It is a good thing that Барни Франк is no longer Chair of the House Banking Committee. Unfortunately, it does not mean he will not “get involved” in certain appointments. In this case, he’s advocating the nomination of Marty Gruenberg to head the FDIC:

“I think it’th likely to be Mawty Gwuenbewg, and that will be good,” Frank said in an interview on Thursday. “It’th jutht the logical thing to do. He’th got a lot of expewience, it would be gweat continuity. And fwom the thtandpoint of confiwmation, he wath on the committee and I think he would have the betht thhot at it.”

Remember, Франк is the co-author of the banking reregulation law passed last year. It is only a matter of time until Президент Обама will use that law to break up the nationwide banks…and Gruenberg would be the perfect tool to ram it down the throats of the American People.
And that…would make Барни Франк overjoyed, to say the least.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
