National Guard Troops on the streets of Chicago in 1966. This deployment was in response to a series of riots that broke out after a man was arrested on July 12th, 1966 for re-opening a fire hydrant that police had closed after residents opened it during a heat wave. There was sporadic violence and looting until the National Guard was called in on the 15th. They stayed on patrol until the 20th.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
Play nice!

So I’m supposed to talk to my nurse provider today as a follow up. I got this notice to set up a teleconference thru something called Breeze. Set up new account blah blah blah.
I ignited.I called her office an said I’m not doing that. ANOTHER pswd, 2-level authent bullshit. Why can’t we just talk on the phone. I am sick and tired of jumping thru software hoops ‘for my own good’. And oddly enough quite a few want the last 5 digits of my SSN. I’m done.
So she’ll call me on the phone.

I have seen many reports of how many undocumented illegal aliens that have been arrested, and a surprising number had documented criminal histories.
A Green Card holder ( aka legal permanent resident ) can be deported for a felony or even a misdemeanor that involves ” moral turpitude” So there is a legal mechanism for deporting us.
What I have not seen is ONE report of an employer who hires/hired illegals being arrested, tried, fined or even tear gassed.
That is the root of the problem.

LOL I need an account on an app to operate the washer and dryer in the apartment complex.

Why do you say that?
If Israel attacks Iran then Israel is not doing it without intelligence information from the USA.
So, in retaliation then Iran as I see it is justified in taking out USA assets in the region which aided the attack.
If the USA was not backing Israel then everyone in the middle east would shut the fuck up and sit the fuck down.
Hey, two weeks ago India and Pakistan were going at it. Two nuclear armed nations. No USA involvement.

Greenland did not want to be the 51st state and they signed a mineral extraction deal with a Danish/French company. Greenland kind of is not news any more.
Canada, as in Trump wants it to be 51st state, I think that died a death.
If a 51st state was needed then Puerto Rico would be the best bet!
Alas, Puerto Rico has rejected that for years and now they want to be part of Spain again.
Good news for Chinese manufacturers of American flags.
What would a 51 star flag look like?
@ Possum:
Puerto Rico will never be a state. Neither will DC.
If Puerto Rico wants to join Spain, let them. But they’ll have to give up their US citizenship.

I’m amazed that nobody is trying to blame Trump yet for that Air India crash. Of course, they ARE trying to blame Boeing, even though it’s the first 787 to ever crash since they were introduced. It was almost certainly human error. It was 110 degrees, with a plane near its max takeoff weight, trying to take off using 6500 feet of an 11000 foot runway, and appears to have not had flaps deployed. You can see all the dirt that was kicked up from the overrun at the end of the runway.

Just depends which way they go. Direct is over Jordan, then Iraq which is just over 1000 miles to Tehran.
Other options are the South route via Saudi Arabia or North via Turkey.
As the Israelis are being supported by the USA and the UK by air-air refueling then the options are endless.
The Israeli air force could even go the long way to Iran, doing a low fly by of Barnsley, pop the white and blue smoke and still make it back tpo bomb Iran.
However that would be about a 19 hour flight and I am sure the Israeli pilots would need to stop and have a bacon and egg and mushroom sandwich somewhere in Yorkshire.
I could recommend a place…

@ Possum:
Well Jordan has closed its airspace. I’m guessing the Saudi route is being used. That’s still a helluva round trip and Israeli pilots must be exhausted. Also, refueling? How is that happening?
Israel lured the entire Iranian Air Force command to a meeting, ensured they stayed there, and eliminated them all simultaneously in one strike.

