Blogmocracy in Action!

Report from Organizing For America (O.F.A.) meeting in Orange County, California:

Please note: “The O.C.” is quite a conservative area of California. There are many small business owners here as well as professionals who have worked hard almost all their lives and enjoy the fruits of their labor that such hard work brings. While the demographics have changed some (white, black, brown, Asian, whatever…it is a cosmopolitan ‘burb), it is still mostly conservative….

I didn’t make it on time to the meeting (scheduled for 2-6 PM) but did get there in time to see who was there, get some of the material(s) that were being passed out and speak to the main organizer (Cathy). The meeting had the taste and feel of a Jehovah’s Witness meeting, with discussion about how to knock on door to ‘spread the word about Obama’, how important it was to listen to others’ point of view, what to do if someone starts to rant at you and so on. There were about 50 people there, with about 20-25% of the people being minorities (this, according to the US Government’s definition of minority). I would estimate that 35% of the people were younger than 25 years of age and the rest were older than that. I didn’t ask specifically who were members of a union but, having worked at quite a few union shops and jobsites in the past, I’d estimate that well over 50% of the people were members of a union or where sympathetic to one (again, this was only from observation). After the 1st half of the initiation ended and the intermission commenced, I found Cathy (the organizer) and started speaking to her. One of the questions I asked her was “what do you think are three of President Obama’s strongest areas?” Her answers were starling to me:

#1. He sees people’s better angels in them (meaning that he can see the good in all people, even America’s enemies) and works with all people to better America.

#2. He can see things much better than others. He can see things from all angles and make the “hard decisions” that need to be made.

#3. He is vastly smarter than the average person. Because of this vastly superior intellect, he can make the right decisions as opposed to other people.

I then asked her to list three of President Obama’s weakest areas….

IMAGINE my *shock* when this lady could not think of one single thing. There was an awkward silence as I waited for her to come up with just ONE single thing. It was after a prolonged time that I finally pointed out that the homosexual community is starting to heckle him for his official position on homosexual’s marrying each other. He attitude was that he *has* to say things like that, but that is okay because he really does support it and it is all just a ruse. I pointed out to her that when the average American voter starts to see the duplicity of him, they will no longer trust him and, thus, not vote for him. I even recounted to her what happened to G.H. Bush in the past with the promise of “Read my lips…no new taxes”. She roundly damned Bush for this, doing one thing and then doing another. When I pointed out that President Obama is doing the same thing, she quickly deferred and said that she was only a local organizer and the ‘National things’ are left to others to control and orchestrate.

What chilled me to the bone when conversing with this lady was her *ABSOLUTE* devotion to this guy.

He.
Can.
Do.
No.
Wrong.

Period, period, period.

There *ARE* no faults with him. He *HAS* no weak areas.

Numbers beg to differ, of course. I’m an engineer. I love numbers. They are neither negative or positive. They are neither Democrat, Republican or Independent. They are what they are. If you click on the link and do the math, you will begin to discover just how quickly America will start experiencing the massive hyper-inflation that Zimbabwe and other countries experience when they start printing money in mass quantity (like Obama is instructing the Treasury to do).

…and this lady will still love Obama. She (and those like her) will walk, no…RUN down the path to hell with him, arm in arm, all the way to the grisly end (so to speak).

The take away from this whole meeting is that it appears November is going to be *THE* pivotal moment in our young Democracy: if the people who were at this meeting aren’t some how set against each other and their efforts to get more Democrats into office thwarted, America will be doomed to fiscal ruin: After a certain point, the numbers cannot be reversed (think debt service and you’ll see what I mean). Hyper-inflation will be fait accompli, even if it isn’t something that you are experiencing in December of 2010, you soon will. All the financial seeds will have been sown and, with the Democrats still in power, all that will be left is to watch the fruit of such fiscal madness to bloom.

I think I discovered their weakness, though, and we (those who love America) need to exploit it for all it is worth.

IMHO, it has to do with two issues: of homosexuals, lesbians, transgenders, et al. marrying and of abortion.

When it comes to marriage, President Obama has already stated his support for marriage being between a man and a woman. We need get him to confirm this over and over, everywhere he goes. Why? Because this is a sore spot in the progressive community and we need to bring it up often so that those who support gay marriage abandon the Democratic party in the 2010 election. The other reason is that if Obama suddenly has a ‘change of heart’ on this issue right before the 2010 election, we can then beat him silly with the proven fact that Obama is a liar (He’s a ‘flopper’, if you will).

We’ve got him either way. One way, we cause the liberals to start turning on each other and split them (greatly diminishing their power and influence at this “Community Organizing” nonsense). The other way we can show what an untrustworthy person his is when it comes to his word.

We also need to start ‘pumping up the volume’ of how much the Democratic party supports abortion. Talk about it often. Write letters to the Editors of your local paper. Tell all your acquaintances. Especially make note of it to your Hispanic friends.

Obama is now pushing for Illegal Immigration reform that will allow millions to get amnesty again. While I cannot be sure about his motives, it appears that he may be doing this so as to bolster his party’s numbers in 2010. WE CAN TURN THIS AGAINST THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY BY POINTING OUT TO THESE PEOPLE WHAT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY STANDS FOR IN REGARDS TO ABORTION! We (those who love America) can actually use this tactic of Obama’s against him by showing these people that they would be voting against one of their core convictions. The Hispanic Community doesn’t take their cultural convictions lightly. Abortion is completely prohibited by family, culture and religious belief. We need to ‘inform’ these potential voters that they will be supporting the devil, if they vote for Obama.

Last thought: these people at this OFA meeting thought enough of what they believed to take a good portion of their time on a Sunday afternoon to meet and discuss how they are going to continue their take-over of America. What are the true Patriots of America willing to do in response? Are you willing to start up an Organizing For Freedom (OFF), and start sacrificing your time to contact your neighbors to turn these politicians out of office?

The stakes are *extremely* high, IMHO. I trust that we are a smart enough group of bloggers to start doing the smart thing, the sacrificial thing, and start beating back the efforts of these sincere, but sincerely mis-guided people.

Play nice!
