Oil Prices are now closing in on $56 a barrel. The government is doing nothing about this surge and this will erode the incomes of Americans.
Oil prices jump to new high for the year
SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota (AP) — Oil prices hit a new high for the year Wednesday ahead of a U.S. government report on the levels of crude in storage that have neared 19-year highs recently.
Benchmark crude for June delivery rose $1.42 cents to $55.26 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, levels not seen since November.
I hold Obama, Oil companies and the Wall St. Speculators responsible for this. Obama passed a $700 Billion Stimulus plan. He should of spent that money to develop cheap alternative energy and get us off oil. The Cap and Trade idiocy is another reason prices are rising, the speculators are using that as a pretext.The Oil companies love high oil prices and they are in cahoots with the Islamo-Fascist regime of Saudi Arabia. The Saudis wants high oil for their Jihad and the Traitorous Oil Companies are happy to comply. The Wall St. Speculators don’t care about America and are happy just to make more money. They will do this even if it means helping our enemies. I put National Interest over Corporate Interests, that is my philosophy.