If anyone’s looking for a couple of hours to kill, the recent documentary Becoming Led Zeppelin is really good. It’s on Netflix now.
It covers the early careers of each of them, how they got together, and the early days of the band. It ends with their Royal Albert Hall concert in January 1970, shortly after the release of Led Zeppelin II. New interviews with Plant, Page and Jones, along with some archival recordings of Bonham.
71st Bildeberg meeting
Gee, is it that time again already? 🙂
Yep….it’s time for the yearly Globalist/Ellites get together again and decide how you are going to live….regardless of your nation/democracy/voting/politics.
Gee, I wonder what’s on the agenda this year?
Could it be more untethered migration into western nations to change cultures and cause disunity?….more world anti-semitism?….more ‘man made climate change’ myths and their associated taxes?…another worldwide pandemic with mandatory MRNA injections and their cardio/cancer causing spike proteins?
Who knows?….I guess we’ll eventually find out through THEIR secretly disseminated policies that go through to OUR governments to follow….sooner or later.
But of course….that’s just a ‘conspiracy theory’…isn’t it?
Anyway, here’s what we know about this years elitist confab, that has started in Sweden…
71st Bilderberg Meeting Agenda and Attendees
The clandestine Bilderberg Group’s 71st annual meeting kicks off on Thursday, where 120-140 heads of state, industry, media, finance and technology will convene to plot global policy behind closed doors.
Bilderberg’s 2025 confab will be held June 12-15 in Stockholm, Sweden, at the Grand Hotel.
While the organization on its face appears powerless, the secretive group – whose discussions are held under Chatham House rules – has been accused of steering world events, including the creation of the European Union and its euro single currency. It’s even rumored to have helped install heads of state like former US Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama and UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, all of whom reportedly attended Bilderberg prior to their rise.
Other attendees have included top media figures from outlets like The New York Times, Politico, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The Economist, The Guardian and more, making it all the more bizarre that the convention receives little to no press coverage each year.
Via The Nordic Times:
The public denied for a long time that the meeting was organized, or even existed, and was dismissed in the mainstream media for many years as a “conspiracy theory”. In the 21st century, as a result of independent media coverage, it has since been recognized that the meeting has actually been taking place since 1954, with high-profile lists of participants typically ranging from 120-150 specially invited participants.
Check out the full list of attendees and key discussion topics below, via BilderbergMeetings.org. This year’s conference includes such key figures as Palantir’s Alex Karp, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, CNN’s Fareked Zakaria, and Economist editor-in-chief Zanny Minton Beddoes, to name a few.
71st Bilderberg Meeting to take place 12 – 15 June in Stockholm, Sweden
The topics for discussion this year are:
Transatlantic Relationship
Ukraine
US Economy
Europe
Middle East
Authoritarian Axis
Defence Innovation and Resilience
AI, Deterrence and National Security
Proliferation
Geopolitics of Energy and Critical Minerals
Depopulation and Migration

I wish the UK would stop any involvement in regional conflicts that really are no longer any business of the UK.
ZZ343 is currently on its daily trip from Cyprus to West Iraq where it then flies around in circles for a while and then goes back to Cyprus. It does it for 6-8 hours.
Currently over Jordan, it is easy to spot on Flightradar24 as there are only 2 aircraft in Jordanian airspace.
ZZ343 is a Royal Air Force Airbus KC2 Voyager which is a buddy of the one I posted about yesterday. A tanker/VIP transport/Hospital aircraft but not painted in nice colours.
So, what the fuck is an RAF tanker doing flying around in West Iraq every day?
Maybe there on the off chance they can sell some gas to Israeli pilots who are on the way to, or from, Iran?

@ Possum:
It just changed its callsign from RRR9961 ( RRRxxxx usually means RAF unless they are fucking around over the North sea playing tag. Saw APOLLO41 in a dog fight there yesterday! )
Anyway it is now VR49. It can run, but it cannot hide!
Dr. Vance Boelter, the Tim Walz appointee who ALLEGEDLY kiIIed Rep. Melissa Hortman, is the Director of Security Patrols at a security firm in MN
This explains how he would have access to a “law enforcement-like” vehicle and uniform, as police have reported.

A shame for Britain.
The UK has been excluded from Military Intelligence by the US and Israel.
Israel contacted the United States, Jordan and even Saudi and Qatar!
Says a lot that the UK is now so badly not trusted by Israel and the United States but they will put more faith in Qatar over Britain.
This, in my opinion, is probably due to the hostility David Lammy and Keir Starmer has shown, following the sanctioning of Israeli ministers over their Speech.
According to officials, this was intentional:
“We didn’t tell the British because we don’t trust them.”
They cited concerns over the UK being too quick to leak sensitive information and acting “against Israel’s interests.”
Israel views the UK as unreliable:
Senior Israeli sources described the UK as an *“unreliable partner”and claimed that recent UK actions—particularly sanctions against Israeli ministers—have strained ties.
One official said: “The British are behaving like the Europeans. We don’t share sensitive stuff with them anymore.”
UK government caught off guard and alarmed:
The British government only learned of the attack after it began, prompting a Cobra emergency meeting
Diplomats were reportedly “blindsided,” and the UK had to scramble to assess risks to nationals and diplomats in the region.

