Establishment Republicans don’t get it

The Tea Party Movement has been the largest grass roots movement in the American Political scene since the Civil Rights Movement of the 60’s. Despite the attacks of the Progressive machine and it’s media propaganda outlets, the Tea Party continues to gain momentum. The Left is on the defensive as their Ideology is being exposed for it’s Neo-Feudal Fascistic nature. However, the Republican establishment is not thrilled with this movement. Sen. Orin Hatch, who is an Elitist Dhimmi Republican, is just the latest on the Right to attack this movement. Instead of applauding the Tea Parties, he wants them to bow to the demands of the GOP Establishment.

Sen. Orrin Hatch has a message for the Tea Party movement: Work with the GOP or see conservatives lose more ground.

“If we fractionalize the Republican Party, we are going to see more liberals elected,” Hatch warned a crowd of 300 at a town meeting at American Fork Junior High School on Wednesday night, amid jeers from Tea Party supporters.

Hatch blamed extreme conservatives for the 2008 defeat of Sen. Gordon Smith, a politically moderate but fiscally conservative Republican from Oregon.

Hatch said if the Tea Party had not backed a constitutionalist candidate in that race, Smith wouldn’t have lost to Democrat Jeff Merkley, whom Hatch described as “the most liberal senator,” by 45,000 votes.

Orin Hatch is clearly lying about the defeat of Gordon Smith. The Tea Parties were not the force they are now. There were some around, but nothing like it has been over the last year. Maybe if Sen Smith had not been supporting Progressive policies he wouldn’t have lost those votes. Rather than blame themselves for their failings the Progressive elites of the GOP blames Conservative voters. This is a typical elitist, blame the people attitude that the Left displays.

If Orin Hatch doesn’t like the Tea parties, he should keep his mouth shut and get out of the way. We don’t need Progressive Republicans who kowtow their Progressive Democratic allies by attacking Conservatives/Libertarians. If they spent half the amount attacking the Left the way they attack their own side, we wouldn’t be in this mess. Utah voters deserve better than this Elitist snob!

Update:In a related story Senate GOP Candidate Marco Rubio wooed the crowed at CPAC  yesterday. He is now ahead of Establishment Republican Charlie Crist. It is clear from this that Republican voters are no longer following the wishes of Part leaders. Rubio is he goes on to win the Senate Seat is the Democrats worst nightmare, He’s a charismatic Rightwing Latin who knows the evils of Progressvism.
