Testing My DJI Phantom 3 Drone’s height and distance ability.

I have been very cautious about flying my drone too high or too far. In the series of videos I uploaded to my Youtube Channel I tested in an unfinished housing development the distance and the height that my drone can fly without losing the signal. The good aspect of  DJI’s Phantom is it’s return to home feature kicks in when the drone’s signal is lost.

The these 2 videos below, I flew my drone a distance of 950 feet out of line of sight. I used the DJI ap on my phone that steams the camera feed.

I flew my drone up 500 feet in this video before I lost the signal. The return home feature kicked in which enabled me to take control of the drone again when it hit 450 feet.

My next drone adventure will be a sunset on the beach.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