GAZA: A cabal of pro-Palestinian NGOs, bankrolled by a network of radical far-left NGOs, all ultimately tracing their funding to George Soros’s Open Society Foundations, orchestrated a reckless stunt, sending 100 helpless activists from the US, Canada, and Europe to Egypt to stage a provocative march on Gaza. Spearheaded by the extremist groups Codepink and the Palestinian Youth Movement, these agitators naively believed they could waltz into a volatile region with their performative activism. Instead, they were met with the harsh reality they refused to anticipate: Egyptian authorities and local Islamists, who view their Palestinian cause as synonymous with terrorism, didn’t roll out the welcome mat. The activists were brutally attacked, beaten, whipped, stripped of their passports, and forcibly deported in a humiliating rout. This fiasco exposes the delusional arrogance of Democrats and the Western left, who cling to their fantasy of solidarity while willfully ignoring the stark truth: Islamic values are fundamentally at odds with Western principles, and no amount of Soros-funded grandstanding will bridge that chasm. h/t

JENNY BOELTER DETAINED WITH WEAPONS & PASSPORTS. What’s really going on? The wife of suspected political assassin Vance Boetler is being detained and questioned after cops found a weapon, ammunition, cash, and passports in her car during a traffic stop on Saturday morning, a report said.
Jenny Boetler was stopped by police while driving in a car with several relatives near Onamia, Minnesota, late Saturday morning around 10 a.m., local KTSP reported. Boelbert is sought in connection with the Saturday morning assassination of a Minnesota state lawmaker and the shooting of another.
Two cop cruisers were at the scene for two to three hours, according to that report. Boetler was held for questioning but was not arrested. It is not clear whether the Boetlers lived with each other, as Vance Boetler was known to live at a residence in Camden, Minnesota, which was raided by SWAT teams on Saturday afternoon.
The couple previously ran the company Praetorian Guard Security. Jenny was the president of the company and was billed as bringing “years of organizational operations and logistical oversight,” according to the company’s website.
Vance Boetler boasted security experience in Eastern Europe, Africa, North America, and the Middle East, including in the West Bank, Southern Lebanon, and the Gaza Strip.
The two Democratic official victims are alleged to have voted against their own party and were working with Republicans to solve issues. One thing is for sure. A message was being sent.

Difficult decision to be made.
American children are fed Mac and Cheese from the first day they are able to eat solid food right up to adulthood and beyond.
I like Mac and Cheese too, but it is high calorie. I make it by cooking the twirly pasta in water, draining it, sprinkling with 1/2oz powdered Parmesan and an ounce of grated sharp cheddar ( fake cheddar ) and 3oz of Walmart alfredo. Then placed in a silicon insert for air fryer and cooked 20mins at 250F to blend the flavours.
Much lower calorie version is using steamed cauliflower or broccoli or latest passion a can of carrots or peas.
The pea version is actually quite high in calories!
Anyway, dilemma is which version to serve for lunch to accompany either liver and onions or a chunk of roast pork. ( chili is also available but seems wrong combination from a textures point of view. I is a gourmet chef)
LOL, really craving the Mac version but no twisty spirals of pasta in stock, and NO! I am not putting in a Walmart delivery order, minimum order is $35 and I am trying to eat the fridge and freezer.
Wondering what ramen noodles and cheese would be like, with added peas for some colour…..

Fried in lard or butter or coconut oil, boiled or my favorite ( it is fast but messy) Lusy has a picture of four poached eggs on 12oz cooked spinach.
Only naughty thing I do is place eggs used for sunny side up in a bowl of hot tap water for a few hours before frying them, replenishing hot water several times.
I find it difficult to cook sunny side up using eggs straight out of the fridge. White done but yolk still cold. English eggs stored at room temp as they are unwashed.
I am going to try to get more variety in the things I eat, but it is difficult.
I do get variety but most things I cook last for days. Example, liver and onions. A pound of liver and two medium yellow onions made four portions, still one portion left in slow cooker that either gets eaten today or tagged and bagged and put in the freezer along with all the other meals I did not end up doing the distance with.
Oh yesterday main meal was a small can of whole baby clams, not an intact clam in sight it was a can of mush. Stir fried with my home grown then frozen bean sprouts that I must have let grow too big as it was like eating dental floss.
Walmart just delivered 18 eggs, sour cream, 4 avocados, 4 pouches of tuna ( $0.98 they are good value, just enough for a snack at 80 calories ) More mayo and canned carrots ( don’t ask…. Canned carrots and mayo, YUM! )
Oh and a 5 liter box of Cabernet Sauvignon and a 30 pack of Busch light so there maybe some typos for the next few days. And some whimsy but Grok likes whimsical things.

And what connection does the Comptroller of NYC have to a random immigration case? Is he a family member? The guy’s attorney?

