Impeachment Open

Why are the Dems going down the impeachment path over Ukraine? They know this is DOA in the Senate and will be very unpopular.

This is a stunt with a side benefit, it will take out Joe Biden and clear the path for a Communist to run.

I don’t see what has fundamentally changed. This is just a bunch of committees doing what they’ve been doing. Nothing is being put to a vote. She just put some kind of ‘legit’ stamp on it, but I don’t see a status change anywhere

So Nancy the twit made these ridiculous investigations “formal” impeachment inquiry without the requisite House vote to begin a “FORMAL” inquiry. Either she didn’t have the votes in the House or she’s trying to give cover to the Democrats elected from Trump districts. Won’t work.

The Dems are banking on the fact that 90% of Americans don’t even know the meaning of impeachment. You can expect every news story between now and next November that mentions Trump to include the phrase “who is about to be impeached.”

They’re desperate to drive down his poll numbers any way they can. Also, when the inevitable Supreme Court vacancy occurs, they can demand that the Senate wait until after the election, since Trump is either going to be impeached or defeated.

Britain ceases to be a democracy as the rule of law becomes rule by an unelected regime of 11 judges who were placed in a position of power a decade ago with NO CHECKS & BALANCES. Where is Guy Ffawkes when you need him?

These jurists have over reached and need to be removed one way or another. If the US thinks that arguing about whether to attempt to remove a sitting President is even newsworthy then that is a mere peccadillo with the political volcano brewing in the UK.

The Queen still controls the UK Armed Forces and some Constabulary. It has almost instantly reached the point where the Queen will have to dissolve Parliament and FORCE an IMMEDIATE ELECTION.

She can’t. Back in the 90’s they passed something called The Fixed Term Parliament Act. To call an election about 66% of MPs need to vote for it and the votes aren’t there right now

So my understanding is that the so-called “whistleblower” is “eager” to testify before Congress. Yeah, so was Ballsey-Fraud, remember? She immediately did a 180 when Grassley said “okay, we’ll reopen the hearings so you can do so.”

So, now that it appears the transcript doesn’t back the jerk up, we’re now hearing “but wait – there’s MORE!” Okay. From Twitchy, it looks like Trump Admin is saying they will make the “complaint” public. After that happens, I’ll be looking for Congress and/or partisan attorneys for this jerk to start making excuses as soon as the subpoena comes in over the transom. If they were pinning their hopes on this, they are in trouble.

If he doesn’t enjoy whistleblower status, there is no “confidentiality” privilege that is going to attach – he has to state HOW he came into possession of classifed knowledge.

I have a strong feeling this a’hole is going to be sorry he let his TDS overtake him and that he started all this. I also have a strong feeling that this a’hole also spoke to people like Schifty and Fat Jerry BEFORE he made his so-called “complaint” and probably misrepresented what he knew and how he knew it.

Interesting. He doesn’t mention JOE Biden. He mentions the son and the investigation and the fired prosecutor. It also looks like he’s trying to get to the bottom of the hacking of the DNC server, which is more than the DNC ever wanted to do.

Nothing there. Biden has never been asked, as far as I know, WHY they wanted that prosecutor fired, if not for the investigation into his son.

  28. 28 | September 25, 2019 10:33 am

Of course, what the MSM and the low-information voters DON’T know (or in the case of the former, don’t report), the CLINTON campaign was getting DIRECT help from the Ukrainian government for dirt on Trump – which is what Weissman used to nail Paul Manafort. Ukraine knew Manafort was more aligned with Russia and gave Clinton dirt on him.

WHAT have I been saying for over a year? I’ve been saying that Crowdstrike is shady. I’ve been saying that they lied to Donna Brazille about the DNC servers and the only thing that makes sense is that it was an inside job and Crowdstrike is a prime suspect.

    Now look at this.

