This video by Michael McDonald was from the movie Running Scared. I was 11 when this video came out in the summer of 1986 and I have fond memories of that summer. New Wave Club and Electro was still dominant in New York City. House Music and Hop Hop were beginning their rise on the streets. This song was a jam everyone liked. From the B-Boys in the parks, to the Yuppies on Wall Street partying in Manhattan. I feel this song encapsulates a happy time in America. Our last great President Ronald Reagan was in charge and our economy was really booming. I feel I will never experience good times like this again and neither will this nation, despite the media’s lies of an Obama Boom.

The video like the movie was filmed on Key West (calling Natasha). Enjoy and remember the good times of America’s golden age (1945-2000).

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
