Mitt Romney narrowly lost to Barack Obama last night. As I have been remarking on the blog for several months about my amazement how nothing effects Obama. While conservatives got themselves worked up over Fast & Furious and Benghazi, the American public didn’t care. I wrote many times nothing hurts Obama politically, but the coup de grace to Romney’s chances was an act of nature.
Hurricane Sandy struck the Northeast last week and this put the Presidential campaign on pause while Obama did photo ops showing him in charge. Then Chris Cristie gave Romney the kiss of death by praising Obama’s response to Hurricane Sandy and then he inviting Obama for photo ops. This stopped Mitt Romney’s momentum and shifted the election to Obama. The media covered up the botched response and ignored the disaster in NY.
Chris Cristie is one of the reasons why we lost as his butt kissing of Obama convinced low informed voters that Obama cared. For this betrayal, we must destroy Cristie’s political career and I call on conservatives to donate to whoever his Democratic opponent is. If Newark Mayor Cory Booker runs, I will donate money as I am dedicated to defeating Chris Cristie in 2013.