The cyber security firm outsourced by the Democratic National Committee, CrowdStrike, reportedly misread data, falsely attributing a hacking in Ukraine to the Russians in December 2016. Voice of America, a US Government funded media outlet, reported, “the CrowdStrike report, released in December, asserted that Russians hacked into a Ukrainian artillery app, resulting in heavy losses of howitzers in Ukraine’s war with Russian-backed separatists. But the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) told VOA that CrowdStrike erroneously used IISS data as proof of the intrusion. IISS disavowed any connection to the CrowdStrike report.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense also has claimed combat losses and hacking never happened.” The maker of the military app allegedly hacked called CrowdStrike’s report “delusional,” and told VOA that CrowdStrike never contacted him either before or after they completed their report. VOA News noted Ukraine’s rebuttal to CrowdStrike received little media attention as CrowdStrike’s report was widely cited in media outlets throughout the United States as further evidence of Russia hacking the United States. Alperovitch, who gave several interviews on CrowdStrike’s initial report to the Washington Post and other media outlets, refused to comment on VOA News’ report.

Read the whole thing, it gets worse. This is what happens when 1) you’re not nearly as smart as you think you are, and 2) you think you’re smarter than everybody else.

  42. 42 | September 25, 2019 4:06 pm

    @ eaglesoars:

GMTA – there was no earthly reason for the DNC NOT to have turned those servers over to the premier investigative organization in the US – the FBI. The insistence instead that they be allowed to turn it over to a DNC-friendly organization smacks of an attempt at covering up what really happened. We only have Crowdstrike’s WORD that the hack was from Russia – which nicely fits in with the whole “Trump/Russia” collusion scenario they were trying to push.

Meanwhile, FBI asks to see GOP servers to make sure they were not hacked by Russia (or anyone else for that matter). Surprise. FBI found nothing.

I remember when we thought the silly machinations of the Nixon campaign in 1972 which led to the Watergate hearings were pretty convoluted. This is way beyond that – Ken Follett, John LeCarre and Tom Clancy must be pea green with envy.

So I’m going back thru Donna Brazille’s book. Read this happy horsepuckey

In the crucial weeks before the convention, right before the party announced the hacking, the DNC confiscated the staff’s computers for the weekend without any warning or explanation. Many people were upset, thinking that they had been fired because Hillary’s team was about to take over the party. When they got to work on Monday they found out that the cybersecurity firm the party hired had wiped their computers clean, eliminating all their files, including their files about the convention. When they asked why they hadn’t been warned so that they could save important files on a thumb drive, the consultants said that they couldn’t allow them to do that. If the hackers saw everyone downloading files, they’d take evasive action.

The cybersecurity firm in question remains unnamed, Crowdstrike isn’t in the picture at this point. The DNC discovered the hack in the first half of June, the convention began on July 22, so somewhere in that timeframe, the DNC had all its staffers computers wiped. But won’t allow backups because that would alert the hackers? As if wiping everything won’t? This is what I mean when I say Donna Brazille simply wasn’t savy enough to know when she was being handed a bucket of warm spit.

Right now, it appears I don’t remember how they knew they were hacked because Brazille never says. Wasserman-Schultz simply informed senior officers on June 14

It transformed itself from the Smoky City to the Renaissance City in the 1940s, and that was just the beginning. Pittsburghers today refer to that era as Renaissance I because they’re now up to Renaissance III—or maybe IV, depending on how you count.

KA-CHING! Angry Teen Environmentalist ‘Wins’ $100,000 In ‘Alternative Nobel Prize’ Award

Greta Thunberg, the angry young climatologist making headlines all over the world, has “won” 1 million Swedish kronor ($103,000) for her angry crusade to stop global warming.

The 16-year-old is among four people named as the winners of a Right Livelihood Award, also called the “Alternative Nobel Prize.”

“We honour and support courageous people solving global problems,” says their website. What problem Thunberg has “solved” is unclear.

“Thunberg is the powerful voice of a young generation that will have to bear the consequences of today’s political failure to stop climate change. Her resolve to not put up with the looming climate disaster has inspired millions of peers to also raise their voices and demand immediate climate action,” says the site.

