Too many links to post, but it seems Ilhan Omar’s lover is being divorced by his wife. His name is Tim Mynett. He has a company E. Street Group LLC (how very Springsteen) that was paid over $20k in travel expenses by Omar’s campaign. Based on pics I’ve seen, he’s quite the dork.

I’ve been reading the DM for years and I’m convinced they use language that acts as click bait. If they just wrote “Here’s Hilary talking a walk disguised as a tent’, they’d get a whole different patronage. The best thing about the DM is the comments. You should SEE what they did to Meghan, aka the Duchess of Sussex. It was brutal, but never once did they use one loaded term. If you want to know what’s going on in the UK, you have to read the comments of the DM. It’s fabulous.

Another thing I think is worth attention: there was a piece on Fox/McCallum premised on this new narrative that China is ‘confused’ about Trump. They can’t figure him out and they don’t know how to read him. They are picking up on they ‘crazy/unstable’ narrative that the media want to go with

That’s a bullshit narrative, Trump has Lighthizer negotiating with them and he’s brilliant. That Fox fell for this and didn’t have the riposte ready is telling.

“… footage that is unusable,” WTH ? What is this, 1936 ? “FOOTAGE” ?
Mr. DeMille, I’m ready for my close up”. “Lights, camera and … ACTION … wait, wait, CUT !!”
“No film in the CAMERA” ? You have to be kiddin’ me.
EVERYTHING is digital today and no I don’t believe for a second that because it was a Fed Gov run jail they didn’t have the money to convert from film to digital ! The savings alone…
I worked for the govermint and every year I had to goose the predictions for next years budget by +3% and come up with a list of junk we didn’t need but often already had, still sitting, brand spankin’ new, in the box…
    Unreal.

I assumed they were talking about static mount wall cameras. I have them around my house and also on my car. Neither rain, snow or… wait thats a postal not prison…
Anyway, I never, ever had a problem with them (digital) inside or out, rain snow or frogs. But my point was ‘footage’ is a term used in old school movie making – it implies the length of the film on a reel in inches and feet. No such thing when you’re talking about ‘digital’ (0s and 1s). And more to the point, the old school security cameras sent the image back to a VHS / Betamax type tape but I guess ‘footage’ was used when talking about them also (I honestly can’t remember).
Of course they used those type camera/tape machines decades ago because they were the latest tech. But in 2019 at a high security lock up ?
What I started to add last night but deleted because it got away from my point is that the new technology has not come equipped with new terms. Kind of like we used to say ‘the 60s’, ‘the 70s’ etc, we were stuck when the calendar turned over to the ’00s. We stumbled around with ‘aught’ and ‘O O’s etc. Us old folk still think in terms of the old Kodak terms such as film, pictures etc. Maybe the whippersnappers have come up with new ?
Its very possible they were using digital but didn’t know how to explain what happened without using old tech terms.
Pheeeew, that was much longer than I had intended. Sorry.Hope it made sense.

Except they weren’t. PUBLICLY available docs show the only signers were Trump entities and his lawyers are threatening to sue for malice.

“The only borrowers under these loans are Trump entities and Mr. Trump is the only guarantor. Numerous documents for each of these loans are also recorded…Actual malice can easily be proven based on your reckless disregard of the truth.”

I don’t know enough to have an opinion, but here ya go…..

    U.S. gov’t is considering issuing 50 – 100 YEAR bonds.

“If the conditions are right, then I would anticipate we’ll take advantage of long-term borrowing and execute on that,” Mnuchin said Wednesday in a Bloomberg News interview in Washington. He said officials held a meeting earlier in the day to review the possibility.

The concept of issuing 50 or 100-year bonds dates to at least 2009 and has recently gained traction within Treasury. For the Trump administration, issuing extremely long-term debt would limit the cost to taxpayers of plugging a budget deficit that’s headed to $1 trillion annually. Pension funds would enjoy a few extra points of returns amid falling yields.

DHS bars Dem staffers from visiting border facilities after ‘rude’ and ‘disruptive’ behavior

EXCLUSIVE: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has barred Democratic staffers from the House Oversight Committee from visiting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facilities at the U.S.-Mexico border as part of a planned trip this week after committee staff allegedly were “disruptive” and refused to follow instructions during their last trip, Fox News has learned.

Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings, D-Md., had sent his staff to visit border facilities for “oversight inspections” last week and planned to send staff again to view Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and CBP centers.

