No photoshop that. The photos are of a bizarre atmospheric condition known universally as WTF Weather. Coldwarrior spotted and posted the story and linked to here.
Experts say the clouds were pristine examples of “Kelvin-Helmholtz waves.” Whether seen in the sky or in the ocean, this type of turbulence always forms when a fast-moving layer of fluid slides on top of a slower, thicker layer, dragging its surface.

I really don’t get Anime, but this is downright creepy, with tentacles and stuff. Pure evil. Just look into her eyes and you can see the thousands of entrapped helpless souls silently screaming to escape into an Overnight Open Thread.