Thunberg is quoted in the award announcement:

“I’m deeply grateful for being one of the recipients of this great honour. But of course, whenever I receive an award, it is not me who is the winner. I am part of a global movement of school children, youth and adults of all ages who have decided to act in defence of our living planet. I share this award with them. The Right Livelihood Award is a huge recognition for Fridays For Future and the climate strike movement. Thank you so very much!”

An award ceremony is planned in Stockholm on Dec. 4, six days before the Nobel prizes are handed out, but Thunberg will be in Chile for a climate summit so likely won’t attend.

Then just before dawn a team of DC best turned up and cleared Rich’s ward so that they could … ‘interview’…. him. Shortly thereafter he registered a code red that wasn’t responded to for 23 minutes. By the time the DC cops left the building Rich had been dead for 15 minutes already.

    Here is the whistleblower complaint

    https://intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/20190812_-_whistleblower_complaint_unclass.pdf

    Commentary:https://twitter.com/FredFleitz/status/1177206661603348480

As a former CIA analyst and former NSC official who edited transcripts of POTUS phone calls with foreign leaders, here are my thoughts on the whistleblower complaint which was just released

2/ This is not an intelligence matter. It is a policy matter and a complaint about differences over policy. Presidential phone calls are not an intelligence concern. The fact that IC officers transcribe these calls does not give the IC IG jusrisdiction over these calls.

3/ It appears that rules restricting access and knowledge of these sensitive calls was breached. This official was not on this call, not on the approved dissem list and should not have been briefed on the call.

3/ The way this complaint was written suggested the author had a lot of help. I know from my work on the House Intel Commitee staff that many whistleblowers go directly to the intel oversight committees. Did this whistleblower first meet with House Intel committee members?

/ It is therefore important that Congress find out where this complaint came from. What did House and Senate intel committee dem members and staff know about it and when? Did they help orchestrate this complaint?

5/ My view is that this whistleblower complaint is too convenient and too perfect to come from a typical whistleblower. Were other IC officers involved? Where outside groups opposed to the president involved?

6/ This complaint will further damage IC relations with the White House for many years to come because IC officers appear to be politicizing presidential phone calls with foreign officials and their access to the president and his activities in the White House.

7/ Worst of all, this IC officer — and probably others — have blatantly crossed the line into policy. This violates a core responsibility of IC officers is to inform, but not make policy.

8/ This is such a grevious violation of trust between the IC and the White House that it would not surprise me if IC officers are barred from all access to POTUS phone calls with foreign officials.

In other totalitarian Lib new, Mark Eldridge, the Exec Super of Montgomery County MD, has struck again. After forbidding police to cooperate with ICE even in the face of 8 arrests of illegals for rape of children in one month, he has turned to climate change and on his own authority declared that all new residences built in the county must have solar panels. So, naturally, there will be far fewer new units built, prices will skyrocket but then they get to more in property taxes! majik!

    @ eaglesoars:

Interesting. Word is out that Schifty had the complaint back in August and is bloviating that they needed to have the complaint “sooner”. I’m just spitballin’ but it was announced awhile ago that Durham was also charged with looking into Ukraine’s role in getting information to the Democrats (Manafort) during the 2016 – essentially “colluding” with the Democrats. This is to get in front of that.

John Solomon of The Hill was on both Hannity and Levin yesterday, saying that he’ll be publishing today and that he has documents that completely implicate JOE Biden in the strongarming of Ukraine over the investigation of his son. Of course, Biden is such a demented dick that he’s actually stated that he wanted the prosecutor fired because he was going “too easy” on the company that hired his sleazy son in their investigation.

Biden’s done. It’s going to be Warren.

