Anti-Progressive Rally in Washinton, DC.

I really didn’t want to write about politics today, as its a weekend but I have to do a post on this. Today a large crowd of Conservatives/Libertarians gathered to protest the Totalitarian Progressive Regime in Washington. It was a larger than expected crowd. Still no official estimates to report. The 9/12 march was attended by average everyday Americans who are tired of the direction of their nation towards a Neo-Feudal System.

Tens of thousands of conservative protesters crowded outside the U.S. Capitol on Saturday, a massive demonstration aimed at stopping what organizers called the over-expansion of the federal government under the Obama administration.

“Hell hath no fury like a taxpayer scorned,” declared Andrew Moylan, head of government affairs for the National Taxpayer Union, urging protesters to call their representatives. “You’re being ignored today by the media and some politicians.”

The crowd — loud, rambunctious and sprawling — gathered at the foot of the Capitol after a march along Pennsyvania Avenue from Freedom Plaza. Invocations of God and former President Reagan by an array of speakers drew loud cheers, echoing across the Mall. On a windy, overcast afternoon, hundreds of yellow “Don’t Tread on Me” flags flapped in the breeze, mingled with U.S. and Texas state flags.

“We own the dome,” the crowd chanted loudly, pointing at the Capitol.

The Tea party Movement, Town Hall protests and the 9/12 March are signs that the Right is finally learning the tactics of the Left. It is usually Progressives that do protests and marches, however the Right is now doing them as well. The tactics of Saul Alinsky are being implemented by Conservative/Libertarians and it is bothering the Left. Hopefully, the Right can continue organizing as the Left does and beat them at their own game.

I salute those that went to this event and hope many others will be organized in the future.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
