Not the type of hope and change most Americans really want, but that won’t stop TOTUS.

Ahmed Ghailani, wanted for his alleged role in the 1998 bombings of our U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania will be arraigned in New York today. Ahmed was captured in 2004 in Pakistan and transferred to Gitmo in 2006. So no military trial for him, he gets a nice civilian one in federal court, how nice of TOTUS to do that.

I wonder if Ahmed is eligible for the death penalty and if convicted, will he get that or life in prison on the American tax payer dime?

Ghailani was indicted in 1998 for the Al Qaeda bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, attacks which killed more than 224 people, including 12 Americans.
