Gingrich Brings Romney’s Actions at Bain Capital To The Spotlight

Bain was predatory, and wont play well in flyover county where they destroyed the manufacturing base for a one time payoff. Romney – Soros, same tactics, same result, the destruction of real wealth.

Attack ads to blast Mitt Romney’s work at Bain Capital

A ‘super PAC’ backing Newt Gingrich is financing a campaign that aims to show Romney destroyed jobs while running a venture capital firm.

Reporting from Washington—

Voters in South Carolina are about to witness an attack on Mitt Romney and the work of a private equity firm that made him wealthy and has provided the underpinnings for his appeal to voters.

The assault will come Monday in the form of a planned $1-million-plus advertising campaign. The effort, which may expand to other states, is sponsored by an independent political group backing Newt Gingrich that has received donations from some of the country’s most ardent conservatives.

The group, Winning Our Future, promises a sustained attack on Romney and the company he formed, Bain Capital. “We will buy whatever it takes to get people to understand Romney’s real record of deliberate job destruction,” said Rick Tyler, a longtime Gingrich aide who works now as a senior adviser to the “super PAC” backing the former House speaker.

The ads are expected to focus on the plight of workers who were laid off after their employers were purchased by Bain Capital. Romney founded the venture capital company in 1984 after working for the Bain consulting firm, and throughout the campaign he has boasted of the jobs he created during his tenure.

Anger at Romney and others in the financial elite has been roiling throughout this election season. But the criticism has come mostly from the left. Next week’s wave of complaints are an attempt to spread the anger among Republicans, in whose hands Gingrich’s future rests.

In recent days, Romney has sought to distinguish his background by defending his brand of capitalism and scoring President Obama for what he terms “crony capitalism” — using government resources to benefit firms and organizations that back his political career.

“This is not capitalism,” Tyler said Saturday of Bain’s record. “This is predatory paper-shuffling.”

The new effort drew a harsh response from Romney backers.

“It’s puzzling to see Speaker Gingrich and his supporters continue their attacks on free enterprise,” said Romney campaign spokeswoman Andrea Saul. “… Unlike President Obama and Speaker Gingrich, Mitt Romney spent his career in business and knows what it will take to turn around our nation’s bad economy.”

Gingrich came in for harsh criticism several weeks ago when he raised questions about job losses resulting from leveraged buyout deals in which Romney took part at Bain Capital.

The disagreement underscores a divide among Republicans like Romney, who defend the behavior of Wall Street entrepreneurs, and others who have been seething at some activities of the financial elite.

The ads rely on footage from a film critical of Romney that was just completed by a former Romney ally, Jason Meath, who collaborated in 2008 with Romney adviser Stuart Stevens to produce pro-Romney ads.

The film, called “When Mitt Romney Came to Town,” focuses on four companies that Bain Capital took over in the 1980s and 1990s. It includes interviews with workers and residents in Marion, Ind., where a plant owned by Ampad, a paper products company, was shut down after Bain Capital acquired the firm.

Often, Bain would come in, buy a company and then extend its borrowing limits. Then max out the credit line and then, *BLAMMO* declare the company as bankrupt and sell off the assets. while the Bain Execs kept the borrowed money leaving the company’s stock holders, bondholders with partial payments at best or often like the employees, nothing.

On this blog we relentlessly beat up George Soros for doing exactly the same things. This is not free enterprise, this is not capitalism. This is destruction of wealth, no matter how Romney’s people try to spin this.

Here is the commercial for the film: THAT WAS PULLED, and now is back

So here is part one and two extended trailers, thx fritz cat

A pro-Gingrich “super PAC” is planning to air a blistering new attack video in South Carolina on Mitt Romney, depicting the GOP presidential front-runner as a corporate “raider” whose firm “destroyed the dreams of thousands of Americans” by buying up companies and firing its workers.

