Well, the day of reckoning has arrived. Place your bets and put your  sports cliches in the comments!

Remember back in August; the Eagles were the greatest collection of football talent in the history of the league? The Ravens, led by Ray Lewis!!! were the team of destiny? Oh, the press so wanted the Eagles versus the Ravens, Dirty Bird Bowl, I suppose.

Well, the winner of the NY Giants and the New England Patriots get to be ‘The Team Of Destiny!” The winner of the rematch of SB XLII gets to use its own over the top adjective if they so choose, or the sporting press can pick one for them.

Vegas is giving the giants 2.5 and the over/under is 54.  I haven’t read any of the press coverage or who is predicted to win, I do know that 2.5 aint a whole lot of confidence in the Patriots from the betting public. That 54 O/U looks about right tho.

*We are going to run Opens all day, talk about whatever yinz want. We don’t want to waste a good post on a day where no one is really paying attention. Back to your regularly scheduled program at 2300 tonight with the OOT*

Comments are the sole opinion of the comment writer, just as each thread posted is the sole opinion or post idea of the administrator that posted it or of the readers that have written guest posts for the Blogmocracy.

Obscene, abusive, or annoying remarks may be deleted or moved to spam for admin review, but the fact that particular comments remain on the site in no way constitutes an endorsement of their content by any other commenter or the admins of this Blogmocracy.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