But sources told Fox News that DHS has revoked access to CBP facilities for the upcoming visit, citing staff behavior that “interfered” with law enforcement operations — including refusing to leave one site after their scheduled window, skipping some tours and being “rude” to officers. A DHS official said that ICE visits will still be allowed this week, but with a two-hour time limit. One of those visits took place on Tuesday

This speaks to the deep strain of moral relativism that has been accelerating as the Dems pulled harder to the left. They confuse this with “tolerance.” One of their almighty virtues. They went full circle from extreme tolerance to intolerance of anything that didn’t meet their lofty standards. This allows them to lie because THEIR truth is THE truth.

One of the worst things to ever come from the leftist takeover of academia is the constant charge of ‘White guilt.’ Writers such as Mr. Zinn are complicit in the spread of this, especially now that his ‘People’s History Of The United States’ has been in print since the early 1980s. That has been a long time to see his writings take root throughout United States academia. Dr. Zinn is one of those academics who think that they can improve the human race, but instead, they make things worse. If anything, they have become enablers of those who ghave gone from tolerance to intolerance.

Biden was taking questions in Rockville, S.C., when an attendee asked him for the justification for holding migrants and expanding detention facilities if those facilities could not ensure their safety. She also asked Biden what he would do to help reunite separated families.

“Close them down,” Biden answered, to cheers from the crowd. “By the way, we don’t need them. We found that when we were in office…if you would say ‘you have to report back for a hearing on such-and-such date,’ people show up. You don’t have to keep kids in a cage. There should be no justification for separating a parent from a child.”

This is excellent, even though it is long. If you listen to a few minutes you will get hooked. Kyle Bass, who is a self made hedge fund billionaire, is a serious student and observer of China. In this vid he interviews Steve Bannon. Whatever you think about him, Bannon has lived in China and started businesses there. He thinks the world of the PEOPLE of China. However the CPC is totalitarian, vicious, and has been spying and stealing actively in North America for years. Bannon is considered an enemy by the CPC.

Bannon grimly states that China wants no less than world domination. The Commies considered the American Century as the worst humiliation China has ever suffered, and they have heightened their aggression since the financial crisis during 2008. It took full advantage of Western weakness and have contempt for America when it acts with kindness.

Kyle Bass has done great interviews with China experts, and thei views support Bannon’s analysis and experience. Bass talked to the Harvard prof who wrote “The Thucydides Trap” after a distinguished career advising past Presidents concerning China. The cyberwars, using the Navy to cut off potential geopolitical choke points, Economic wars, and billions in money laundering are some of the undeclared wars being waged against the U.S.

Everything Trump says about China is only the tip of the iceberg of Communist Party aggression against the U.S.

There was a spate of heavily gold plated tungsten+ bars being shuffled around the world for while. The weight was close, but not THAT close. The kind of bars that are bought by Central Banks and Arab oil scuzz are 400 TROY ounce bars. So getting stiffed on those suckers likely caused everyone to carefully weigh what they call ‘good delivery’ gold bars. The Swiss refineries who ship them around the world are much too careful to jeopardize their reputation with counterfeit. Crooked chains of delivery would be very profitable.

    @ lobo91:

It’s only going to get harder to follow Larkin Poe around when you retire.

99 shows over the course of 4 days, in 5 different venues. You need a spreadsheet to keep track of it all.

The book they mention in the Bannon interview as ‘Unconvention Warfare’ is actually titled “UnResticted Warfare: China’s Master Plan to Destroy America” and it’s available on kindle if you’re interested

I’m listening to a webinar on China this Sunday.

    You guys better believe it!

That’s why once you actually have your hands on the stuff you NEVER let anyone else access it unless you are right there standing next to them! The ‘ultimate’ scam is the idea of ‘so called paper gold’. Yup, All you do is suspend your imaginations pay your hard earned $$$ and uplift a piece of paper that says ‘I owe you X oz of Gold to be paid on demand.”

    Yeah r-i-g-h-ttttt !

The upgraded version of the scam is to ‘sell ‘ the physical gold and then put the fear of god into the purchaser and convince them to just leave it in the trader’s vault …. where it will be safe , until you want to collect it.

A person I knew ‘sold’ the same pile of gold bars SEVEN TIMES …. too seven different suckers. He then decamped to live in the Gold Coast … the irony … in Queensland. As far as I understand it he was never brought to trial because his customers were even bigger scammers than he was and they didn’t want any publicity.

Still I am guessing that he never sleeps soundly at night and is always looking over his shoulder.

then there was the time I thought bubble bath would be a good idea in one of those jet tubs

Now I’d pay real cash money to witness that! Of course identity and reputations would be protected by a gazillion bubbles!

    HEH!

    🙂

Yeah, defrauding other criminals can be very unhealthy
