The Muslim Brotherhood is poised to rule over Egypt. One would think that a Salfalist base Sunni movement would despise Shia Iran. However, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahamdinejad thinks otherwise.

TEHRAN – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad urged Egypt on Wednesday to rebuild diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic, saying the emergence of a new “great power” would force “Zionists” to leave the region.

At a meeting with Egyptian academics, clerics and media representatives in Tehran, Ahmadinejad pushed his plan to rebuild links with Cairo after the overthrow of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in February.

“Then all the Zionists along with other enemies of nations must leave and escape this region.”

Zionists meaning Israelis along with others, possibly referring to the native Christians, would be removed in his ideal world. If 12ther Shia Iran and a Salafalist Egypt would ally, many analysts would act shocked. However, Iran has collaborated with Hamas and AL-Qaeda. These 2 groups stem from the Muslim Brotherhood. They would ally to go after Israel and “others.”

This needs watching.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
