This is a guest post from our very own Blogmocracy mascot, Leia:

Hi friendly people!

After the details of the bin Laden raid came out and people learned that one of the participants was a canine warrior named Cairo, many people have wanted to meet him. Due to OPSEC rules, Cairo has not granted any media interviews, but President Obama was allowed to meet him on the day he awarded SEAL Team 6 the Presidential Unit Citation.

Since Cairo’s identity is classified, I thought I’d do the next best thing and show you what a Belgian Malnois looks like in action.

The video below is of dogs trained in Israel:

The picture below shows what the well-dressed SpecOps canine warrior wears into combat today (click to enlarge):

Well, that’s all for today! Bye!

Comments and respectful debate are both welcome and encouraged.

Comments are the sole opinion of the comment writer, just as each thread posted is the sole opinion or post idea of the administrator that posted it or of the readers that have written guest posts for the Blogmocracy.

Obscene, abusive, or annoying remarks may be deleted or moved to spam for admin review, but the fact that particular comments remain on the site in no way constitutes an endorsement of their content by any other commenter or the admins of this Blogmocracy.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
