Well 2010 is finally over. This was the anno horribalis for many people including yours truly. Hopefully 2011 will be better for everyone and the country.

Here’s a song from Pittsburgh rapper, Wiz Kalifa, properly called black and yellow which shows parts of the town and at the end of the video, they wave the terrible towel.  This song is for the Yinzers.

On a seriosu note, thanks to everyone for supporting the blog in 2010. We have evolved beyond LGF2 and have our own identity. I also would like to thanks everyone for dealing with some of my emotional outburst. I am 35 years and part of the first generation of Americans who’s living standards will be lower than their parents. Since the Tech bubble burst in 2000, my generation has had to live through 11 years of stagnant wages, increased cost of living, useless wars, a financial crisis and increasing debt. I get frustrated that I will not be able to accumulate the wealth my parents did. I get angry that the party I vote for is lead by useless cowards like Boehner and McConnell, instead of fighters like Cantor, Ryan or Rubio. Since 1989 when Reagan left office I have had to live through 4 weak Presidents (Bush I, Clinton, Bush II and Obama) all of whom I despise and have no respect for. I would love to actually like my President and government again, something I haven’t since Reagan. I feel like someone who is witnessing the death of a nation. I am frustrated and I thank all of you for helping me deal with this frustration.

Hopefully we can organize a get together next year.

When you get a chance stop by Table9 Chat and say hi to Rose and her friends. They have been great allies of this blog and have recreated the spirit of the old lizard lounge.

Have a happy New Years all!
