Progressive Republican David Frum is threatening to bolt. He has issued an ultimatum all Conservatives and Republicans must heed. We must nominate Mitt Romney or Jon Huntsman. If they do not win, David Frum will leave the GOP. That’s right, the Right will lose its greatest mind since Charles Johnson!

The Washington, D.C., primary is set for April 3. I’ll probably cast a vote that day for Huntsman, if only to show support for a brave and independent-minded candidate — and in hope that a strong Huntsman showing will be interpreted as a call for a more modern and inclusive Republican party.

If Mitt Romney emerges as the ultimate nominee, I’ll place my hope that the Romney who enters the Oval Office will be the innovative, solutions-oriented Romney 1.0 — and not the placate-every-GOP-interest-group Romney 3.0 we’ve seen on the 2011 campaign trail.

Any other nominee would gravely test my commitment to the political party I’ve supported since I entered the United States as a college student in the fall of 1978.

Let’s all do David Frum a favor. Let’s make sure neither Romney nor Huntsman get the nomination. That way David Frum can go formally join the Progressives. He’s a Trojan horse who uses the label Conservative so he can bash the Right. He admires the so called Progressive-Conservative David Cameron, who is the most Leftwing British PM since Clement Attlee. David Frum wants the Republican Party to be even more Progressive than it already is!

David Frum is a Transnational Progressive  masquerading as a Conservative. Let’s defeat Romney and send David Frum packing!