I’m really curious about another part of the timing of all this. WHEN did we first learn that Durham was including Ukraine’s role in the 2016 election as part of his investigation? Because it would not surprise me if this was, like the Russian collusion garbage, an attempt by the Clinton/Obama/DNC camps to deflect revelations (which we all know but which the MSM has completely ignored) that Ukraine offered and DNC took damaging information on Manafort in an attempt to injure Trump.

  80. 80 | September 26, 2019 3:34 pm

    @ eaglesoars:

I understood John Solomon was going to be putting out some really damning stuff on Biden today – including official documents from the Ukraine and quotes from the prosecutor. If I heard it correctly yesterday, Biden apparently told this gas company that it would be helpful for them to put “an American” on their board.

Hannity just announced that Solomon will be on at the top of the hour (4:00 EDT, after the news) so we should be getting some good stuff.

  82. 82 | September 26, 2019 4:34 pm

    @ eaglesoars:

Here’s what I got so far in a nutshell. The Ukraine government was very upset about both the antics of Biden getting the prosecutor fired and the evidence of collusion with Ukraine to the Clinton Campaign/DNC in digging up dirt on Trump and his associates during the 2016 campaign.

They have been trying for several years to give the evidence of this to the U.S. They had contacted the DOJ in 2017 to try to talk to them, but were rebuffed (Sessions being the louse that he was and we know Rosenweasel was doing everything he could to stop Trump), tried the State Department and finally approached the President. It was not Trump that brought Biden up – it was the Ukraine government.

The fired prosecutor said that right after he was fired, the investigation into the company and Biden’s son was pretty much shelved. There are records of the company meeting with the new prosecutor.

There is credible evidence that Biden’s current story about why he wanted prosecutor fired is inaccurate and inconsistent. Biden says he was “corrupt.” In actuality, State Dept., Biden and other gov’t officials smeared the prosecutor with false information to make it appear he was corrupt and therefore they were justified in wanting him fired.

In other news, Durham has now asked for all information and documents on Ukraine’s COLLUSION with the Democrats re the 2016 election. Hmmm….the timing of this complaint having to do with Ukraine phone call is almost too damn convenient.

John Solomon’s piece on The Hill just landed

These once-secret memos cast doubt on Joe Biden’s Ukraine story

Ukrainian prosecutors say they have tried to get this information to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) since the summer of 2018, fearing it might be evidence of possible violations of U.S. ethics laws. First, they hired a former federal prosecutor to bring the information to the U.S. attorney in New York, who, they say, showed no interest. Then, the Ukrainians reached out to President Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.

Ukraine’s new president, Volodymer Zelensky, told Trump in July that he plans to launch his own wide-ranging investigation into what happened with the Bidens and Burisma.

Trump, has been raising hundreds of millions of dollars, putting any eventual 2020 rival in a bind as about 20 Democrats vie for their party’s nomination.

Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee have raised over $100 million in the second quarter. A large portion of that haul came from wealthy donors who gave to their joint fundraising committee, Trump Victory. In August, the RNC raised just over $23 million and has $53 million on hand.

The Democratic National Committee have struggled to keep up. The DNC finished August bringing in $7.9 million and has $7.2 million in debt.

Wall Street Democratic Donors Warn The Party: We’ll Sit Out, Or Back Trump, if You Nominate Elizabeth Warren

Democratic donors on Wall Street and in big business are preparing to sit out the presidential campaign fundraising cycle — or even back President Donald Trump — if Sen. Elizabeth Warren wins the party’s nomination.

In recent weeks, CNBC spoke to several high-dollar Democratic donors and fundraisers in the business community and found that this opinion was becoming widely shared as Warren, an outspoken critic of big banks and corporations, gains momentum against Joe Biden in the 2020 race.

“You’re in a box because you’re a Democrat and you’re thinking, ‘I want to help the party, but she’s going to hurt me, so I’m going to help President Trump,’” said a senior private equity executive, who spoke on condition of anonymity in fear of retribution by party leaders. The executive said this Wednesday, a day after Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that the House would begin a formal impeachment inquiry into Trump.

