David Cameron seeks to reform National Health Service

Good morning Blogmocracy Netizens. I hope every one’s day goes well and may good things happen to all here.

Self style Progressive-Conservative British Prime Minister is doing something that is very non Progressive. Many American leftists in their push for Obamacare always pointed out the UK NHS as a great model. Many American Conservatives pointed out its faults. Well David Cameron is set to reform it by giving more control to family practitioners and even allow private companies to offer services. Clearly the system is not working and this is a warning to how inefficient government run health-care is.

Prime Minister David Cameron on Monday waded into terrain where past British governments have foundered, promising fundamental changes to the country’s expensive and over-stressed public health care system.

Cameron said the reforms would cut red tape and improve treatment, but critics claim they will cause chaos and could lead to backdoor privatization of the much-criticized but widely popular National Health Service.

The British leader, whose Conservative Party heads the country’s coalition government, said he would save money and cut red tape by giving control over management to family practitioners rather than bureaucrats, and allow private companies, charities and social enterprises to bid for contracts within the public health service.

Make no mistake about it, this is privatization occurring. PM David Cameron is admitting socialized medicine is a failure. It is ironic that that while America is moving in the direction of socialized medicine, the UK is moving towards a more private system. This should be used by the Republicans to fight for undoing Obamacare. Of course this is the GOP we’re talking about, the stupid party.

Speaking of the stupid party, it seems they are now backing off Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) road map.

But as Ryan preps for a spring budget battle, Cantor, House Speaker John Boehner, and others are not showing much eagerness to take up the roadmap’s specifics. Ryan’s project, which proposes we curb the looming debt crisis by moving toward a defined-contribution model for entitlements over the next several decades, languishes.

Nevertheless, with Ryan now holding real power, along with a burgeoning national profile, Republicans will be forced to choose how aggressively to act on his big ideas — even if it makes them uncomfortable. With a Democrat in the White House and a Democratic majority in the Senate, chances for major policy change are slim. But the public will eye how Republicans fight — to see if they’re serious about finding a solution

When will the GOP ever learn? They were voted in to fix our deficit, debt and economic uncompetitiveness. Now they are backing off that. They will probably push for school prayer or uniforms to trick Conservatives as they always do. I’m really getting tired of their charade.

Republicans plan Budget Cuts

The Republican Party is now claiming that should they get a House majority, they will implement budget cuts. I hope they carry through with this and don’t cower out. Let’s not forget the GOP had total control of the US government from 2003-2007 and they governed like fiscal Socialists. In fact the Democrats ran to their right on fiscal issues in 2006 and won Congress as result. Once in power, they governed like fiscal Marxists and drove up the deficit to 1.2 Trillion and the debt by 5 trillion. Now Chris Cristie like budget cutting is needed and this is what the GOP is promising.

U.S. House Republicans plan to try to slash $100 billion from the federal budget as early as January if they wrest power from Democrats in this year’s midterm elections, setting up possible early showdowns with President Barack Obama on taxes and spending.

A Republican House takeover would thrust new committee heads, such as Representative Dave Camp on the Ways and Means panel, into the spotlight within weeks — or days — of seizing their gavels in early January. They would confront quick political tests that could alienate independent voters and Tea Party activists alike, analysts said.

I want to believe the Republicans but with their current Progressive leadership under Boehner (R-Oh), I have my doubts. Hopefully the rumors of Eric Cantor challenging Boehnerfor House Speaker is true. Paul Ryan and Cantor are the real deal Conservatives. As shown in the health care summit, they can run circles around Obama. They also know how to explain to the American public the sacrifices that will be needed to regain economic prosperity. A Cantor-Ryan leadership duo would be able to blunt the media’s attacks on budget cuts. The GOP needs good spokesman and they fit the bill.

In an interesting note, the Democratic party in Minnesota is running out right anti-Catholic ads. Since Catholic bashing and attacks on the church is accepted in America, no one has called them on it!

A  Democrat Party supporting independent non profit group has sent out perhaps THE most anti-Catholic political advertisement I’ve ever seen. Sometimes there’s a little subtlety to anti-Catholic political rhetoric but not this time. This is in your face anti-Catholicism. A postcard was sent out to voters with a photo shopped picture of a Catholic priest wearing a campaign button saying: “Ignore the Poor.”

[…..]

One of the more worrisome things about this is that this group must believe that there’s enough of an anti-Catholic vote that this would pay dividends. Could that be true?

Yes it will pay dividends since thanks to revisionist history, the media and entertainment industry, Catholic bashing is one of this nation’s favorite past times. As Stalin once said “How many divisions the Pope has?’ Very true words because if there was a Nuclear armed Catholic super power or Catholic terrorism, there would be more respect for the Church and its members. That is the truth, see the way Islam is treated in American society compared to Catholicism.

