Update on the two Kiwi cops attacked in Massey in Auckland’s Western suburbs. One dead and one badly wounded. NOT head wounds as initially reported. The driver approached the police car with a long arm and fired an initial 3 shots hitting one Police Officer in the chest and the other in the leg opening an artery . Both murderer and the female passenger then fled. AOS raided the Gang HQ soon after but neither criminal was found. Two other gang members were also arrested and a huge armoury plus drugs and a LOT of expensive property was found. The alleged murder has been found but his female accomplice who is well known to the Police is still on the run.

Never mind that those states were not under Union control until Lee surrendered at Appomattox on April 9, 1865. On June 19, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas and announced that the slaves in the state were free by executive decree. June 19 came to be known as Juneteenth in Texas. Interestingly the proclamation didn’t free any of the slaves held in the Union states including the slave states of Delaware, Maryland, Kentucky, Missouri and West Virginia. They had to wait until the 13th Amendment was passed on December 18, 1865 for their freedom.

The problem is, they do ask. They find one or two disaffected people from those groups who wail about how such and such is insulting to their [insert aggrieved group]’s heritage. Thing is, when you look into it further, it’s just a few malcontents claiming to speak for the whole group. The majority either don’t see an issue or find it flattering that their group has been recognized in this way.

Every rally is gen’l admit, first-come, first-in. The problem was protesters, etc., NOT bogus ticket requests.
And no media outlet every checked the story w/the campaign.