During the campaign, Warren has put out multiple plans intended to curb the influence of Wall Street, including a wealth tax. In July, she released a proposal that would make private equity firms responsible for debts and pension obligations of companies they buy. Trump, meanwhile, has given wealthy business leaders a helping hand with a major corporate tax cut and by eliminating regulations.

The New York Times‘s Michael Barbaro criticized conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt, saying he attacked “a candidate’s child,” 49-year-old Hunter Biden.

“As this fellow circulates personal attacks on a candidates child, remember he’s paid by NBC and MSNBC,” tweeted Barbaro, host of The Daily podcast, about Hewitt’s interview with Sen. Tom Cotton (R., Ark.), which touched on Hunter Biden.

In the interview, Cotton cited Hunter’s various character issues, such as drug and alcohol abuse, as evidence he was only hired by a Ukrainian gas company because he is the son of then-vice president Joe Biden. “What do we think that oligarch believed he was buying?” Cotton asked. “He was buying access and influence to the Biden family.”

    @ Gateway Pundit
Good morning. Pursuing the blogs this whistleblower blower is coming into focus.
He is a CIA operative who had temporary assignment to the White House.
He has no first hand knowledge and is close to Brennan. His report appears to be prepared by an attorney. and references a Soros funded NGO three times.
To me this looks like a Swamp Deep State hit job.
After 9/11 these agencies were give unprecedented power. It looks like they are serving notice that they are in charge , not some guy that the people elected.

NYT Journalist Shames Hugh Hewitt For Attacking ‘Candidate’s Child,’ 49-Year-Old Hunter Biden

Don Jr, Erik, Ivanka and Barron’s shock at this statement set off the seismic sensors at the University of California, Berkeley.

How does it feel to fall for the “Pissboy” bull, the creation of Russia’s Director of Foreign Intelligence Service, Vyacheslav Trubnikov and Putin’s right-hand thug, Vladislav Surkov?

Your assertion that Trump asked a foreign gov’t to investigate a former VP is a lie.

I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike….
    .
    .
    .
There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it…

He asked him to look into Crowdstrike and into why the prosecution was halted BECAUSE THE FORMER VP WAS BRAGGING ABOUT HAVING BLACKMAILED THE UKRANIAN GOV’T WITH U.S. AID $$$.

And if you read thru the supporting docs that have been made available you will see that Ukraine came to the U.S. FIRST, trying to get the attention of U.S. authorities, to no avail.

I would suggest that before you swagger in here with your puerile arrogance expecting any of us to bow down before your oh-so-superior self-importance

I remember that. Part of the problem – and I admit I was one of the ones who simply did not believe it – was the idea of ‘deep state’. It wasn’t until I saw PBS ‘The United States of Secrets’ and talked to a friend with intel connections that I started to ‘get it’. And altho I don’t recall personally giving you any shit, if I did, I sincerely and deeply apologize. I was wrong.

More than 6,300 adults have died from reactions to a drug that is used as a puberty blocker in gender-confused children, Food & Drug Administration data reportedly shows.

“Between 2012 and June 30 of this year, the FDA documented over 40,764 adverse reactions suffered by patients who took Leuprolide Acetate (Lupron), which is used as a hormone blocker. More than 25,500 reactions logged from 2014-2019 were considered ‘serious,’ including 6,370 deaths,” The Christian Post reported on Thursday.

“Lupron is being prescribed off-label for use in children who have been diagnosed with gender dysphoria despite the lack of formal FDA approval for that purpose,” the outlet explained. “The drug is clinically approved for treatment of precocious puberty, a condition where children start their pubertal processes at an abnormally early age and the blocker is administered for a short time until the proper age.”

I guess now that he’s out of office they no longer have to pretend they’re the Washington DC Huxtables. I would not be surprised if Barry and Jarrett were urging Mooch to run so that Barry and Val could be back running the show and she basically said “eff you, I’m rich – I’m going to the South of France – I’m not living this sideshow anymore.”
