Don’t Jump To Conclusions, Unless Of Course It’s To Blame Those Tea Partiers

Two videos here, both from those paragons of objective media at CNN. Immediately after the shocking events of yesterday, those guys at CNN were quick, and by quick I mean with lightning speed, to point out that yesterday was indeed Patriot Day in Boston. Then they posited the theory that Patriot Day in Boston brings out the elements of the Tea Party, elements which I have yet to actually see by the way, that treats these, right wing celebratory panderings much like the people of San Francisco treat their town while celebrating a professional sports championship.

Never mind that the Tea Party, even though it has been assigned the reputation for being violent, racist, homophobic, knuckle dragging, home grown terrorists, and even received the extra recognition of being placed on the Department of Homeland Security’s list of up and coming criminals to be given extra special attention, has not been shown or even seriously considered as a viable suspect in anything. Each and every time one of these events takes place, we get a salivating Wolf Blitzer on our televisions explaining how that while we should avoid jumping to conclusions, Conservatives did this.

So, here’s a first half exit question before you watch the two videos. Why does the avoidance of jumping to conclusions not include people who are tired of witnessing the loss of our Constitution?

Here we are, firmly into the next day on this thing, and I still haven’t seen any verified reports on what actually happened and who actually did it. One thing I am sure of however, is that nobody actually involved with their local Tea Party had squat to do with this heinous crime. What ever shakes out, bet your bottom dollar that the mostly middle aged to elderly folks who inhabit the Tea Party and spend a good bit of their time singing God Bless America and waving their flags while extolling the virtues of our Republic and Constitution, are not blowing up anything. Of course, allegations are not about facts, are they? Raising an allegation is easy, and the initial flash across a television screen is far more lethal to a person’s reputation than committing an actual crime. “Those Tea Partiers are crazy violent, and this is precisely the type of thing those loons might do,” is all Wolf needs to say, and his mission of fostering hatred for Conservatives has been accomplished.

Last week I read an interesting article about how each and every member of the Weather Underground is now out of prison, (those who went anyhow,) and has secured for themselves a flashy top level teaching position at America’s most prestigious Universities. What strikes me odd about the whole thing, especially when viewed together, is that these are precisely the tactics used by the political left when they want to inflict their Dystopian vision upon the rest of us. Kathy Boudin’s participation in the Brinks Robbery of Nyack, New York left 3 police officers dead, and provided a situation where 9 lucky children got to grow up without their fathers.

Since September 11, 2001 there have been 20,707 terrorist attacks launched by Islamic Militants around the globe. Radical Left of Center organizations have bombed the Pentagon, Police Stations in New York, Los Angelos, San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit, blown up or occupied various college buildings including the Army Math Research Center at the University of Wisconsin. These same, “Liberal,” scions of, “justice,” have robbed banks, often culminating in the violent deaths of police or civilians, and have used the environment as an excuse to plant bombs or commit arson, and yet, it is the Tea Party that is singled out as America’s proving ground for home grown terrorists. This, despite the fact that there is not one single instance of any Tea Party member doing anything egregiously offensive, or even remotely related to terrorism, beyond singing patriotic songs out of key.

As heinous a crime as singing poorly may be, my personal opinion is that it pales in comparison to the very real crimes committed in the name of, “social justice,” and are subsequently overlooked.

By the way, Kathy Boudin’s biography at Columbia University describes her as a community organizer, (where have I heard that job title before,) and political activist dating back to the 1960’s, and fails to mention her accomplishments as a bomb maker and cop killer. See, rehabilitation is possible. All you have to be is a liberal and leave a note at the scene of your crime claiming that you were doing it all for some higher altruistic purpose.
