The first game of the season is rematch of the Denver Broncos vs. Baltimore Ravens . The Ravens won that game and it help propel them to their Superbowl Run. Ray Lewis is no longer around and this is not the same teams as the one that won the Superbowl. The Denver Broncos are out for revenge and Payton knows time is running out on his career.

Ray Lewis has been described as a great orator. In a speech Saturday night, Ray Lewis gave a powerful speech that had Raven players crying.

What was the subject of Lewis’ stirring pep talk? Love.
“Love put us over the top,” Ayanbadejo explained. “You wouldn’t think it, because football is a game known for machismo and violence and toughness, but love is what drove our success. Just like the most epic action movies end up being love stories — The Matrix, Star Wars, Gladiator. This Ravens team is a love story.”
Lewis told teammates who nearly revolted in October that he’s never loved a team like this year’s Ravens team.
“And he included the 2000 team (which won the Ravens‘ only other Super Bowl),” Ayanbadejo said. “People were crying. He was crying. It was the last time he was ever gonna stand up in front of us. So it was an intimate, special moment that we had together.”

Love him or hate him, Ray Lewis knows how to get attention. After the Baltimore Ravens won the AFC Championship over the New England Patriots, Lewis got emotional and praised God for his victory.

When Jim and John Harbaugh coached against each other last season, it was the first time in NFL history that two brothers faced off as head coaches. And a lot of media attention was given to that storyline.
Jim and John Harbaugh will coach against each other once again, this time in the Super Bowl, after San Francisco beat Atlanta and Baltimore defeated New England in the NFL’s conference championship games. And if you thought the Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh story was given a lot of ink for a regular-season game last season, just wait for this two-week lead up to the Super Bowl.
Baltimore, led by John Harbaugh, beat New England 28-13 in the AFC championship game. Jim Harbaugh led the 49ers to a 28-24 win over Atlanta for the NFC title earlier in the day.