Americans give Republicans edge over Democrats on major issues

Just 2 years ago, Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrats where swept in a landslide.  Americans at the time rejected the Bush/McCain Compassionate Conservatism, which was Progressivism with a Conservative face. The Progressive Movement was riding high and now in one of the biggest changes in American politics, it’s on the verge of collapse. On almost every major issue, the Republicans are leading Democrats for the first time in years in the  Gallup poll.

PRINCETON, NJ — A new USA Today/Gallup poll finds Americans saying the Republicans in Congress would do a better job than the Democrats in Congress of handling seven of nine key election issues. The parties are essentially tied on healthcare, with the environment being the lone Democratic strength.

Clearly the Republicans have the advantage and this finding confirms a similar one done by Rasmussen. The issue driving people towards the GOP is the Economy. This same poll shows the Economy is voters #1 concern.

The economy the issue that Americans care about. It’s about jobs, financial security and money in people’s pocket. The Republicans should hammer the Democrats on the economy from now towards election days. As James Carville said “It’s the economy stupid” and he was right. Now let’s use it as a club to clobber the Progressives. This issue in conjunction with the Progressives and their  collaboration with Islamic Imperialists over the 9/11 Ground Zero Mosque is what will lead our side the victory.

If the Republican do get power, they must never again govern as Progressives. If they go leftists and appeasing Islamic Colonialists like they did under the Bush years, then a new Conservative party will emerge. They are being given another chance, they better not blow it!

Update: What gives hope for the GOP this time around are the young guns like Eric Cantor and Paul Ryan. They are aggressive and demolished Barack Hussein Obama at the Health Care debate.

Washington’s chattering class zeroed in Tuesday on a potential but still nonexistent leadership battle between House Minority Leader John Boehner and Minority Whip Eric Cantor after members of the press received their advance copies of the latter’s new book, “Young Guns: A New Generation of Conservative Leaders.” While the book may indeed elevate Cantor, who co-authored the book with Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan and California Rep. Kevin McCarthy, its title couldn’t make its purpose any clearer – the trio sets out to prove that there’s a new Republican Party emerging that’s younger, bolder and more diverse.

Boehner has given two major policy addresses in as many weeks to go toe to toe with President Obama as he sets the stage for a possible speakership that would make him his party’s official foil to the Democratic commander in chief. On Tuesday, Boehner addressed the 92nd American Legion National Convention in Milwaukee about the end of combat operations in Iraqas a precursor to Obama’s speech later in the evening. At the same time, about a dozen reporters in the Beltway had just finished combing through Young Guns and found only limited references to Boehner and took that to mean the Ohioan is on the outs.

But the book is less a preview of a leadership battle as it is a forced rebirth.

Personally I hope Eric Cantor challenges John Boehner for the Speaker position, should Republicans win the House. Boehner is an elitis Progressive Republican who needs to get out the way. Imagine House Speaker Eric Cantor and Majority leaders Paul Ryan! Barack Hussein Obama would have nightmares over that one!

Update III:Political analyst Larry Sabato has the The Republicans winning the house, winning 8-9 in the Senate and 8 governorships.

Let’s keep up the pressure!

Paul Ryan offers solutions while Republican elites stay silent

The Republican Party has rightfully earned its name as the stupid party. They repeat the same stale 30 year old talking points and don’t react to today’s problems. The GOP thinks pushing just social issues will trick Conservatives into voting for their elites, who are really Progressives. There is an exception to all this, it’s Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI.) who has offered his Roadmap for America’s Future.  His plan is a serious blueprint for eliminating the deficit and restoring American competitiveness in the global economy. The GOP elites are ignoring his plan as they are cowards who in reality are Progressives and actually agree with the goals of the Democrats.

Viewing him as a rising star in the party, Republicans in Congress often talk up Rep. Paul Ryan as a potential governor, senator or House leader. The lanky, youthful-looking congressman from Wisconsin has begged off, citing his young children and limited desire to spend all his time raising campaign money.

Instead, Ryan is running a campaign of a different sort, one his party has so far refused to adopt: He is determined to persuade colleagues to get serious about eliminating the national debt, even if it means openly broaching overhauls of Medicare and Social Security.

He speaks in apocalyptic terms, saying the debt is “completely unsustainable” and warning that “it will crash our economy.” He urges fellow politicians, and voters, to stop pretending that this problem will go away on its own.

The Republican Party is not only the stupid party, it’s a party of cowards. Rather than tell the American people the truth about our dire economic situation, they hide and just throw out social issues thinking it will please their base. Those days are over, the Conservative base wants people like Chris Cristie and Paul Ryan who will challenge the Progressive establishment and fight for reform. It is time to purge the Progressive elites form the GOP.
