Request by Rose and Ornery Elephant from table 9:

Listen to a special tribute to the military February 19th at 2pm ET on Blog Talk Radio’s The Freedom’s Wings Show… Join Holger and other friends.

This show has a special purpose as well and that is raising funds for a Blog Talk Radio host and 18 year veteran of the U.S. Army, Robert Brandt who is known to his friends and those at BTR as “Big Sarge”. Big Sarge has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment just two months after being laid off from his private sector job of many years. We ask you to Support Big Sarge and his wife and three children through this rough time. This is your chance to reach out and thank a Army veteran in a very special way at a time when he needs your help. Big Sarge sacrificed for his country and our hope is that many of you will join us to help him in this new battle.

Check out www.supportbigsarge.com for more information and to donate to the cause. Any amount is appreciated. All donations go directly to Robert Brandt and his young family except for 5% which Robert has asked go to The Wounded Warrior Project. See you all on February the 19th at:

Comments and respectful debate are both welcome and encouraged.

Comments are the sole opinion of the comment writer, just as each thread posted is the sole opinion or post idea of the administrator that posted it or of the readers that have written guest posts for the Blogmocracy.

Obscene, abusive, or annoying remarks may be deleted or moved to spam for admin review, but the fact that particular comments remain on the site in no way constitutes an endorsement of their content by any other commenter or the admins of this Blogmocracy.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
