Americans see no clear goals in Libya

Unlike in years in thepast, Americans are not sold on the intervention in Libya. According to the Pew Research group, only 47% support the mission while therest oppose it or don’t know.  The reason is most Americans don’t see any vital interest in Libya. In fact it’s not only turning out we are not only supporting AL-Qaeda and now reports that Hizb’Allah is there as well. We are also supporting the re-election of French President Nicolas Sarkozy and French interests. Barack Hussein Obama has not gone before Congress and is conducting this war illegally. Americans don’t feel right about this war and it’s reflected in the low support for this war.

After several days of airstrikes on Libya by the United States and its allies, the public has mixed reactions to the military operation. Nearly half of Americans (47%) say the United States made the right decision in conducting air strikes in Libya while 36% say it was the wrong decision. Fully one-in-six (17%) express no opinion.

On balance, however, the public does not think that the U.S. and its allies have a clear goal in taking military action in Libya. Just 39% say the U.S. and its allies have a clear goal, while 50% say they do not.

A pointless war and a waste of our money.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
