Recently, the Rev. Terry Jones burned The Unholy Koran in Florida, sparking protests on the other side of the world, specifically Pocky-STAWN. Opinions are still split as to whether Rev. Jones should have done it in the first place.
And of course, the idea has been taken up elsewhere. In this YouTube video, two men in IRAN do the same thing:
