Blogmocracy in Action!

On the top we have Judge Richard Cebull, a well-respected Federal Judge appointed by President George W. Bush in 2001. This week he was found to have sent an offensive email to friends and family. The email can be read here. This email was immediately decried as being racist. I for one have heard this joke a hundred times through the years and while there is a mild racial component I find it a stretch to consider it racist. The joke is more in the fact of the person’s parent being labeled a partier. Offensive and insulting, yes, racist, I don’t really see it. Especially since the joke can be turned around to represent just about anyone with mixed parentage. The judge has been essentially crucified in the press and harassed continually since this began. His most recent attempt to defuse this “controversy” resulted in him issuing an apology to President Obama.
On the bottom we have Eran Thompson. Mr. Thompson heads up Not In Our Town Billings. This is an organization that was formed after horrible hate crimes were being committed against the Jewish community in our city. Mr. Thompson took control of the organization a few years ago and has changed its direction substantially. NIOTB is now a liberal propaganda organization that is constantly on the lookout for perceived “racism” against African-Americans and the LGBT community. Prior to this incident their most recent “action” was against the “rampant racism” in our community that was shown by the spray painted graffiti on a Medical Marijuana store. The racist slogan spray painted: Not In Our Town. Prior to this they said that it was a racist hate crime that two pot shops were firebombed and a glass pipe seller had graffiti painted all over their business. The Supremacists involved in these cases: The pot shops firebombed each other, and the glass pipe shop owner was committing insurance fraud. (By the way, all of the people involved in these cases were white. But, this did not stop Mr. Thompson from stating that they stemmed from hate of African-Americans and gays.)
We have an absurd double standard in this country. It will not end until the era of political correctness is crushed forever and left in the dustbin of history. No matter where you go, you will come across the race baiters; they are today’s true racists. Until they are marginalized like the Nazis, KKK, and others; this country will never be able to truly move forward.
