The Colombian Army is a brutal ruthless fighting force. In recent years they have gone after the FARC without mercy. They don’t care about human rights or International criticism.  In their latest achievement, the Colombians have killed the leader of the FARC Alfonso Cano.

Colombian army forces have killed “Alfonso Cano,” the supreme leader of the FARC, the Defense Ministry announced Friday.

According to the country’s leading newspaper El Tiempo, the guerrilla leader was killed in the southwestern Cauca department.

Before the confirmation by the Defense Ministry, El Tiempo — together with other media — said the FARC number one’s death had been confirmed by several sources within the police and army.

According to radio station Caracol, Cano, whose real name was Guillermo Leon Saenz, was killed in a bomb raid and found by ground forces in the rural area of the Suarez municipality.

The FARC which is now nothing more than a bunch of bandits have been dealt a huge blow. Cano was one of the older leaders and holding it together. It’s possible the FARC could disintegrate. This is great day for Colombia and they show the world one thing. Kill your enemies without mercy.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
