I may be just a little jaded when it comes to anything ACORN, however, I get this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when I hear that the Census Bureau has partnered with ACORN to do our head count. The Census Bureau will not partner with police and several other groups but ACORN is acceptable. This had me screaming at the television. Once I settled myself, I went straight for my computer and started emailing all of my state reps. I started at the local level and emailed all the way to the U.S. Congress. Please join me in asking that our representatives use whatever pressure they have to force an end to the relationship between the Census Bureau and ACORN. Don’t let them get by with it!
This isn’t breaking news, but please don’t let it become forgotten news and remember only after it is too late!
Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has obtained documents from the U.S. Census Bureau detailing the substantial involvement of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) in the 2010 Census. Included among the 126 pages of documents, obtained by Judicial Watch under threat of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, is ACORN’s original Census partnership application. The document describes 18 different areas of responsibility requested by the community organization, which is under investigation in multiple states for illegal activity during the 2008 election, including voter registration fraud.
Don’t just sit there… DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! We have to show them how we feel!