The film, titled “King of Bain: When Mitt Romney Came to Town,” — was made by a former Romney advertising adviser. Its contents mirror attacks that have been made for months by political surrogates of President Barack Obama on Romney’s years as the chief officer of the Bain Capital investment firm.

“For the first time, this film will show what Bain Capital actually did,” said Rick Tyler, a senior adviser to Winning Our Future, a pro-Gingrich super PAC that acquired the rights to the movie on Friday. The super PAC is posting a two-minute trailer from the 27-minute film on a website Saturday.

“They targeted companies … they raided them … and thousands of workers lost their jobs. This is not capitalism. This is predatory,” Tyler said.

Soros’ Latest Israel Project

I have been reading the reports in Israel about the clashes between the Ultra Orthadox and other residents of Israel with a sad heart. I should have known that George Soros had his grubby paw prints all over it. How can a man hate his own people so much that he has dedicated his life to ruining their homeland and urging the world to hate them as well? I just don’t understand.

Soros’ Latest Israel Project

If you have been seeing coverage of gender segregation issues in Israel then you may not be aware that you are actually seeing another Soros project in motion. The name of the game, as usual, is divide and conquer. Soros funded NGO’s embed themselves into a society and leverage its weakness to create confrontations that empower its activists and agendas.

While Israel does have neighborhoods in Jerusalem where a few Anti-Zionist cults practice their own form of intimidation and thuggery (if you have seen men in black protesting outside Israeli events, then you have seen some of these people at work) this particular crisis is the work of Soros funded NGO’s who have their own agenda, and it isn’t gender equality or women’s rights.

Soros’ money helps fund the New Israel Fund, a radical anti-Israel group operating inside the country which serves as the mothership of smaller left-wing Israeli organizations targeting demographic groups and organizing them under the umbrella of its movement.

In the following video, Rachel Liel, the executive director of the New Israel Fund, talks fairly openly about the New Israel Fund’s goals and its shift in tactics from funding confrontations between religious and secular Jews, to funding internal confrontations among religious Jews.

The material is old hat for anyone familiar with how Communist and New Left groups operate, the game here is to leverage the billions of dollars at the disposal of the American Left to sow discord within the State of Israel, and to create a constituency for the New Left with the endgame of destroying the country. The money passes through multiple NGO’s as grants and trickles down through the New Israel Fund to groups that can be used to carry out its agenda.

The left’s blueprint remains the same– exploit social problems within a target country, recruit a fifth column of the disaffected and build a permanent political base for permanent power, while at the same time overturning the culture and its values.

Soros’ people in Israel began their work with Arabs, they moved on to exploiting tensions between secular and religious Jews, and now they have pushed further into to stirring up conflicts among religious Jews. The deeper they get, the more damage they cause.

Please read it all. It’s a real eye opener.

Does the #Occupy Movement Speak for You?

Lech Walesa
Lech Walesa rejects OWS

Some of the #Occupy movement signs and slogans seem to resonate with many onlookers. Maybe it’s because they’ve stolen a few talking points (but very little else) from the Tea Party. Maybe it’s because the sympathetic mainstream media carefully edits out what they don’t want you to see.

Let’s take a closer look.

Is this you?

Are you frustrated and angry about unemployment, inflation, the decreasing economic opportunities, the burden of debt, and the declining standard of living in North America, much of Europe, and elsewhere? Are you worried about the sovereign debt problems that bedevil the international financial system?

So am I.

Do you empathize with those struggling to make ends meet in low-paid, part-time jobs? Do you consider bailouts to be unconstitutional, politically and economically unwise, and morally wrong? Do you believe that the Federal Reserve system puts too much power into the hands of too few people who are not accountable to the voters and taxpayers?

So do I.

The Occupy movement blames our predicament on “billionaires”, “rich corporations”, and “Wall Street bankers”. They offer no basis for their accusations, but merely pander to the temptations of envy, sloth, and greed to which all of us are prone.

I agree with Herman Cain in placing most of the blame on Barack Obama and his failed policies. I also blame other public officials in the US and elsewhere whose policies brought about our financial downfall.

