with what they claim it does. It will be something loaded with BS and probably “stimulus” aid to Mexico without a trace of support for worker protections or labor rights. Hell it probably appoints the SEIU as an official arm of the US government for assistance to Mexico.

There is something seriously fishy here. They are up to something and the press is preemptively running cover.

Anybody have any idea of what’s up in Argentina?

TV ads here in Argentina show dads eating meat as dumb cavemen.

While showing women and young people as “hip” and embarrassed at how out of touch with the times he is

All end up happy eating soy food and the dad is now “cool”

    This is war propaganda

Beef is at the heart of Argentinian culture. What’s up with this?

‘Avengers: Endgame’ Is Not LGBT-Friendly Enough, ‘Fat-Shames’ Thor, SJWs Claim

“Avengers: Endgame” may be about to set a world record for earnings on its opening weekend, but there are some Marvel fans who were left very unsatisifed by the epic conclusion to the multi-year Avengers saga.

Predictably, many of those fans are self-identified social justice warriors who are concerned that “Avengers: Endgame” has too few LGBT characters and that audience members may have found some fat jokes, made at the expense of core Avenger Thor, emotionally scarring.

Anything that you would not have to take repeatedly to alleviate pain
is a whole new ball game. You might not build up the tolerance that requires higher doses during a course of treatment. Not all pain is due to inflammation, but a large percentage certainly is.

Former Minneapolis Police Officer Found Guilty In 2017 Death Of Unarmed Woman Shot After Calling 911

Former Minneapolis Police Officer Mohamed Noor was found guilty by a jury on Tuesday in the 2017 death of Justine Damond, an unarmed woman who was fatally shot shortly after she called 911 to report a possible rape.

The decision from the jury, which received the case on Monday, followed three weeks of testimony in the trial against Noor.

The former officer was found guilty of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. However, the jury found him not guilty of second-degree murder. Noor was taken straight from the courtroom into the custody of the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Dept. His sentencing was scheduled for June 7.

Anybody think that all these terrible shootings will motivate more people to buy and learn to properly handle firearms? I would if I could nd lived in the U.S.? Maybe that’s just me.

Apparently it was International Jazz Day brought to us by message soaked UNESCO. Some good, some great musicians. Each number was short and efficient, barely giving you time to start to get into the music. Large takeaway was get people from everywhere. Second message Jazz will bring peace and love. Closed with some black fat chick whose specialty was murdering melody. They played “Imagine”. If the UN is involved it will rob you of your soul inch by inch.

Anecdotal evidence does seem to support an uptick in both gun sales and in the number of people signing up for training following these types of incidents.

Personally, I don’t own enough guns to outfit an infantry squad yet, so I need a few more 🙂
