Colombia under Alvaro Uribe has been a success of Conservative government in Latin America. His economic policies have produced growth and he’s crushed the Progressive FARC rebels. He’s stood up to Totalitarian Progressive Hugo Chavez and is a staunch supporter of Israel. He is everything our President Barack Hussein Obama isn’t. The Colombian Supreme Court recently barred him from running for a 3rd term. Due to this, he is backing his former Defense Minister Juan Manuel Santos for the Presidency.

Santos’ opponent in this election is former Bogota Mayor Mayor Antanas Mockus of the Green Party, son of Lithuanian immigrants to Colombia. He is a member of the Green Party and is a Progressive. It was an open secret that the Obama wanted Mockus to win. Well the Colombian people have spoken and once again Obama suffers a defeat.

Early results from Colombia’s presidential poll are giving a clear lead to former Defence Minister Juan Manuel Santos.

With almost all the votes counted, Mr Santos – who is supported by popular incumbent Alvaro Uribe – is credited with about 47% of the vote.

The results give about 21% to his main rival, former Bogota Mayor Antanas Mockus of the Green Party.

If confirmed, the figures point to a run-off on 20 June.

To win outright, a candidate needs more than half of the vote.

Mr Santos, of the Social National Unity Party, has promised to continue the tough security policies of Mr Uribe – who cannot run after having served two terms.

Mr Mockus has put more emphasis on education and fighting corruption.

Colombians are rejecting Progressivism and Barack Hussein Obama. Hopefully Americans will do the same.

Update: Israel is now being condemned by the usual suspects for their legitimate actions. Turkey cancelled a joint exercise and is recalling their ambassadors. This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Turkey is in the Islamic-Imperialist camp.