From VP Vance
Look, I’m seeing this from the inside, and am admittedly biased towards our president (and my friend), but there’s a lot of crazy stuff on social media, so I wanted to address some things directly on the Iran issue:
First, POTUS has been amazingly consistent, over 10 years, that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Over the last few months, he encouraged his foreign policy team to reach a deal with the Iranians to accomplish this goal. The president has made clear that Iran cannot have uranium enrichment. And he said repeatedly that this would happen one of two ways–the easy way or the “other” way.
Second, I’ve seen a lot of confusion over the issue of “civilian nuclear power” and “uranium enrichment.” These are distinct issues. Iran could have civilian nuclear power without enrichment, but Iran rejected that. Meanwhile, they’ve enriched uranium far above the level necessary for any civilian purpose. They’ve been found in violation of their non-proliferation obligations by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which is hardly a rightwing organization.
It’s one thing to want civilian nuclear energy. It’s another thing to demand sophisticated enrichment capacity. And it’s still another to cling to enrichment while simultaneously violating basic non-proliferation obligations and enriching right to the point of weapons-grade uranium.
I have yet to see a single good argument for why Iran needed to enrich uranium well above the threshold for civilian use. I’ve yet to see a single good argument for why Iran was justified in violating its non-proliferation obligations. I’ve yet to see a single good pushback against the IAEA’s findings.
Meanwhile, the president has shown remarkable restraint in keeping our military’s focus on protecting our troops and protecting our citizens.
He may decide he needs to take further action to end Iranian enrichment. That decision ultimately belongs to the president. And of course, people are right to be worried about foreign entanglement after the last 25 years of idiotic foreign policy.
But I believe the president has earned some trust on this issue. And having seen this up close and personal, I can assure you that he is only interested in using the American military to accomplish the American people’s goals. Whatever he does, that is his focus.

I am probably wrong.
Yep Israel took out the Osirak reactor on on 7 June 1981 but it was still under construction with no nuclear fuel on site.
Interestingly the Iranians tried to destroy the Iraqi Osirak reactor In an air attack codenamed Operation Scorch Sword, Iran attacked and damaged the site on 30 September 1980
Hence my previous post about Arabs and Persians hating each other.
@ Possum:
The main facility everyone is concerned with is at Fordow, which is their uranium enrichment plant. It’s not a nuclear reactor. It’s thousands of centrifuges.

I am actually surprised they are so busy enriching Uranium to extract U235.
The rest of the nuclear armed nations now use Plutonium 239 which is created in reactors using much lower enriched Uranium.

That is why the bomb on Hiroshima was never tested. Did not need to be.
All that Los Alamos and Trinity and Fat Man bollocks was because a Plutonium bomb was so dramatic. It was an unknown.

Should we send a bunch of troops to Iran? Of course not. Neither should Israel.
But the Fordow facility has to be taken off the table, one way or another. Israel can’t do it. We can, but don’t really want to. The best outcome would be for Iran to voluntarily surrender the facility and let some third party oversee it being dismantled.
Neither option requires sending troops, though.

RED ALERT: WE ARE GOING INTO A MAJOR WAR AND THERE WILL BE EXTREME CENSORSHIP under a new Office of War Information (OWI for 2025) org! (But not named OWI.) Following my previous post on this subject, I received confirmation that the White House is indeed working up a social media BAN LIST, and they will be rolling it out within days after the bunker buster bombs fall on Iran. The goal of course is to silence all dissent and control the narrative to be 100% pro Israel. But unlike the way the Democrats achieved this by routing ban lists through the DoD and offshore NGOs then back to Big Tech, in this case the bans will be handled domestically under the US Department of State, citing “national security” as the reason. I’m told there will be many THOUSANDS of accounts banned across all major social media, and lists have already been largely compiled. Rubio will have the list, and it’s not a coincidence that Rubio is also currently serving as the National Security Advisor, meaning he has the access channels to push a censorship list through. No word yet on whether web domains will be seized by State, but it seems possible.
SHARE THIS widely, and push back against right-wing censorship in the name of protecting Israel’s narrative. Every indy media journalist should loudly protest this, and we should demand that Trump denounce censorship and back away from this plan! Benz should soon be aware of this, and Jones, Carlson and others, if they aren’t already. Owen Shroyer, Harrison Smith, Scott Ritter, Judge Napolitano, Glenn Greenwald, etc., will of course all be on the list, as will anyone with any significant reach who questions the pro-war narrative. YouTube will also be heavily pressured.

