PLA wants China to sell US bonds

Barack Hussein Obama has made America more vulnerable than ever. His spending binge is in part financed by Chinese capital. Don’t fool yourselves about how dangerous it is. China, which was Maoist, has morphed into a Nationalist Fascist 3rd Way regime. Their goal is to re-establish Chinese domination of Asia. Personally, I couldn’t care less about Taiwan, but the fact that Chinese generals want their government to retaliate against US for arm sales is a worrying sign.

BEIJING (Reuters) – Senior Chinese military officers have proposed that their country boost defense spending, adjust PLA deployments, and possibly sell some U.S. bonds to punish Washington for its latest round of arms sales to Taiwan.

The calls for broad retaliation over the planned U.S. weapons sales to the disputed island came from officers at China’s National Defence University and Academy of Military Sciences, interviewed by Outlook Weekly, a Chinese-language magazine published by the official Xinhua news agency.

The interviews with Major Generals Zhu Chenghu and Luo Yuan and Senior Colonel Ke Chunqiao appeared in the issue published on Monday.

A decade ago this would have been laughed at. However, this is very serious thanks to the bi-partisan irresponsible spending policies of the last nine years. Obama blames Bush, but this is akin to someone complaining about credit card debt by maxing out five more cards. For the sake of economic and national security we need a balanced budget.  We should not be vulnerable to Chinese blackmailing.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
