This is week 2 of the the NFL Playoffs and this is the scenario so far:

The Indianapolis Colts defeated the Baltimore Ravens 20-3 to Advance to the AFC championship. Their controversial decision to rest their starters seemed to payoff on the Defensive end. Manning and the offense did enough to win the game, but they were not the high octane offense of earlier years. It was Indy’s defense that won the game forcing 4 turnovers.

The New Orleans Saints demolished the Phoenix Cardinals. Reggie Bush was the star of the game. He had a Punt return touchdown and carried for 84 yards. This was his best pro game and he looked like the Bush who played at USC. The Saints answered the critics and played like they did in September/October. On both Offense and Defense they dominated and the Cardinals had no chance. This could well be Kurt Warner’s last game and it’s a shame he lost in this manner. They now host the NFC Championship next week.

Today’s 1st game at 1:00 PM is the Minnesota Vikings vs. Dallas Cowboys. This Is the reason Brett Farve was brought in, to get the Vikings to advance in the playoffs to the Superbowl. However, in his path is the hottest team in the NFC, the Cowboys. For years Dallas were December chokers not this year, they won their last 3 and won their 1st playoff game in 16 years. Romo is playing at his best and the Defense is on point. The winner plays New Orleans for the NFC Championship.

At 4:45 the San Diego Chargers are hosting the Much hyped NY Jets. The NY media have made out Jets QB Mark Sanchez out to be the new Joe Namath. He is a rookie and will be facing what is arguably the best team in Football. Philip Rivers is playing his best football this year. However, the Jets have the 41 defense and are tough to score against. The Winner plays the Colts for the AFC championship.

Enjoy this game and any topic is allowed and encouraged!

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
