Alas no Apple tree at the bottom of my guarder, so I have to either buy a tin of apple pulp or slice up bought Granny Smith apples to add to my home grown Rhubarb. The stuff grows like a weed here and it is so very good to eat in rhubarb and apple pis with some ice-cream and or whipped cream on top.

We are also loaded down with so many peaches from a massively prolific peach tree that I’m almost getting sick of eating peaches.

      Almost!

The best thing that could possibly happen would be for Brexit to proceed carrying Scotland with it. Then allow Scotland her referendum and by some fluke of nature have the Scots vote to leave the UK. Scotland would carry off the bulk of the socialist Labour party seats with them leaving the Conservatives with 65% of the popular vote in England and Wales forever. It’d be nice to watch the Scots then attempt to convince Brussels to allow them to rejoin the EU given the current state of the Scot’s economy.

Scotland has been living on ‘other peoples’ money forever. Typical socialists!

I am unaware that Scotland is even capable of having a viable economy if it were on its own. Hence Nicola Sturgeon’s delusional idea that they could stay in the EU. I’ve always suspected that the EU would almost consider it just to diss England but they’d have to take that odious woman in the bargain and NOTHING is worth that.

Got a surprise when I woke up today. Judge Napolitano was saying that the Obama admin could have used the Brits to spy on Trump. I threw that idea out there the other day and Idapig rightly pointed out that the Brits have no reason to do anything for Obama. I thought it was highly unlikely. But Napolitano heard something somewhere.

Perkins has a free slice with coupon today.

Noticed around several websites today that the meme is “the new cold war” and that it’s Trumps fault.

So, totally ignoring what the dems did during and after the election, they are now switching from “Trump’s a Russian agent” to “Trump put us in a new cold war.”

Amazing what kind of contortions you can get away with when you control the media.

Judge Nap: Obama ‘Went Outside Chain of Command,’ Used British Spy Agency to Surveil Trump

On “Fox & Friends” this morning, Judge Andrew Napolitano said that even if the Obama administration did spy on Trump, there may never be a way to prove it.

He explained that the statutes allow the president to order the surveillance of any person in the U.S., without suspicion, probable cause or a warrant, but that would leave “fingerprints.”

In this case, the alleged surveillance was reportedly ordered in a way that left no record, he said.

“Three intelligence sources have informed Fox News that President Obama went outside the chain of command,” Napolitano said. “He didn’t use the NSA, he didn’t use the CIA, he didn’t use the FBI, and he didn’t use the Department of Justice.”

Instead, Napolitano said, Obama used GCHQ, a British intelligence and security organization that has 24-7 access to the NSA database.

“There’s no American fingerprints on this,” Napolitano said. “What happened to the guy who ordered this? Resigned three days after Donald Trump was inaugurated.”

so is this guy? and why do the Brits have access to NSA stuff?

Yes, but then Dorian pointed out that the Brit spying was probably at the behest of Jeb Bush and at the time the Brits would have every reason to believe yet another Bush would end up in the WH and would therefore comply.

I can’t tell the impact of what it is. I do know that dentists are gouging everyone I know with dental care not covered by insurance. I think it just has to have 3 tiers. Preventative, Normal care, Catastrophic care. If the only drug that is going to save a person costs $500,000 a dose, then a person has to accept they can’t get that drug unless Bill Gates buys it for them.

I did see a Maryland plan on the news with a connection to an insurer out of Kansas where every adult paid $50 a month and every child $25 a month into the insurance plan. And all treatments were covered with no co pays. Catastrophic illness did require some additional insurance. That would give me more care and cut my bills by 75 percent.

I don’t know how old you were so I’m not sure people who have only read about it can actually understand the utter shock.

Nixon had bugged his own office and everybody in it – including himself.

The shock of the revelation was volcanic.

At the time, nobody was sure if Nixon ordered the break in (IMHO it was John Dean) but he did everything he could to cover it up – including fighting with a judge, John Sirica who, unlike John Roberts, wasn’t taking any shit from the Executive.