Whose side are they on?

Let’s see…the Occubaggers have got the commies, the socialists, the anarchists, the American Nazi Party, the George Soros front groups including the Open Society Institute, the Tides Foundation, and MoveOn.org, along with Code Pink and Michael Moore, the Muslim Brotherhood and its front group CAIR (more about CAIR and its connections here and here), the SEIU, the AFL-CIO, the leftist establishment media including the New York Times and the Washington Post, Frances Fox Piven, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Ayatollah Khamenei, Hugo Chavez, David Duke, and, of course, that architect of failure and scapegoater-in-chief, Barack Hussein Obama himself.

Along for the ride are the aging drugged-out hippies reliving Woodstock, the young drugged-out prep school and college kids looking for a place to fornicate al fresco, the paid shills, the student loan debtors with useless degrees, the trust-fund babies, the anti-Semites, the LGBT nudists, the race-card players, the outdoor urinators and defecators, the pro-abort feminazis, the tree-huggers, the vegans, and the mentally ill. (Many of these categories overlap.) Rounding out the rogue’s gallery are various drug dealers, crackheads, junkies, thieves, rapists, street bums and other lumpenproletariat, and felons hiding out from the law.

None of them speak for me.

Nor do they speak for Lech Walesa.

Former Polish President Won’t Attend #OccupyWallStreet After Citizen Journalists Expose Its Radical Roots

Lech Walesa, former president of Poland, champion in the fight against communism, and winner of the Liberty Medal and Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1989, has decided to not make a trip to New York in support of the Occupy Wall Street protests.

Last week the AP reported that Walesa was backing the Occupy “movement” and considered traveling to New York in support of the growing nationwide mob activity that currently plagues the United States. However, when former Illinois gubernatorial candidate Adam Andrzejewski, (For the Good of Illinois) found out about this, he quickly reached out to his contacts in Poland to alert the former president to the truth behind this radical movement.

“We made the point that the political themes of Occupy Wall Street may have started out with some of the principles that we share, but OWS themes were rapidly being morphed into anti-freedom and anti-liberty messages. At the core is the want for a big, powerful central government to dominate the lives of individual citizens.” -Andrzejewski

In his write-up last night at BigGovernment.com, Andrzejewski stated that with the help of BigGoverment and other sources, he was able to convey an accurate picture of the Occupy movement, particularly that it is “…organized by anarchists, Code Pink, the American Communist movement, jihadists, anti-Israel, socialist, and anti- free enterprise interests.” After reviewing this information about the true nature of the demonstrations, Walesa and his team withdrew their support and will not be attending any Occupy protests.

We were overjoyed to learn that recent Rebel Pundit investigative reports and footage were able to play an an important role in Walesa’s decision. According to Andrzejewski:

“They appreciated the inside info- they weren’t getting that in Poland from the European media.”

Much more here.

So…does the #Occupy movement speak for you? Unless you truly are a leftist, with all that this implies, the answer is no.

Blazing Cat Fur has the story:

Tuesday, September 20 · 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Temple Sinai, 210 Wilson Avenue, Toronto, Ontario

Please join those of us who care to eventually see the elimination of the false rhetoric spewed by the likes of seditious financier George Soros’, and his pathetically sycophantic entourage, known pejoratively as J Street, at the questionably willing Temple Sinai Synagogue, in a simulcast.

It does make a considerable impact when both those Jews who are aware of the propaganda (and those who surprisingly aren’t) are visually outed as extended supporters, provocateurs and parties to truly despicable Israeli/Jewish denunciations and falsehoods. As these patrons continue to show their defiance and dishonor, we will remind them, by our presence, that they have been seen and acknowledged as aiders and abettors of the Muslim Brotherhood.

If you wish to call the Temple Sinai Synagogue at: 416 487 4161 or email Rabbi Dolgin at: dolgin@templesinai.net feel free to do so. And let all like-minded people know as well.
