What happened to the film ‘Off to the Vet’?

‘Off to the Vet’ is the first 12 minute Simon’s Cat film which has been produced in full colour. The film is now complete and currently only available to our Indiegogo funders via our private production blog. We plan to release ‘Off to the Vet’ in 2016, so please look out for updates on www.simonscat.com and on our YouTube channel!

Still shaking! Thank you to the mystery lady that helped and all the people that paid attention and stopped, it was very appreciated. Kitten turned out to be a he, and is resting safely now.

Update – To answer some questions –
– Named him Skidmark.
– Keeping him for now.
– Have tried to contact person in red car, but she was unavailable. Either to find out if Skids is hers, or to make sure she knows strays are chilling in her undercarriage. She has my number, and a summary of the incident, have yet to hear from her.

The dork is home, and happy.

To add, he was taken to the vet yesterday afternoon after the incident, all is well! Just a little ringworm, but he’s a trooper!

‘A feisty cat does all he can to avoid a trip to the vet’

‘Box Clever’ is a film that Simon has wanted to make for a long time. During the development of the film’s story, the team thought the theme of a trip to the vets could be explored beyond the usual 1 to 2 minute YouTube films we make, and saw it as the perfect opportunity to tell a longer narrative – out of which the idea for our Indiegogo crowdfunded short film ‘Off to the Vet’ was born.

‘Box Clever’ features in ‘Off to the Vet’ as just a small part of the overall story. We decided to release ‘Box Clever’ in black and white as it works as a stand alone film, and a small teaser for non funders. : )
We hope you enjoy it!
