Birds of a feather flock together. David Frum writes an op ed piece shilling for fellow Progressive Republican Mitt Romney.

Attention, Chris Christie fans. If you are looking for a Republican nominee who could actually do the job of president, who does not repel independent voters, who can survive a 90-minute debate without saying anything foolish, why the hell not Mitt Romney?

[….]

Of all the Republicans in the field, Romney is least vulnerable to this line of attack. He did not associate himself with the Ryan plan to withdraw the Medicare guarantee from people under age 55. He did not denounce Social Security as a “monstrous lie.” He has not condemned the unemployed as layabouts.

Mitt Romney knows nothing about job creation. He is an economic vampire like Soros and got wealthy destroying people’s jobs. He is not well liked in the South and a low turnout among Republicans could tip some states to Obama. He is despised in the Hispanic Community and well do worse than McCain with that community. This costing him Florida, Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado. Romney will not win Pennsylvania and Ohio because of his actions at Bain Capital.

If by some miracle Mitt Romney wins in 2012, The Democrats will win back Congress in 2014 and in probably win back the White House in 2016. Conservatism will be discredited and the America we know will be gone. Mitt Romney is a disaster and must be rejected by the voters.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
