Any reading of the New York media and you would think the NY Jets have won AFC East every year and are multiple Superbowl champs. The truth is the NE Patriots have dominated the AFC East the last 13 years and have 3 Superbowl rings to show for it. However reality does not matter, the Jets are the awesomest team ever! Occasionally a NY sports writer speaks the truth and admits there is no NY Jets-NE Patriots rivalry.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The rivalry between the Jets and the Patriots barely has a pulse.

New England has won the past four meetings. The Jets’ last victory came in the 2010 playoffs, what feels like another life for the Jets organization. Since then the Patriots have dominated the series, including the unforgettable 49-19 Jets loss last Thanksgiving that featured bumbles, stumbles and, of course, the buttfumble.

Jets coach Rex Ryan arrived in 2009 talking about knocking Tom Brady and Bill Belichick off their perch, but their AFC East dominance has continued. The Patriots have won nine of the past 10 division titles — the only exception an 11-5 season in 2008, when Tom Brady was lost for the year on opening week.

Rex Ryan is the Chris Christie of Football, he’s a loudmouth bully. One of my fondest memories of living in the NY area was one of the old sports bars I hung out at. The owner was a Giants fan and whenever the Jets loss, he played this song to rub it in the face of Jet fans.

NY Jet fans are still stuck in 1969!

For the record I have plenty of friends who are fans of the NY Jets, as a Giant fan I love doing a little trash talk.

The game is on the NFL Network at 8:25 PM EST.

The NY Jets are the mos hyped team in the NFL. Every year the media declares them one of the favorites to win the Superbowl. Head coach Rex Ryan has one of the biggest mouths in the NFL. Last year he bragged that the Lombardi trophy was coming back to NY. Well he was right, the NY Giants won the Superbowl. This year he promised the Jets would make a Superbowl appearance, in reality the team is nowhere near the playoffs. The team is 4-7 and is a laughing stock in the NFL. There is also the Mark Sanchez-Tim Teebow quarterback drama that has turned into a circus. The Jets are such a joke that tickets to their games are now just $18!

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) Who says that it costs an arm and a leg to attend an NFL game?

Well, it usually does, but that’s not the case for this weekend’s game at MetLife Stadium.

Gang Green, coming off an embarrassing defeat to the Patriots on Thanksgiving night, is hosting the lowly Cardinals on Sunday in their second-to-last home game of the season, barring an improbable run to the playoffs.

How much will it cost you, the fan, to attend this game?

As of Wednesday morning, tickets were selling for as low as $18 on StubHub, and 7,770 tickets were still available.

Gang Green sits at 4-7, tied for last place with the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East.

[….]

After Ryan said earlier in the season that this year’s team might be his best ever, the Jets’ offense has been stagnant all season, and Mark Sanchez has regressed after leading the team to consecutive AFC title games in his first two seasons.

Rex Ryan is the Chris Christie of the NFL. Like his fellow New Jersey Corpulent loud mouth, he loves the media attention. Season after season, Ryan makes promises and never deliver. At least Jet games are now affordable!