MUST READ: Israeli secret services used a fake phone call to trick the top commanders of Iran’s air force into gathering at a single location before taking them out in a targeted strike. Using falsified communications through Iranian channels, they triggered what appeared to be an emergency meeting. The ruse successfully drew the entire senior leadership of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, including Commander General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, his deputies, and key technical personnel, into a fortified bunker outside Tehran. Moments before the strike began, that bunker was hit in a precision airstrike, eliminating Iran’s top missile command.

Here are some interesting points to think about prior to 2020, especially to my friends on the fence, like moderate Democrats, Libertarians and Independents and the never Trump Republicans and those thinking of “walking away” from the Democratic party:
– Women are upset at Trump’s naughty words — they also bought 80 million copies of 50 Shades of Gray.
– Not one feminist has defended Sarah Sanders. It seems women’s rights only matter if those women are liberal.
– No Border Walls. No voter ID laws. Did you figure it out yet? But wait… there’s more…
– Chelsea Clinton got out of college and got a job at NBC that paid $900,000 per year. Her mom flies around the country speaking out about white privilege. And just like that, they went from being against foreign interference in our elections to allowing non-citizens to vote in our elections.
– President Trump’s wall costs less than the Obamacare website. Let that sink in, America!
– We are one election away from open borders, socialism, gun confiscation, and full-term abortion nationally. We are fighting evil.
– They sent more troops and armament to arrest Roger Stone than they sent to defend Benghazi.

This is bullshit. Backdoor vax mandate
California Democrats passed Senate Bill 276 and SB 714
This means any doctor who writes 5 or more medical exemptions for vaccine mandates in a single year will be AUTOMATICALLY INVESTIGATED
If they do issue more exemptions they can have their medical licenses REVOKED
“inconsistently with these standards may face suspension of their ability to grant further exemptions and potential reporting to the Medical Board of California for disciplinary action, which could include license suspension or revocation.”

Prominent businesses threaten to leave NYC if socialist Zohran Mamdani is elected mayor
“If Mamdani becomes the mayor of New York, you’re going to see the flight of businesses from New York. Most of the businesses that operate in New York City in the financial sector are incredibly portable,” said Bill Ackman.

U.S. officials have confirmed to CNN that non-sheltered USAF aircraft have been evacuated from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, and U.S. Navy vessels previously forward-deployed at Naval Support Activity Bahrain have also repositioned.
Additionally, medical logistics have been reinforced, with pre-positioned blood supplies deployed across the region incase U.S. forces are attacked.

‘Hard to fathom’: Sewage crisis at Calif. coastline can be seen from space
“It boils down to the fact that it’s what feels like an unstoppable stench and an unstoppable flow of crap running through our communities …it’s just it’s hard to fathom how big the issue is,” Granados said. “People legit are sick, like physically ill, headaches, nausea, missing work, missing school, feeling bad, not going outside to, you know, exercise and do things outdoors. It’s like you can’t get away from it. It just smells so bad.”

That’s sewage coming from Tijuana. Stopping that is going to require action from Mexico.

MASSIVE U.S. MILITARY CARGO JET JUST TOOK OFF – AND IT’S HEADING STRAIGHT FOR THE MIDDLE EAST
The C-5M Super Galaxy, one of the biggest military transport beasts on Earth, just lifted off under callsign RCH2097 and is hauling ass toward the Middle East.
This thing doesn’t fly for fun. It moves tanks, weapons, and war logistics when sh*t’s about to go down.
If this bird’s in the sky, something’s being staged.
No press. No explanation.

@ eaglesoars:
There’s nothing unusual about a C-5 flying somewhere. They fly all the time. I’ve caught rides on them several times.
And they can operate out of any airport that has a decent-size runway. They need about 9000 feet to take off at max weight and about 5000 feet to land. And if there’s a tanker nearby, they can take off from a shorter runway by not having a full fuel load.
@ lobo91:
thank you. Did you have to sit in the cargo bay?
This woman belongs in jail. Look at the pic

Nope. C-5s have two levels, sort of like a 747. The cockpit is upstairs, along with 73 passenger seats. Pretty much like regular airline seats, except they’re removable. Also, they face backwards. There’s a square opening in the floor near the rear with a gate around it that goes down to the cargo bay. It’s pressurized but unheated, so you’ll see mist come up from it sometimes.
The last time I was on one, the airfield where we landed was having trouble with their mobile stair truck (the C-5 requires a special one to reach the upper deck), so they used a regular one, which only reaches the lower door. We had to exit by climbing down the ladder to the cargo bay. I remember everything in there being covered in frost.