It wasn’t until years later that people found out the CIA had already bugged the Oval so Nixon needn’t have bothered.

      Yup

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the first American president to make secret sound recordings in the White House (as far as anyone knows, that is). Roosevelt held off-the-record press conferences twice a week in his office, and was frustrated about being misquoted in those and other meetings. So a stenographer suggested making audio recordings. After all, phonograph recordings had been around for 60 years and talking pictures were more than a decade old.

Democrats Threaten Government Shutdown Over Border Wall And Defunding Planned Parenthood…

Senate Democrats cautioned Monday that any attempt to not fund Planned Parenthood or fund a border wall would result in a shutdown of the government.

The move by Democrats sets up a potential battle between the White House and members in Congress who oppose President Trump’s border security plan and hope to torpedo it.

“If Republicans insist on inserting poison pill riders such as defunding Planned Parenthood, building a border wall, or starting a deportation force, they will be shutting down the government and delivering a severe blow to our economy,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said in a statement.

While Trump used the power of the pen to roll back Executive Orders signed by President Barack Obama and only needed a simple majority to approve his cabinet nominations, bills coming down the pipeline are another story.

      Yes, Chuckie, please do that.

Women’s Day Protestors Perform ‘Abortion’ on ‘Virgin Mary,’ Try To ‘Kill’ Jesus…

As part of International Women’s Day (March 8), feminist protestors simulated a bloody abortion on a woman dressed as the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, outside the cathedral in Tucuman, Argentina.

The protestors, according to Life Site News, which reported the incident in the English language press, cheered the fake abortion as symbolically killing “patriarchy” and “forced heterosexuality.”

Rev. Frank Pavone, who heads Priests for Life, told Life Site News, “This act also shows what is at the foundation of the hard-core pro-abortion people: They hate the church, and they literally want to abort Jesus off the face of the earth in every manifestation of his presence today.”

Good news on the results of my blood work last week. The only number I need to change is my ‘good ‘ cholesterol. That needs to go up by about 25 points. Everything else is ridiculously low for someone who’s in the kind of shape I am. Dropping a few dozen pounds and getting out and moving would help those.

I do believe that it is a felony. These are tax returns from 2005 of a real estate mogul. Madoow is going through
the return? This is not a 1040 EZ. I don’t care if Trump made a generous contribution to the Lucifer B Satan Church

You’re almost there. She got 2 pages from an 11 yr old tax return that was probably a lot more than 2 pages.

      What do those pages show?

      1. Trump DID pay taxes

      2. I don’t know what the tax rates/brackets were back then, but I think it’s clear that Trump paid ALL the necessary taxes IF NOT MORE.

Both items directly contradict THE NARRATIVE and the possession of those pages indicate somebody broke the law.

Conclusion: NBC/MSNBC has just been played

We didn’t get much snow – 2 inches maybe – but it’s sleeting and the wind is up. The heathen asked to go out on the deck, stood at the door for 2 secs and decided Nah, sofa looks good.

Of course they did. The Five yes get around the prohibitions on spying on one’s own people by subcontracting it to the other members of 5 eyes. Hence Canada spies on Australia, UK spies on the US, NZ spies on Australia, and Australia spies on the UK. And all of the 5 Eyes jointly spy on the rest of the world. Seriously folks. Then the 5 Eyes members share all of the information and all of the 5 Eyes know everything, with deniability of ever having spied on the people of their own nations.

This has been going on since the days of Echelon.

More hilarity overnite. The tax docs Rachael Maddow used are stamped ‘CLIENT COPY’ (pic at the link). Didn’t come from the IRS, came from the Trump side

      And the DNC response:

‘If they can release some of the information, they can release all of the information.

‘The only reason not to release his returns is to hide what’s in them such as financial connections with Russian oligarchs and the Kremlin.’
