Here is Corpulent Guido’s take on the Supreme Court’s ruling on DOMA.

Governor Christie held fast to his personal belief that gay couples should not have the right to marry despite the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling Wednesday morning that struck down the federal Defense of Marriage Act.

Christie, who last year vetoed a bill that would have legalized same-sex marriage in New Jersey, dodged questions about the court ruling earlier Wednesday, but was asked about it again during his monthly radio show.

He said the court ruling was “wrong,” and added his opinion on the New Jersey legislation is unchanged.

“No, I’ll veto it,” Christie told NJ 101.5 FM host Eric Scott.

“I believe the institution for 2,000 years has been between a man and a woman,” Christie said. “If you put it on the ballot and the people vote for it I am sworn to uphold the laws and the constitution of the state of New Jersey.”
