Blogmocracy in Action!
Guest post by: Huckfunn!

In spite of the growing glacier of scientific evidence against anthropogenic (man made) global warming (AGW), the Obama Regime continues to budget billions of dollars per year to fund more R&D for this quackery. Last year the Senate quashed Cap and Trade legislation which had been passed by the democrat controlled House. Recent polls show that while most Americans are concerned about environmental issues, they continue to be feel that the seriousness of global warming is over exaggerated. And yet the Regime, and those dems left in Congress, continue to govern against the will of the people by pushing climate change regulations on us via the EPA and by adding billions to the deficit with bogus climate change funding. Read the whole thing here: How can climate scientists spend so much money?

There is some positive news. One of the first acts of the new GOP majority House was to disband the Select Committee for Energy Independence and Global Warming. Further, on her first day in office, the newly elected GOP Governor of New Mexico, Susana Martinez, dismissed all members of the Environmental Improvement Board (known as the EIB as Rush lamented) and halted all proposed and pending regulations by that bureau.

We all need to be watching the 112th Congress closely to see that they live up to their promises to de-fund or otherwise stifle the AGW fantasy.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
