Nighttime over Lido Key

I missed the sunset by about 10 minutes this week whenI flew my drone over Lido Key. At least I was able to get a great view of the beach and Sarasota. At one point, a seaplane was flying very low and I moved my drone lower and away to avoid a collision. You actually see the plane at one point in the video. This weekend I will capture a sunset on the beach and post it here when I get a chance.

On another drone related note, Parrot has announced its’s newest drone. Bebop 2 has an extended flying time of 25 minutes, double the original one and on par with DJI’s Phantom and Inspire. This is Parrot’s attempt to reach parity with DJI. The original, Bebop sucked and had battery and even flying issues, that caused it to fall from the sky.

Here is the promotional video of Parrot’s Bebop 2 which I would take with a grain of salt.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
