Today marks the 11 year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The terror act was carried out by Muslims mostly Saudis. Since that day starting with then President George W. Bush “Islam is Peace” comment, the US has engaged in one act of appeasement after another. Even our wars, were more nation building welfare exercises in nature. Now the ultimate act of appeasement has occurred.

Today the US embassy in Cairo, Egypt was attacked by Salafists. They were mad at a movie being made by Egyptian Christians in the US about Mohamed being a pedophile. They attacked the embassy and tore down the US flag. They replaced it with the banner of al-Qaeda. Instead of protesting this act, the US apologizes for the movie!

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others

This is pisses me off. John McCain, Ms. Lindsey, Obama and Hillary Clinton are unavailable for comment. Mitt Romney, what do you have to say about this?

Update: The US consulate in Benghazi, Libya has been set on fire.

An armed mob protesting over a film they said offended Islam, attacked the US consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi on Tuesday and set fire to the building, witnesses reported.

The attack happened on the same day as a similar group of hardliners waving black banners attacked the US embassy in Cairo and tore down the US flag, but it was not immediately clear if the two incidents were coordinated.

The protests came on the eleventh anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001, when US cities were targeted by hijacked planes.

“Demonstrators attacked the US consulate in Benghazi. They fired shots in the air before entering the building,” Libya’s deputy interior minister, Wanis al-Sharif Sharif, who is in charge of the country’s eastern region, told AFP.

These are Obama’s freedom fighters and John McCain’s heroes.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
